Awesome location

The location is excellent. Beautiful pool and only a few steps to the amazing beach. The building is very close to the local market (5 min walk) with loads of great Mexican restaurants, shops and vendors. The building also has a small store on site with snacks and beverages. Axel was very responsive to any issues or questions we had. A great place to stay!

Nice condo in a great location

The Tesoro room 522 was a nice condo in a great location. The property manager, Axel, was very responsive to all of are needs. The hotel property was well maintained. The pool was busy, but enjoyable. There were plenty of chairs at the beach and pool. The condo had been recently remodeled and was very nice. The air conditioner worked well and the beds were comfortable. We ate most of our meals out so we didn’t use the kitchen very much but the blender worked great. We would definitely rent this condo again.

Ocean Front Condo

Very good overall. So much better value for two single travelers to rent this rather than hotel rooms: my female friend & I each had our own bedrooms and bathrooms for much less than the corresponding price of two hotel rooms. The condo is lovely, with beautiful ocean views from the sitting room, balcony, & back bedroom. Great to have one's own kitchen too (though be warned you have to be v. tall to use the microwave easily!). Cleaning & laundry services great. Only slight negatives would be pokiness of front bedroom (we preferred to use sofa-bed in sitting area); accommodating six people as advertized would be, I think, a big stretch. Also, despite being on 5th floor & the hotel policy of no music after 10 pm, we were kept awake very late some nights by noise from neighboring nightclub. But this is almost to be expected in a resort area. To sum up: Excellent beach location, good value property, helpful & personable manager (Axel).

Very Satisfied

This is our second Stay in a Tesoro Condo Unit. 522 has been upgraded so it was nice, comfortable and very very clean! With 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms it’s perfect for a family. Great Ocean View off deck. The only downside is the air conditioner/fans etc on the next door building are a bit loud while out on the deck. But common at a lot of resorts. The Tesoro is typical 3 Star resort with a great pool and beach the hotel is clean and friendly. We had light snacks in our own kitchen and ate out every night off property. 5 minute walk to heaps of great restaurants, bars and shopping!! The owner and manager looked after us well. We are very satisfied with the good value and location of this condo Mucho Gracias

We called it our dump on the ocean

The location is wonderful! Axel is great! The condo needs a major update - needs everything from paint to new bathrooms - it has great potential just needs to be updated!
