Enjoy the star studded Mackenzie sky lying in bed, or in our private outdoor garden area with an outdoor bath. This cosy modern studio unit, sleeps 4 in queen bed and separate bunkroom. Combined with a large, walk in shower; separate toilet room; kitchenette and bbq for your own cooking convenience, well heated by heat pump and TV/wifi.
This lovely property is only 5 minutes drive to the blue lakes of Lake Ruataniwha, Pukaki or Benmore. Spend the day at the blue lakes of Lake Ruataniwha, Pukaki or Benmore, or heat to majestic Mt Cook just 45 minutes away. Visit the salmon farm and buy fresh salmon or take a day bike on the A20 bike trail. Tucked away in a quiet cul de save but only 2 minutes walk to restaurants and shopsThe perfect accommodation to rest and relax between exploring one of the most beautiful areas of the world.

We had a very disappointing stay. After arriving with our baby on a busy public holiday weekend, the place had not been cleaned and the beds all slept in. Rachel initially got back to me and this was fixed within a few hours. But there were other issues, there was rubbish throughout the outside area, the outdoor bath did not work, the internet did not work, the bbq was rusty and unusable. We contacted the host Rachel to try remedy these issues but received no reply for the two nights we stayed. To try stay somewhere else was difficult after we had paid already, had our baby with us and there were multiple events on in Twizel. I have had to contact bookabach to request a partial refund.

Not exactly two bedrooms accommodation, the room with door has no heater/ air conditioner. WiFi not available and the host not responsive.

Cosy spot in great location

Sweet jumping off point for all the region has to offer, lakes mountains and culture. Kids loved relaxing in the outdoor bath watching the stars:-)

Great Price. Close to groceries and shopping. The unit is small but has everything you may need to be self sufficient. The Queen bed was very comfortable.The water pressure in the unit was excellent. The shower was very good. The kitchen is compact but has everything to make a meal. All in all it was cute and comfortable.

Lovely!

Great property! Comfortable and great location. Some issues with the check in process as the booking was not the same on my VRBO as theirs so I would recommend reaching out the night before or the morning of check in. Also no check out instructions so hopefully I followed the rules:))

We are a family of 4 who love to escape to the Mackenzie country to enjoy this majestic area. When we found this gem of a property, we were excited that we could share our beautiful space with people who want a lovely space to stay in, in this magnificent area of the world.

For 15 years our family has enjoyed the beautiful lakes of the Mackenzie area and sitting watching the water, or clouds and amazing skies that the area has to offer. Twizel too has some great little shops and restaurants that we highly encourage you to check out!

This property is a like a tiny home, with a modern, beautiful feel. It is both private and quiet, but still right in the centre of town. The outdoor garden with barbeque and outdoor bath is a great place to sit out and watch the stars, without having to travel a step! Enjoy
