Outdoor enthusiasts will enjoy the basketball goal and mini-soccer pitch along with the sparkling pool and fire pit with built-in seating. At the end of the day retreat to your private-entry bedroom featuring its own bathroom or gather together in the main living area featuring an oversized kitchen and plenty of space for all. And, if you need more room for friends, RioVista is located directly next door, and Casita Bonita is just yards away.

TOWELS: Bring bath towels, washcloths, kitchen towels, pool towels (no towels are provided).

PAPER GOODS: Bring paper towels, toilet paper, napkins, coffee filters. Your kitchen is equipped with dinnerware, silverware, drinking glasses, and basic cookware, but you may want to bring paper plates, plastic cups, and plastic ware.

We will provide a list of additional "what to bring" items after your booking payment is received.

Family getaway

It was not the best weather, but the place was very nice and still had a great time. The pool was very nice and the rooms were nice and big.

Hey y'all! We're Brannon & Wendi Hightower, owner-operators of Frio River Resorts.

We met in college in 1995 and have been together ever since. Frio River Resorts was started by Brannon's parents nearly 20 years ago and it has been continuously Hightower-family-owned and operated the entire time, with us buying the business in 2018.

We're local and we live in Concan full-time and enjoy serving as stewards of our community with participation in local boards and volunteer organizations. You've likely seen us on River Road as you leave on Sunday supporting the Concan Volunteer Fire Department in our “Fill The Boot” fundraising campaigns, or out to eat at Neal's or House Pasture.
