Tucked into the lush, tropical setting of Sanibel Island's east end, this inviting one-bedroom, one-bathroom townhouse at Signal Inn is the perfect island retreat. Professionally managed by Gulf Coast Vacation Rentals, Unit #2 combines casual comfort with thoughtful details and a prime location just steps from the heated community pool and a short stroll to Sanibel's renowned shell-covered shoreline along the Gulf.

With southeast sun exposure, the interior is filled with warm natural light that highlights the coral and sunset-toned décor throughout. Elevated above the tropical landscape and accessed by a flight of stairs, the townhouse offers a bright, private setting with peaceful views. The spacious living area includes a sleeper sofa to accommodate additional guests and opens to a fully screened lanai overlooking the pool, where you can relax and enjoy the soothing sounds of island breezes. Tile flooring, stainless steel appliances, and coastal-inspired furnishings enhance the fresh, laid-back atmosphere of this well-appointed vacation home.

The primary bedroom features a plush king-sized bed and generous closet space, while the bathroom offers a walk-in shower and updated vanity. Whether you're enjoying a quiet morning coffee on the lanai, preparing a beach picnic in the well-equipped kitchen, or heading down the boardwalk to the beach, every part of your stay is designed to be easy and relaxing.

Signal Inn is a low-density, pet-friendly beachfront property nestled in one of Sanibel's most desirable neighborhoods. Guests enjoy on-site amenities including a heated pool, hot tub, BBQ grills, and laundry facilities, all surrounded by beautifully maintained tropical landscaping. Its location near the Sanibel Lighthouse, miles of bike paths, and the shops and restaurants along Periwinkle Way makes it easy to experience the island's natural beauty and laid-back lifestyle.

Unit #2 at Signal Inn is more than just a place to stay—it's a place to unwind, reconnect, and experience everything that makes Sanibel Island such a beloved destination.

House Rule: No smoking. No burning candles inside of lodging. No parties.

Furry friends welcome! Up to 2 pets allowed. A non-refundable pet fee applies and must be paid directly to the management company.

All units have beach towels, beach chairs and beach umbrellas. Smart TV's throughout the unit.

Super clean and right near the beach

Would definitely stay here again! It was very clean and comfortable, and it only takes like 2 minutes to walk to the beach. The pool is also clean and well maintained. The units come with beach chairs and miscellaneous beach toys so it's great for kids. Convenient location near shops and restaurants. Also, the number of shells on the beach is astounding. Highly recommend.

Paradise

We stayed at Signal Inn for a week, and it was the best week we've experienced. It's total paradise, walking distance to a private beach, and just a couple miles from public beaches. The staff was very responsive and friendly and would not hesitate to return. If you haven't been to Sanibel Island, you should consider, no stop lights, no franchise's, no traffic, and everyone is very friendly.

Lovely property

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at this property. It has a living area with a kitchen, one bedroom and a lovely screened in porch facing east. Sunsets were lovely. It was small but adequate for 2 people especially since we spent most of our time at the beach which is a 3 minute walk from the unit. The unit was clean and the kitchen was well stocked.

Incredible beach

Units were nice! Not luxury, and not run down. Beach was incredible, no crowds and lots of shells. Just note that the buildings are duplexes so odds are there will be people on the other side of your wall. Also, hurricane damage has made it so there is only once beach walkway.

Nice clean property with beach access for that long-awaited Sanibel getaway. Fully stocked condo. Beach chairs and outdoor water spigot to rinse sand and salt off. Noisy central AC blower in bedroom.
