Time out on Tilsley
Take time out on Tilsley Street - 10 minute bike ride to the Waipa mountain bike trails, a short trip to central Rotorua and a short walk to great cafes and bakeries. The property is centrally located within a 5 minute drive to the centre of the city but within a peaceful residential area.
There are luxury linens on the two queen beds and an inner sprung mattress on the sofa bed meaning a comfortable bed is on hand for 2 more guests. Extra blankets and electric blankets are available for the cooler nights. Enjoy the north facing patio for morning coffees with mountain views or sunset wines before heading around to the fire pit. Perfect for 4 guests but can sleep up to 6.
The Smart TV, local art, well stocked kitchen, Nespresso machine and UE boom make it the perfect spot to relax.
The space
Open plan loving with a large living room with stacking slider doors which open onto the sunny patio - perfect for coffees or wine. A great space to retreat to at the end of the day.
Two spacious and stylish bedrooms complete with queen beds, storage and complete with comfortable linens.
Full stocked kitchen with cookware and pots, microwave and coffee plunger. Some basics like oil and tomato sauce provided.
Lockable bike storage is off the laundry, bike cleaning brushes and hose available for avid mountain bikers. A small washing machine and drying line is available for a mid travel wash, otherwise there is a laundromat around the corner.
Firepit and gas bbq are in the back garden for guest use.
Peaceful, quiet and relaxing while being a perfect base to explore Rotorua or catch up with family and friends. Or stay in and enjoy a board game and home cooked meal. Centrally located to explore the city and surrounds of Rotorua or further afield with day trips to Taupo or Hobbiton easily accessible.
Guest access
You have the whole house to yourself. I am only a couple of minutes away if assistance is needed though.
Other things to note for small children
The main bedroom has space for a travel cot although one is not provided but the patio has no railing and drops 1 meter to the garden.
