Hotel in a great location. Very close to everything but very peaceful. Lovely clean room. Lots of nice touches - coffee, gowns, slippers etc. Comfy beds. Really nice terrace area with lovely views but sadly we didn’t have the best weather to enjoy it. Our only negatives are that while the room had everything you needed, as a result we found the room cramped (nowhere really to store anything/put your case) and probably due to the weather but the bathroom drains were smelly (but the bathroom was very clean!)

Yolanda was very kind and her hospitality goes beyond the expectations, the place is really nice and has everything you need to be comfortable while relaxing after visiting gorgeous places around Córdoba. I’ll give to El Aljibe an extra star for all the details that they have to greet their guests.

While there was no receptionist, the host was very responsive and helpful via WhatsApp. She recommended a couple of restaurants and they were superb! Welcome drinks are a great treat specially due to the very hot weather. Great rooftop area. Very peaceful and provides a great view all around.

Cottage style with terrace

Love this place to stay with an outdoor terrace and windows that open for fresh air. Location was perfect with shops, restaurants, and major attractions within walking distance. You can communicate with just via WhatsApp for easy communication and help at your finger tips. Checkin was easy!

Perfect in every way

Perfect location. Apartment was roomy and had everything you needed and very comfortable. Terrace was lovely. 4 mins to the Mezquita, and lots of restaurants bars shops etc on your doorstep. Very quiet and peaceful. Would return in a flash.

Great choice for staying in Cordoba

Everything in the room feels new. They even provided robes, drinks in the fridge. Beautiful view from rooftop terrace. Great location, close to cathedral/mosque. We took a bus from the train station but a taxi for $10 would have been a better choice. Would definitely recommend this place.

We loved our one night stay at El Aljibe. Clean, great location, safe. Had good communication with property. We stayed in the deluxe apartment and it was spacious. We spent time on the terrace which you could see the mosque and local clay roofs. Had a short walk from taxi drop off to hotel. Owners called taxi for us the next day and walked us to our pickup point. Highly recommend.

We had one of the two 2nd floor terrace apartments. The terrace was a lovely place for coffee in the morning or a drink in the evening. The listing photos are accurate. The apartment itself has an excellent layout and includes bathrobes! The kitchen included a coffee maker and Coffee Pods. (So many places do not include coffee pods, that I now carry 2 sizes). There are many restaurants nearby (walk away from the Mezquita) and it is also easy to hail a taxi in that direction. Cordoba deserves a few days to explore and this would be a great place to do it from.

We stayed in the "attico deluxe" and our assumption was that the terrace pictured in the details was for our exclusive use. We were extremely disappointed to find that all outdoor spaces/terraces are communal and anyone staying in the apartments can use them. We couldn't open the shutters in the lounge or bedroom as the windows faced the main terrace and we would have completely lost our privacy. We also had to endure people sat directly in front of the windows talking. The owners of the apartment should make it VERY clear that all terraces are communal. The sink in the toilet was completely inadequate in terms of its size to be used to shave or wash your face, I had to wash my face in the kitchen! The cooking utensils were totally inadequate if you wish to cook and there is no oven or microwave. There was no kettle so we had to boil water in a pan to make hot drinks. There is a coffee maker which also heats water but not to boiling point which is needed for tea making. The positives: Good, quiet location. Immaculately clean. Stylish, spacious interior. Easy check in greeted by staff/owner.
