Excellent stay

A great hotel offering a central base for Playa de las Americas and Cristianos, both offering restaurants, shops and bars galore to suit all tastes. The hotel is basic but is always clean, comfortable and has lovely helpful staff in reception and pool bar which is very popular.

Great hotel in a great location.

The Whala hotel is an excellent choice for couples, families and groups.The location is central for Americas and Christianos offering beaches and restaurants to suit all tastes. The hotel is welcoming with helpful staff in reception and the pool bar.We had a great stay and will be back in a few weeks.The rooms are always well cleaned and have good facilities for a comfortable stay.

Nice hotel with lovely staff

Stayed in Whala for our last night in Tenerife. Hotel offers value for money and has nice pool/bar area. Reception manager was extremely friendly and although we arrived 10:30 am he could offer us our room immediately. Then helped us out the next day with luggage. The rooms are a bit old so guess rennovation is needed. It was extremely warm during the night but we managed with fans in the ceiling, AC would have been preferred. But all in all we had a good stay.

Good value friendly hotel

Friendly service & a nice big room. Location was ideal as there's a bus stop directly outside the hotel so easy access to anywhere in the area including the airport.

Location is very good to me. Beach, shops, terraces, supermarket (big & small) and bus stop are close. Loved the pool area. Cleaning & Reception Services very good. I would love to come back!

Friendly staff, very clean and great location with supermarkets, bars and restaurants nearby and a short walk to the golden mile. Number 40 airport bus stop right outside the hotel.

Its basic and a decent option for the price. We did not have issues finding sunbeds or anything like that. Very few rowdy people either and the pool is big. Aircon needs to be rented Same with towels(u get money back) The biggest con is the hotel is old and in need of an upgrade. But if u are comfortable with something simple and a bit dated(but clean and nice personel) this is a good option

For what we paid the hotel is outstanding, the Guy on reception is super friendly and very knowledgeable about the local area,, he can’t do enough for you. The hotel is really relaxed about bringing your own drink etc to the pool. The pool bar is superb and very reasonable cost wise. The location is fantastic, especially if you’re on a budget, very clean and the water in the swimming pool is immensely clean and warm in the bottom pool! Those wanting to cool off chose the top pool. We will definitely come back every year as this part of Tenerife is fantastic

This apartment hotel was excellent. I do B&B and in my opinion the cleaning team are excellent. The desk staff were polite and helpful and available 24hrs per day. The hotel is 10 minutes easy walk the the beach and as a solo traveller I felt safe in the area. The apartment had a small kitchen area with crockery, cutlery, hob, microwave and sink. I would definitely stay there again and would recommend the place to anyone.

I got what I paid for. Wasn’t the best, but for the price was good enough for a few nights. However at night the bar under the hotel is very noisy until very late!

I came her by myself for a 6 day solo trip. After reading other reviews I was expecting loads of teenage groups and loud music all night long, but it honestly wasn’t that bad in my opinion. There were a lot of teenagers but I didn’t find them too annoying but I‘m also still young so that might be why they didn’t bother me. There was also some music at night but nothing you couldn’t ignore. Really liked the small apartment, lots of space, definitely too much for only one person but if you come here with a group I suppose it should be perfect. The pool area wasn’t super big but still very cute and enjoyable, with a little bar where you could get drinks and food. Staff was generally super nice and always willing to help, especially loved the people working at the bar!! So overall a really nice experience, probably a better fit for younger people though, unless you’re not easily bothered by noises and teenagers :)

LÀget bra, poolbarens personal fantastiskts. Receptionens personal 2 toppen trevliga 2 har lite att jobba pÄ. Mailade dem sÄ fort jag bokade detta hotell ( ca 4 mÄnader innan) om önskemÄl pÄ rum vÄning 2 eller 3 och Àven dÄ jag hade gjort tvÄ bokningar blev jag lovad att fÄ behÄlla rummet hela tiden. Rummet jag fick lÄg pÄ vÄning 1 , jag fick byta efter jag frÄgat i receptionen dagen efter och rummet som jag blev lovad via Mail att fÄ behÄlla hela vistelsen ( frÄgade Àven halvvÀgs in i resan ) och det skulle gÄ bra. Sen kom dagen dÄ den nya bokningen skulle börja och fick dÄ veta att jag skulle behöva byta rum trots allt. LÀgenheten som vi fick var toppen men tyvÀrr förtogs det av utcheckning och sendan en vÀntan pÄ 2 timmar innan vi fick den nya lÀgenheten. Och mitt i detta har min dotter fÄtt lunginflammation. Ingens fel sÄklart men det hade sparat orken med en flytt mindre.

Je n’ai pas pour habitude de donner des notes mais cette fois ci je me permets de le faire car l’hĂŽtel est affreusement bruyant pour les raisons suivantes : rue passante et mauvaise isolation, voisins bruyants (musique forte, discussion toute la nuit sur les balcons, portes claquĂ©es jour et nuit, nombreux bus dans la rue
). Il y en a mĂȘme qui se permette de sonner Ă  la chambre la nuit. Autres inconvĂ©nients : - absence de climatisation et du fait du bruit il est impossible de dormir la fenĂȘtre ouverte. - piscine et bar ferment beaucoup trop tĂŽt (19h), ce qui me parait trop tĂŽt lorsque l’on est en vacances. - propretĂ© moyenne : rat dans le couloir (2 fois) et changement des draps trop rare quand on est Ă  la mer (on ramĂšne du sable). Gros point positif : le personnel est trĂšs agrĂ©able, trĂšs sympathique et trĂšs serviable ce qui est trĂšs plaisant.

Grande dĂ©ception!!!J'ai pris une demie pensions Ă  ma grande surprise en arrivant on m'annonce que il n'y avait pas de repas servi le soir! le petit-dĂ©jeuner trĂšs gras,ont avez pas grand choix. Le responsable de le hĂŽtel m'a dit que expĂ©dia Ă©tait informĂ©! Jusqu’à prĂ©sent aucun remboursement,aucun mail pour m’informez de la situation.j'avais un vol aĂ©roport nord,alors que le hĂŽtel se trouve a 15m de le aĂ©roport sud. (pas trĂšs logique) J'attends le remboursement de ma demie pension.
