What an amazing stay! Such a cool, secluded little spot with gorgeous views, incredible stargazing, and the perfect hot tub to relax in. We loved how peaceful and private everything felt. It was the perfect little getaway, and we seriously can't wait to come back! Highly recommend!

the most tranquil property I have ever stayed at. The stars were amazing and having a jacuzzi to relax in while star gazing was perfect. The house was so cozy and pristine. Lara, the host, was quick to answer any questions. Will absolutely request another stay if I am back in the area.

This place was an absolute dream! So peaceful, relaxing, and exactly what we needed. One of our favorite moments was sipping coffee in the hot tub while watching the sunrise. Pure magic! The little art studio was such a fun and unique touch, and we loved having that experience right on the property. The house was spotless, smelled amazing, and was so thoughtfully stocked with everything you could possibly need. The host was incredibly responsive, which made the whole experience even better. We loved listening to records, slept wonderfully, and just enjoyed slowing down and soaking it all in. It was the perfect little escape, and we honestly didn’t want to leave. We can’t wait to come back!

This is a beautiful property and so peaceful. I really enjoyed watching the bunnies and the road runners in the yard. The house itself is absolutely beautiful.

Gorgeous, serene property surrounded by stars and Joshua trees. We enjoyed listening to records, watching the rabbits and coyote, and stargazing. We had everything for a comfortable stay and enjoyed our time in the desert.

Beautiful property and surroundings..Host was wonderful and easy to communicate with. Next year, I will rent a higher profile vehicle to feel more confident driving the unpaved roads to get to the property. My little car made it fine, I will just feel more confident in an SUV.

The place was exactly as we expected! A little hard to find bc else got stuck in major traffic coming out of LA, but the house was lovely, the stars were beautiful, we wish we had more time to spend but we're off to tour the park and head back. Thank you!

Such an amazing home, the vibes were perfect and very secluded. Great walking areas near by, a bit off road for driving wise but great for what we wanted.

We had the most magical time. The Ocatillo is a gem of a property. The house is wonderful, the grounds and surroundings are a beautiful way to get up close and personal with the desert. We thoroughly enjoyed the star gazing at night. Despite the hot day temps (July visit) the mornings and evenings were so perfect outside. We had good access to the Yucca Valley and Joshua Tree National park areas. We had several ant visitors but had amazing communication with our host and they did not dampen our stay at all.

Clean house, pleasant stay in the desert, and a very responsive manager who quickly and efficiently resolved the hot tub water cleanliness issue.

We loved staying here! The remote location was perfect for our getaway and the large fenced property was perfect for our dog to roam safely. Stargazing in the hot tub was spectacular! We would love to come back.

The property was stunning, magazine worthy. We loved the peace and quiet, the outdoor area was gorgeous. We used the hot tub and BBQ grill during our stay. Convenient to Joshua Tree National Park and stores/restaurants, but away from the crowd.
