Escape to the beauty of Sanibel Island at Loggerhead Cay #183, a welcoming two-bedroom, two-bathroom Gulf-view condo accommodating up to six guests. Professionally managed by Island Vacations Of Sanibel And Captiva, this pet-friendly Sanibel vacation rental combines relaxing coastal style, beautiful Gulf views and convenient access to the beach.

Soft shades of cream, green and yellow create a cheerful island atmosphere throughout the condo. The open living and dining area provides a comfortable place to reconnect after a day at the beach, while a sleeper sofa offers additional sleeping space. Step outside to the furnished patio and unwind with a close-up view of the shoreline.

The updated, fully equipped kitchen features white raised-panel cabinetry, solid-surface countertops and modern appliances, making it easy to prepare everything from quick breakfasts to relaxed family dinners. An in-unit washer and dryer add welcome convenience for beach days and longer visits.

The spacious primary bedroom features a king bed, while the second bedroom includes one queen bed and one twin bed. Together with the living-room sleeper sofa, the condo comfortably accommodates families, couples and small groups.

Located within the beachfront Loggerhead Cay community on Sanibel Island's convenient East End, guests can enjoy direct beach access, a heated community pool, tennis, a fitness room and an elevator. Restaurants, shopping, biking paths and popular Sanibel attractions are also within easy reach.

Please note: No smoking allowed in the unit, on the patios or any of the common areas on the property. This condo can only be reserved from Saturday-to-Saturady year-round.

Furry friends welcome! This unit is pet friendly but does not allow cats. 1 pet under 25 lbs is allowed per HOA rules. A non-refundable pet fee applies and must be paid directly to the management company.

Overall was lovely, liked pretty much everything. Problems included 2 broken ceiling fans, no WiFi password, ants in bathroom & kitchen, no grab bar in shower, too much stuff in closets so no room for my clothes, beach umbrella was cheesy & auger to drill into sand was much too short.

Nice guest cottage!

The property was clean, quiet, convenient to shopping, and not that far from the beach. The owner, Deb, was wonderful to work with and I would highly recommend staying at the property!

Perfect Location

Perfect for a family vacation! Just steps from the beach & a beautiful view from the balcony. Plenty of room in the condo & very clean. Beach chairs and umbrellas provided.

Very nice condo with a view of the Gulf. It is on the third floor with an elevator. Takes about 5 minutes to walk to the beach. Also near several good eating spots. Except for the no-see-ums, we had a great time and would definitely stay again!

A Flawless Vacation Spot!

As someone who's usually very picky about vacation rentals, I have to say this condo on Sanibel Island completely exceeded my expectations! It was spotless, bright, and beautifully furnished; every detail felt thoughtful and high-quality. The kitchen had everything we needed, the living space was comfortable, and the patio offered a fantastic view of the water. The short walk to the beach was perfect, and the quiet, peaceful setting made it easy to relax. Even the small touches, like extra linens and beach gear, made a big difference. I was genuinely impressed and would happily stay here again!

Great place!

Condo was clean and in a wonderful location. Had everything we needed inside and chairs/towels for the beach. One minute walk to beach. Beach views from the enclosed balcony. I would definitely recommend and stay again. Only downfall was no elevators so you have to go up and down 2 flights of stairs.

Great place

Property is just as described. Lots of kitchen items. Welcoming decor. Great view. Would definitely stay again. Management (Marge/Beth) we're on top of things and communication couldnt have been clearer.

So good to be back!

Everything was absolutely wonderful. The condo was super cute and had all the things you would need for a perfect stay. The beds were great. Supply of beach items were perfect. The view was great from the room. Cannot think of one complaint. We love Loggerhead, Sanibel owns my soul and no matter how long we stay- it’s never enough.

Our stay was wonderful!

The pictures don't do it justice! The views are breathtaking and you're overlooking the pool & beach and just steps away! Also a super close drive to any shops & restaurants on the island. The beds were very comfortable & plenty of drawer & closet space. Kitchen had everything needed and was very spacious. Lots of beach chairs & games at the condo. Only negatives about our stay: we were on the 3rd floor and the elevator was at the opposite end of our building. It's a lot for older family members to be hauling luggage up & down, would probably try to stay on a lower level next time. Also, the management teams were switching over at the time of our stay, so the communication, although prompt & very friendly, had some hurdles about parking and guest spots, passes, etc. that had we known, would have made plans to pop into the office upon arrival. Would highly recommend this stay to someone looking to relax in beautiful Sanibel Island!

Family Vacation

Steps to the beach! Great view from the lanai. Property was clean. Could use some updating-bathrooms need renovated, new furniture in both bedrooms, dryer is older and it took a long time for items to dry, linens in bedrooms and bathrooms could use refreshing, some beach item's weren't useable. Kitchen was stocked with everything to make meals. Community pool and amenities were nice. Communication with property management was promt and courteous.

Great condo location

Had a great visit other than the beds were very uncomfortable. The master mattress has sinkholes and should have been replaced a long time ago. The double in the spare was also uncomfortable. Having said that, it was a great place and well put together other than the beds

Our family had a great stay here. The condo is very well equipped in the kitchen as well as with beach equipment. We loved the lanai and enjoyed having both a couch and a table with chairs. The ocean view is wonderful and the beach is spectacular- we found many shells and even found some lightning whelks, though they were still occupied so we had to put them back. The decor is lovely and fresh. The A/C works well (it was hot outside during our stay) and the beds are comfortable. Lots of kinds of pillows to choose from, which I love as a pillow snob. The folks at Island Vacations were very responsive. All around great experience. We would love to stay here again.

Look somewhere else

I like the Loggerhead Cay property, this particular unit left a lot to be desired.First, the mobile check in for the condo would not work at 10p.m. Fortunately, someone did text me back with the code after I reached out. When I called the following day with my concerns that the coded door was not working properly, and describe numerous damages in the unit, I was told to only text them.The bathroom ceilings were peeling paint, the shower liners mildewed. There were issues with the a/c, that it was set at 50 and it was 73 degrees. The bedroom tv was broken on the stand, cleanliness was subpar ( long hair stuck everywhere).If you are looking to rent this unit, I’d suggest you look at something else.

Excellent

Wonderful time!! The condo was very nice and roomy. The kitchen had all the utensils we needed and updated appliances. We had a great view of the beach and ocean, considering the condo was right on the beach. Only negative was in the larger bedroom's bathroom, the tub could be up dated, there was some rust in the tub. The other negative was that the elevator quit running and we were on the third floor. BUT, it worked excellently all week. It was not working on the day of our departure!! Staff was very accommodating and came to help us get our suitcases downstairs. We enjoyed our stay and definitely plan to return to Loggerhead Cay!!!
