Cozy space in Ganges

The Wildwood Cottage has everything you need to enjoy your stay on Salt Spring Island. Very comfortable bed, curtains for a good sleep. Personal parking spot with EV charger. Kitchen equipped to cook while you stay. There is a shared inground pool from June 1st-September 1st. Private front patio with couch, swing and fire pit. Our area is close to town but far enough away to be relaxing even in the busy summer months. Walking distance to the fabulous Salt Spring Wild Cider, grocery's, cold beer and wine and the Legion. 2 min walk to the main road and bus line. Only friendly pets on and off leash are welcome. We have a cat and dog that free room on the property. There is parking for one car on the property. Otherwise there is street parking.

Billie was very welcoming and the space was clean and everything was in good working order with a nice cozy charm. The bed was very comfortable and the kitchen was set up nicely for cooking a meal. I loved that it was so close to Ganges. I felt very safe as a solo traveler. I will definitely rent here again when I return. Thanks Billie!

We had a great time at The Wilder Woods! It is close to Ganges but far enough away to feel like a retreat from the crowds. The cottage had lots of room for all of us to spread out and was equipped everything we needed. The kids loved being able to swim in the pool, which was super refreshing after a day of exploring. Would recommend this place to anyone and would stay here again!

We had a wonderful time in Salt Spring. Lots to do and wish we had more time especially to hike. Ollie’s place was as described. Very easy communication. The space is convenient t to all locations especially the town of Ganges and Long Harbpur. Salt Spring Cidery just across the street. Beds were comfortable as well as pullout. Would stay again.

Lovely little cottage

Small cottage perfect for a couple. We also had our small dog with us. Lots of nice updates and the pool was a very nice benefit. Short drive to Ganges and easy access to most destinations on the island. Billie was very responsive.

Recommendation from the German family

Great location, super friendly family, nice pool (great for the kids). We had a perfect time and enjoyed the days. Walking distance to Ganger. Just the public transport could be improved .

Our stay at Wildwood

Our stay with Billie was awesome. She was warm and welcoming and struck a great balance between checking in to make sure all was well and giving us our space. The property was beautiful a short walk to the cidery and a reasonable walk to downtown. We will be back! Thank you Billie!

Paradise in paradise!

Billie is a lovely, generous, and kind host. We also had the pleasure of meeting her wonderful family.Wilderwood inspires rest and relaxation. Its location in the heart of Saltspring Island makes it ideal for all outings, from food and gourmet shops, restaurants, and bars to hiking and sunbathing. Salt spring sanctuary

Very cute and cozy, and comfortable. Short drive to Ganges, short walk to the cidery. We enjoyed hanging out on the patio with the fire going in the evening listening to the birds and telling stories. Billie is a great host and was available anytime.

Cosy cottage

Billie was a very responsive host and helped us figure out how to work the shower! Very nice finishes inside and we appreciated the scent free products in the space.

Thanksgiving get away

Very convenient spot, close to Ganges but nice and quiet. Clean and cozy, Billie is an attentive host. Bonus of a Tesla charge port. Perfect for a quiet escape.

Great place for a couple’s getaway

Billie’s guest house was very cute and in a perfect location for us, quite close to Ganges but outside the bustle. Lovely little kitchen—I always care about the kitchen—with nice contemporary appliances. I appreciated the high quality unscented soaps, shampoo and conditioner. Billie truly went out of her way to be accommodating during our stay. We recommend!

Lovely, quiet, perfect

This is a lovely place to stay. It is the perfect size for a couple with a wonderful outdoor area as well. The hosts were quick and helpful and the whole experience was calming and convenient. The ciderhouse restaurant down the road is amazing and it’s a 5 minute walk.

I will be back

This place is very cozy and beautiful. I felt relaxed and comfortable right away. The host was great, such a genuine human being. This will be the first place I'll look for when I'm back with friends and family.

I grew up on this beautiful Island, and love to call it my home. However, I love to travel and learn about different people. I stay very busy in the summer months as a wedding photographer and musician. I play in a local rock band and my own music at local restaurants in town. Id love to share with you my favorite hikes and places to visit. I am an open book if you want to come chat.

この宿泊施設のオーナーになった理由

I have lived in this home for 10 years and my parents chose the area as they lived around the corner :) Its a fabulous cul-de-sac with wonderful neighbors. My little girl has the freedom to explore as its safe and off the busy roads. Its close to all needed resources as well as beaches and lake fronts. We have a wonderful garden with over flowing berries and herb bounty when in season.

この宿泊施設の特徴

This is a shared property with our family and pets, not an isolated cabin in the woods. There is a 10 lb dog (chihuahua mix) and cat on the property, they are very friendly and social. They are free to roam so for safety of all only friendly pets can stay with us and they have to stay on leash.

Dogs are not allowed on the furniture but in case you sleep with your dog or can’t stop them please bring a blanket to cover the bed spread and couch :)
