Experience Canmore's timeless allure in this newly renovated 2,000 sq. ft. 4-bedroom, 2-storey ski-inspired chalet. Designed for relaxation, our duplex boasts dual living areas with a pool table + arcade machine, and a whimsical Harry Potter hideaway for the little ones. Conveniently located with restaurants across the street, a 10-min walk to downtown shops, and easy access to the mountains + highway. Soak in towering views of Three Sisters, Ha Ling + Rundle Range mountains from the two decks.

⭐ "This is the most unique place we've ever stayed at in Canmore. We taught our kids to play pool and tried to beat each other at the PacMan arcade game. So much fun together!"

Entire duplex + TWO reserved uncovered parking spots in the front of the property. Free parking is also available on the street + motorcycle/scooter parking in the back.

Our vacation home is in a peaceful residential Canmore community, with an adjacent neighbour. Please respect the quiet hours from 10 pm to 8 am that are *strictly* enforced. Please also inquire about our discounted longer term stays!

Wonderful place for a family! Eight of us and lots of room! Teenagers lovedThe pool table and the arcade machine. BabyLoved the Harry Potter Room and teepee Kitchen fully stocked over and above! Great location. Comfortable beds. Definitely will return!!

We loved this place. Lots of room, well stocked and a great location. Franco couldn't have been better to deal with, he fed us lots of info re: Canmore highlights and was always quick to respond to any questions we had. Complimentary wine on arrival, Park Pass, and a gift certificate when we left for Tims, all over and above and greatly appreciated.

The host was very helpful, friendly and quick to answer!We enjoyed our stay in Canmore a lot. There was lots to do for the kids and adults alike. The place was extremely clean and well stuffed with everything you need.It seemed a bit dated but was still a good fit for a short weekend in the mountains!

We were down for a wedding, the house was very clean and the host very responsive to any and all questions. We enjoyed our stay and with 2 living areas it gave us plenty of space for everyone. Which was nice with the varied ages of all that stayed.

Review for accommodations:Very happy overall. All amenities (washer/dryer, grill, oven, dishwasher) worked well. Beds were comfortable. The decor was fun and welcoming. The downstairs games room was great for the kids, while upstairs hosted the adults. We were very happy with how fast the landlord responded to our questions. We recommended this accommodation highly.

Huge house fit our party of 10 easily with everything we wanted.

On two floors, the kids enjoyed the main level as a huge "rumpus" room while the adults relaxed on the upper level and used to well-equipped kitchen.Queen and king sized beds in three bedrooms and a bunk room allowed family groups to find several options. The kids used the huge sofa on the main floor instead of the pull-out sofa on the upper floor. Its easy to find, close to town centre and close to the highway to Banff where we had an amazing day of skiing.

Awww in Canmore

Perfect condo for our family in a great location. The views are stunning...absolutely mesmerizing right from the balcony. The condo was very clean and had everything we needed for our escape plus a few extra surpises. Very comfortable and relaxing. Location is unbeatable...walking distance to restaurants, grocery stores, shopping, gear rentals etc. . Banff is a 20 min drive so easy to get to. Franco and Mai are great communicators and have great tips for the area. We fell in love with Canmore and can't wait to return to The Mountaineer. See you soon! to great to.

Great Base Camp for Canadian Rockies Adventure

The Mountaineer was everything we hoped for on our week long Trip in Banff, Yoho, Kananskis and Kootenay. The place is spacious, comfortable, and has everything you need. We loved to top floor with the kitchen, dining room and big living room where we ended each night watching a movie together. The view from the top porch is fantastic. We sat there, drinking our morning coffee and admired the mountains. Beds were comfortable and the place felt quiet. There was plenty of room for each one to find some space to unwind. Location is great with walking distance to grocery store, coffee shops, restaurants and liquor store. Town center is walking distance as well but we chose to make the short drive over. The host was super responsive and very helpful with useful information and tips. I really enjoyed our communication. It was very helpful when it comes to planning our daily adventures. Would absolutely stay again. Thank you so much for everything.

The Mountaineer was a standout choice to accommodate our whole crew. My granddaughters loved the Harry Potter room and their bunk beds. We are a group who loves to cook and were amazed that the kitchen was equipped with everything from a pastry brush to a rice cooker! The location was ideal—easy walk to groceries, coffee shops and restaurants. The building is not new but seemed well maintained with lots of living space. We’d go back in a heartbeat!
