Under 90 minutes from Toronto escape to the beauty and Tranquility of Ontario's Northland.
Listen to the loons. Light a bonfire and watch the Stars. Listen to Crickets and the frogs calling each other at night. Read on 1 of 2 porches or the hammock. Swim. Explore by kayak or canoe. FISH. The fall charms with quiet lake reflections of brilliant tree colours. Hike and marvel at how each tree has its own shades of red, yellow and orange. Visit a pumpkin farm or a fall fair. In winter, the beautiful quiet vastness of the frozen lake charms you outdoors as the sun glistens off the snow like millions of diamonds. Cross country ski off the property, snowmobile, ice fish, skate. Or read a book in front of the cozy fireplace.
The cottage is well appointed and recently nicely renovated, very clean with a loaded kitchen and many amenities. The cottage is on one level with decks at the front and the back and a dock for your enjoyment. The views from the covered porch onto the lake are stunning, especially at sunset.
Sparrow Lake has some of the most beautiful sunsets in Ontario and is a great boating and fishing lake.
