Although it was charming, it is a misnomer to call it a cottage. Actually, it was a stand-alone hotel room. There were no cooking facilities other than a small microwave, and dishes had to be washed in the bathroom sink. The shower was in a slip-n-slide bathtub with no assist bars. The bed, however, was very comfortable. The owners were very responding to our questions and needs.

This was a pleasant accommodation in Ft. Davis, but nothing special, really, for the price. It was nice to have our own small cottage, but it was in need of a little updating. We happened to be there on Monday and Tuesday nights when basically no restaurants (save one) were open, so we had to kind of savage for meals. There is a decent market, which was helpful. I doubt we’d stay there again if in the area.
