Room For All

When you have 3 generations of adults, it’s good to have room to congregate and room to spread out. This house provided both. Add your own personal pool and a relaxing lazy river…the makings of a great dwelling!

Excellent

We were a family group of 11 and there was plenty of room, it was clean, convenient, close to parks, nice recreational area with water park. Pool is very small but it was heated and good enough for our needs, especially with little kids. Only negative is that the house was a bit warm and there aren’t ceiling fans in the bedrooms. Some of the beds are a bit soft and have noisy plastic mattress protectors that also made it a little too warm at night. Nobody bothered us and we felt at home.

Poor cleaning

Clearly this house wasn’t cleaned well in between guests. There was blood on the bathroom doorframe, other people’s clothing left. For example, men’s underwear beneath the bed in front bed room! YUCK

“Home” for AAU Volleyball Nationals

The location is great and the community pool/activities are outstanding. The house has a spacious lay out and worked for our group of 7 made up of two different families. We appreciated the number of bathrooms and different bedroom set ups. There were a few things that were broken/damaged upon our arrival, which I made sure to inform the owner of immediately. The main disappointment was the pool area. It was dirty and lacking a skimmer basket so the debris just recirculated. The pool net was also broken so the dead bugs weren’t able to be fished out of the pool. I contacted the host and was told he’d have the pool guy come by, but I don’t think that ever happened - by the time we left there was still no filter basket and dead bugs circulating in the pool. Because of the bug situation, we really didn’t use the private pool. Also, there were no sun loungers so laying out in the sun was difficult. If and when we wanted to swim or lay out, we went to the community pool. This defeated the purpose of having a private pool area. The house is WARM. Interestingly, the A/C seems to be functioning very well on the upper floor while the main floor remains stuffy and you can hardly detect any A/C. There were a couple of box fans in closets that we took full advantage of. Would I stay here again? Probably not.Do I regret that we stayed here? No. In all, the house served its purpose as a place to sleep/eat while at the tournament.
