We absolutely loved staying at this property. It was a very relaxing place to stay. Very comfortable and clean. We truly enjoyed our stay here from the amazing views, the lovely cows and the amazing variety of bird life. There is a bird feeder with a good supply of bird feed we stayed in winter and there was a plentiful supply of firewood for the combustion fireplace in the house and the fire pit just up the rise from the gate to the house. We woke up to fog in the valley on 1 morning which was beautiful. Highly recommend staying here we will certainly be back when we next travel to the Sunshine Coast hinterland.

Relaxing stay

Lovely relaxing stay in a comfortable home. We loved and enjoyed the deck which has an amazing view. The property is very clean and comfortable for us and 2 children. Unfortunately the dishwasher didn’t work during our stay but this was a small issue. I’m sure will be rectified. The fencing is definitely not totally secure with large gaps in multiple places. This wasn’t an issue for us as our dogs don’t wander but could be if you have small dogs or ones that need secure fencing. We really enjoyed the fire pit area (which is a short walk up the driveway from the house). The kids loved the cattle as well (be mindful of electric fencing in some areas). Overall we really enjoyed it and a dose of quiet and nature was lovely.

While we understand the importance of secure fencing, we try our best to make sure to inform guests with smaller or more adventurous pets about the couple of areas they should be mindful of, despite the overall fencing around the property. We’re glad you enjoyed the fire pit area and the cattle—such a peaceful experience!
