Waterfront condo with stunning views in Glen Arbor. Air conditioning.

When you walk into the condo you will not believe the beautiful view of Lake Michigan and the Crystal River right out your window. You can even hear the water lapping on the shore. This top floor condo with great sunset views has two bedrooms plus a small loft bedroom and two bathrooms. The condo fits two couples or a family with children well. Not recommended to sleep all adults although that is allowed. Sleeps up to seven.

The main floor bedroom has a queen bed and a Murphy bed. The upstairs bedroom has a queen, and the small loft has two twins. There is a full bathroom on each level. The kitchen with breakfast bar overlooks Lake Michigan and the Crystal River.

Relax on the balcony with your morning coffee and feel the gentle breeze off the water. Drive just a couple miles to Glen Arbor for dining, shopping, kayaking, tennis, and even mini golf! Ten minutes to the Sleeping Bear Dunes climb. Head to Big Glen Lake for boat or jet ski rentals. Thirty minutes to Traverse City.

Wall A/C units. Homestead Resort amenities (pool, tennis, etc.) are not included.

Great Location Great View

Really enjoyed our stay. Loved the location and being on Lake! Unsalted & Shark Free! Had a great time in Glenn Arbor area and exploring the dunes. Look forward to return trip to Northern Michigan.

Perfect Location

A great spot right by the lake. It was a working vacation for us so we appreciated that the wifi was reliable. Not a lot of gathering space inside, but that wasn't the goal. Everything worked and was clean, and you can't beat the location! Would rent again.

Quiet and relaxing location with stunning views

Location is great, can drive to glen arbor in minutes. Unobstructed views of the sunsets every evening. Very quiet, the week we stayed was off season and right before the summer rush would begin. Would go on the balcony and the only noises was the water on the beach and birds.

Nice View but no living space. Underwhelming at best.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Although clean, unit was very tired. It is true the unit slept 8, but at the expense of loosing all other living space. We had small children with us and the unit didn’t feel safe. The railings and stair risers openings were not small enough to prevent children from falling through. The loft had zero head room over one bed and a non-recessed light which our 7 year old could touch with their head when sitting up. This was basically a one bedroom unit with all living area converted to sleeping space. Even the one bedroom with the Murphy bed down had no room to walk around. This was probably a nice space for two years ago but pitching it as “sleeps eight” is a stretch.

The condo was nice but no real common area to hang out except at kitchen table or setee. The TV area was upstairs in loft bedroom with 2 large chairs. For 4 people 2 had chairs and 2 sat on the bed. The location was good.

2nd Year in this rental

Rating Details: The vacation rental was clean. I was happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: After the first year I called regarding the condo and told them the TV wasn’t working lucky my husband worked hard again to get it to work. Told them last year the couch was full of sand and the floor was too. This year still some sand on couch and on the floor with crumbs. This was our last year staying in this condo.

THE VIEW!!!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The view is OUTSTANDING!!! Also, loved being so close to the river and lake! One of the few condos that have A/C and the kids loved the top loft. We lost electricity due to storm damage and management was great about keeping in communication with us about the progress of it being restored. Cleanliness was good, but the fridge could use updated as it struggled to keep temperature down and we had alot of food in there to keep cold since we did alot of cooking there.

Great water-facing property for family with quick beach access

Loved the quick easy access to a private beach. House well furnished and fit our family of 5 perfectly! The condo complex was quiet. Laundry services on property for $ was nice for the middle and end of our stay. Glen Arbor is our fav little quaint town. We have stayed at 3 condos in the Homestead and this is by far our favorite location and view!

Safety concerns

The property was a perfect location to relax, unwind, and totally disconnect from business life. Our main concern was no smoke detectors!!! The brackets were located in two areas with the actual smoke detector missing. The fire extinguisher was last inspected in April of 2019 with expiration one year from that date. Not ideal when considering safety.

Reviewer Comments: We loved the scenery form the condo. Enjoyed the area and most of the condo. We want to plan on coming back but a couple things need to be taken care of. The bathroom sink on the main floor would fill up and very slowly drain. Queen Mattress upstairs was very uncomfortable and would slide around. We will be coming back but thought as an owner you would like to know. Thanks
