It was a very good location. The master bedroom stipulated a queen size mattress, however, it proved to to be two twins pushed together, so our linens did not properly fit the bed, which was irritating. Also, some of the pillows were stained, which is off putting, and the mattresses overall were poor - saggy/no support, be it for the 'queen' or the 'twin' beds. The place could use a painting - the walls were stained. giving it an unclean feeling, and the mattresses and pillows were skeevy. The location was great, and the kitchen and deck were nice. The washer and dryer need a major upgrade. It looks like it is from the 1970's, rusted and nasty on the outside. I wiped the interior of the dryer with disinfectant wipes since I could tell minimal attention is kept to the place. It also could barely handle a blanket being washed, which was an issue since I wanted to wash anything that touched the nasty beds before we let. Bottom line - great location. Kitchen and deck nice. The bedrooms and basement/laundry area were gross. Invest in some paint, new mattresses, and offer pillows without stains on them - it is disgusting.

This was a new rental when I booked (no reviews at the time). This ranch style home was clean and as described. It's in quiet neighborhood and had easy access to Ridgevale beach and Chatham.A few things to note:The area rugs have light stains. The living room furniture looks older, some with knitted appolstery, which was not comfortable for us. There was a musty smell in the living room area.As 1 other reviewer has noted since I booked: the 4 twin beds in the 2 front bedrooms are very hard and uncomfortable. King bed in master was great though.The master shower head drips even when the control is fully closed; this made it hard to sleep at night and water also splashes onto the floor if the curtain is not fully closed. The kitchen sink also leeks from the faucet base when used.There was no hand soap in the 2 bathrooms, and only 1 trash bag in the entire place (in a small kitchen trash can). I looked everywhere for more bags, with no luck. The only hand soap was in the kitchen. IMO the soap and bag issue is on the cleaner, and I did not report the issue while there.The place was otherwise in good condition. The A/C works well.With a few things fixed or replaced it would be 5 stars. I would stay again, though not for what i paid for a midweek stay in current condition. I booked only 4 weeks ahead, so options were limited.

Pleasant, no frills stay

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Good location near Ridgevale Beach and Marion's Pie Shop. House was as advertised and spacious enough for our group of 5 people. The twin beds were less comfortable than the king, and there were a few small issues (low on supplies like paper towels and soap, dust, holes in screens), none of which were so bothersome as to warrant call to the property managers. Overall a positive experience.
