Since the 1950’s, four generations of the Wurster family from Indiana, California, and Washington state have enjoyed this beautiful slice of paradise. Our family purchased the property in 1958 to enjoy warm winters away from our home in Indiana, and we fell in love with the people and the breathtaking beauty of the southeast side of the island.
This sprawling Caribbean hillside has changed dramatically over the years. The original house on the property was built in 1939. Today, Casa Wurster consists of four homes, three private swimming pools, hiking areas and a pickleball court. The addition of a private road winding up through the hillside allows for easy access to the top of the property where guests can enjoy the panoramic views of the Caribbean and mountains.
We love the wonderful people and culture of Puerto Rico, and it brings us great joy to share the beauty and local culture of this special island with our guests.
