We loved our time at this property!! The house was beautiful and massive plenty of space for everyone and fantastic location right on the beach. Would highly recommend staying here!!
We came up from Melbourne to meet another family. The house was perfect for two families with loads of room and seperate areas. The house was well stocked
Lovely property in fantastic location. We were just a little disappointed with the standard of cleaning as the windows were dirty, kitchen bench sticky, oven needs clean and cobwebs in some of the rooms. Overall a great place to stay as very comfortable but just needs a little tlc.

Andrea, you mentioned the kitchen bench, it has now been completely sanded and refinished to ensure it is not sticky any more, actually the cleaner cleans immaculately you will find. Being 50m from the beach, the windows can get salt spray within a day or two. They are hosed off between every stay. If there are any issues next time, please call as requested and we will fix immediately. You were a lovely guest and we hope we will see you again.
Good in all departments except laundry room in main house is not an actual laundry- it needs a washing machine and dryer. Washing machine is in outside shed room but no dryer.

Hi Bradley
Yes the washing machine is in the large, well-appointed studio. There’s a full-size clothes line to hang towels etc and an internal line if it’s raining.
We rarely have anyone actually use the laundry for weekends but even then if there’s any need or issues please be in touch and we will assist.

"Morning Martin and Virginia,
Thank you for allowing us to share your home, it was absolutely perfect for our gathering.
The beds were clean and comfy and everyone was well rested.
I hope you were happy with the way we left your home and hope we will be welcomed back in the near future as we had a wonderful weekend."

Property photo's don't really live up to the property however had a great time
Little things could improve this property, its a lovely house and a great location but tiered and needs some TLC - making sure there are matches available. kitchen organized better, taking away chipped glasses, and updating blinds and curtains would make a big difference.

Sherry-Ann, the house is recently renovated so the blinds, curtains etc are not more than two years old. Sorry the matches were in the cupboard, put away as the fireplace is not used much in summer but always ask and we will give a quick reply. We're disappointed that your experience was not perfect, as other guests are very happy with the Beach House. We will be in touch to follow up.
Excellent choice for a sibling reunion, the house had a great atmosphere and the village of Catherine Hill Bay is well worth visiting. Thanks to the hosts for presenting a clean, well-set-up and charming house!

Louise, thanks for being such a lovely guest, please be in touch for a discounted second stay.
The property was spacious and comfortable, with four bedrooms, a studio and a large garden. We enjoyed walking along the beach across the road, riding our bikes, and a drink at the 'Catho.' Martin tried very hard to get the internet working the one day that it didn't, due to what turned out to be a local outage. We could never get the oven to work despite the available instructions and some assistance from our helpful neighbour, who is also the property manager. A comfortable, spacious home.

Thanks Barbara, the oven did work but it was very complex electronics and hard to understand for many guests, so we have replaced it with a new one.
We had such a lovely week at Catherine Hill Bay and would definitely stay here again. The house fitted us all perfectly (family of 6), it had a very well equiped kitchen and the hosts were very accommodating with our last minute request which we really appreciated. Thank you!
Location was fantastic. Great area and terrific location to the beach. Lovely big back yard. Excellent balcony upstairs with a good view of the beach
Really spacious for 3 couples
Well equipped kitchen
The property does need some TLC. Broken blinds, door handles falling off, windows unable to open, dirty carpets and marks on walls, dirty windows. We did find it grubby
One shower between six - not so great
Having said all that we did like it. It was well Priced and all about the location- just needs a good freshen up

Julie,
Just to be sure we will meet the needs of the most discerning guests, we took your concerns seriously knowing that this is the end of a busy three summer months for the house. We have replaced the carpets and blinds, repaired any issues, painted sections, renewed some furniture etc as a mini reno for the house.
Brilliantly positioned just across the beach. This large home was very comfortable for two families by utilising the studio out the back as well. The beds were comfortable and the house was well appointed. It is an older property and some areas are a little tired but it was fine for a beach house. There is no air-conditioning in the main house and many windows/doors do not have flyscreens so in order to get a cooling breeze the mozzies are horrendous. The house either needs flyscreens or air-conditioning. Otherwise a great place to stay.
Beautiful location and so close to a lovely beach. Lots of places to drive too for something to eat or a picnic. There are lots of mozzies so bring your own repellent! Martin and Virginia were very quick to respond to any of my questions and the neighbour John was lovely and even put the bins out for us!
The home was positioned beautifully and so close to many amazing walks. The upstairs balcony was a perfect way to end each day.
