The view and location are amazing. The house spacious and we did enjoy the stay. However the house is worn and dated. Stained carpet, doors that stick, pealing and marked wall paint, guest room beds were hard, vacuum was full of dirt and didnt work after we emptied it. These niggling issues on top of a poor check in experience means we wouldn't go back, which is a shame as the view is truly wonderful.

Kiama retreat

A beautiful home overlooking spectacular scenery within walking distance to a patrolled beach. The spa was wonderful and facilities were excellent. It was a much needed retreat at a sad time for our family . Thank you.

30th Wedding Anniversary Celebration

It was such an enjoyable and memorable 30th Wedding Anniversary celebration. We even got a glimpse of a whale it would’ve been perfect except the theatre room equipment didn’t work hence we didn’t get to watch a planned scary movie however overall it was a memorable stay which my

Could have been better

Unfortunately the spa doesn't get cleaned for every booking (Friday is cleaning day)we weren't able to use for 2days very disappointing, also cinema room wasn't advertised as bring your own leads another disappointing aspect thpropert.Luckily

Good Afternoon,We have just returned from our stay in the above property.It is a great size property with brilliant outlook, especially for a large family, or g group of friends.There were a few problems. We had no gas on arrival and although this was dealt with. The gas was hooked up to a very small container, we realised later. As we had the gas fire on, wr found out that on Sunday we could not use the cooktop again, as there was no gas. So, we also could not cook on Sunday night or breakfast on Monday. There was a bbq, but as we have people with allergies to food, things cannot be cooked together.The bbq, on arrival was very dirty and my son in law had to clean it.The bed in my daughter and son in laws room, so squeeky they could not sleep the first night, so my son in law bought some allen keys and tightened it up. The central light and fan in their room did not work.No one was able to get the cinema room equipment to work.There was a smell of damp in the downstairs bedroom and one of handles in the en suite bathroom draws is broken on one side. Also, the bedroom door handle was prone to dropping off.A lot of these are minor problems with the property and can be fixed easily.The lack of a good gas supply and the noisy bed, the fan not working and damp smell, were the ones that took the shine off the stay.All of the above should be fixed before this property is rented out.The dirty bbq, is down to the property agents (read instruction book.)

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would happily return. The location and views are outstanding, and having direct access to the coastal walk to the Mini Blowhole and Kendalls Beach was a real highlight. The house was spacious, comfortable and perfect for two families and our dog. The generous living areas, well-equipped kitchen, pool table and table tennis kept everyone entertained, while the gas fireplace created a cosy winter atmosphere.With some attention to maintenance, this could easily be a 5-star property. Several light bulbs and lamps weren’t working, the fireplace remote had flat batteries, and the master bedroom door handle fell off on our first day. There was also a noticeable odour throughout the house, and the dishwasher appeared to need a deep clean.A few safety improvements would also be worthwhile. The upstairs living area windows had no flyscreens or safety restrictors, which may be a concern for families with young children. We were also surprised there was no first aid kit or even basic bandages available after I cut my thumb on a cracked chrome edge on the ensuite tap.Overall, this is a beautiful home in an incredible location with fantastic potential. A little TLC and attention to the maintenance and safety items above would make it an easy 5/5 experience.
