Holiday Haus

The house was great, and so was the location. My only suggestion would be to add more cookware. We rented the property expecting to stay in but ended up eating out because of the lack of cookware.

Loved the Holiday Haus!

Our trip to Ruidoso was perfect and the house met all our needs. We stayed over Thanksgiving week and cooked our Thanksgiving meal there. We were with three, young, active children and they did great in the house. The closed in porch was great to be able to let them play in the snow if we didn't want to go outside and the long drive was great for little adventures with the kids. The road in front of the house wasn't busy at all. We've stayed other places where the road was so busy it was distracting. There was plenty of wildlife to look at here as well. There were things that were outdated, but not an issues for us at all. Even though outdated, it met all our needs and was a cozy little place. We would plan another stay here, thanks for a great week!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It was very large an beautiful love the rooms an the patio everything was very spacius, the game room needs a little renovation, but overall it was great. It was the little issue about the hot water running out real fast, 3 people will take a shower and that was all, we will have to wait for 30 min to have another 3 people shower with hot water but i comented this to condotel and they said they will fix it right away.This is my second year renting for this company and I will definitely go for a third one, very pleasant experience.

Could have been better 😒

The check in process was so easy, but to be honest the issues started before we even got to the location. We received a call two days before check in letting us know that the hot tub wasn't working, and the issues didn't stop there unfortunately. When we arrived the house seemed like it hadn't been dusted or opened in at least 2 months, the air conditioning in the main area didn't work, and the garbage disposal backed up into the sink anytime you put anything in it, or ran the dishwasher. We called the office twice the first day and left two messages with no reply. We called back the next day to only be told that someone had already come, and that the air conditioning could not be fixed, and then rudely were told to simply not use that half of the sink. The lack of communication from the office was a little aggravating to say the least especially since they told us a manager would be calling us about the hot tub before we even got there. I completely understand the times and that it takes things a bit longer, however I was sadly disappointed and probably won't be using Condotel in the future.

Not the best cabin.

The hot tub was removed and no longer in the property. The grill didn't have propane. The access road to the property has a hole, it damaged my car. There was no fire wood in the property, no trash bags, the front door and restroom door don't close properly etc. I've rented many cabins in my life. This one is way far from the best.

Beautiful place to getaway

Great place to stay except the air condition kept freezing. The unit isn’t big enough for the place. Loved the comfy beds and relaxing hot tub. We saw a few deer but wasn’t too far from seeing more.

Modest Spacious Cabin

With some tlc (to address the broken/scuffed boards, scuffed cabinets, and torn and frayed window coverings, mattresses, rickety bunk bed, cracked dining chairs, dusty Christmas decorations, etc) I think this property would be a more desirable place to stay. The correct remote control wasn’t available so there was no tv until we called for the technicians to come out. They fixed it promptly. The wifi didn’t work the entire time we were there. The foosball table and hot tub were definitely highlights though! Ample towels, linens and blankets were provided. The location is great; you feel secluded, yet you’re a short drive into town.

Would be cozy & quaint for Christmastime.

We had everything we needed & the property is nice, if outdated. We encountered a nest of wasps upon arrival & called to report them, as we had an individual with us who is allergic, plus 4 babies. Condotel sent someone within minutes to take care of the problem, which we very much appreciated. The only negatives were a few cobwebs, a spider or two, & the toilet seats & shower curtain liners definitely need replacing.

House very outdated

Everything was very old, from kitchen appliances to TVs, doors didn’t lock, main entrance door was a pain to open, we got snowed in and management told us that they would send somebody to plow out long driveway and they never came, they should’ve told us we needed to arrange that ourselves instead of telling us they would get it done, we spent half a day trying to get out, house was clean but even the table games were messed up and incomplete so we had to go buy our own, they only gave me one house key and wanted me to come back the next day to pick up another one instead of delivering themselves since they didn’t have it ready, so I didn’t pick it up because it was far from our house. They did not have extra toilet paper or paper towels. We enjoyed the views and the house property but the house definitely needs a lot updating, for the price it’s definitely NOT worth it!!!

Electrical needs some work. Downstairs bathroom plug doesn’t work at all. Washer and garage disposal stunk terrible upon arrival. Upstairs tv caused cable to go out and didn’t work upon arrival. Cable company said upstairs was causing the problem. Light out in refrigerator. Big vacuum doesn’t work, small one works barely. Nice house, enjoyed our stay.

Had a wonderful vacation with family!

Nice and quiet place to stay! Enjoyed the plentiful wildlife and yet the convenience of being close to town. Enjoyed different nearby events as well as other activities.

The acommodations were very convenient as there were three rooms: two of them with KS beds, for two couples, and one for children, with capacity for 6 kids. The cabin has a den with sofa, TV and games next to the kids, room. That provided some privacy for both adults and kids.

Shortened trip

House was not as large as we thought and luckily all of our group was not able to come as sharing two bathrooms with 10 people would have been very interesting. The beds were there but we would have been wall to wall people if all 10 had come. Master bath needs some repair (looks like a water leak) on the ceiling. Tub drain would not work to hold bath water. I bought a stopper so I could have a bath. Location was good, close to town, restaurants, etc. We only got to stay two nights as we had an emergency at home so of course we lost money for our additional 3 nights. I am still waiting for my security deposit refund. House would be fine for 6 but I would not recommend it for more than that.
