Great hotel, awful check in

This was the second time we stayed at the FREIgeist north. It is a beautiful hotel and Appartment complex, breakfast is great, parking underneath the hotel and very beautifully designed (former Sartorius location where I worked for many years). However the check in was awful and a very bad start into our Germany trip. We felt not like paying guests but rather given a chance to stay at the FREIgeist. It was a complex and diminishing, arrogant experience.

Newly developed quiet and clean neighborhood. Simple but high quality modern, innovative design. Comfortable mattress. Adequate appliances. (You can't ask for more, but it would be great if there were lace curtains too in addition to the already equipped blackout curtains.)

Utmärkt hotell/lägenhetshotell. Dock en bit utanför stadskärnan. Fräscha rum, trevlig personal som snabbt fixade en liten miss. Väldigt bra frukost.

Vilodag under körning Frankrike till Sverige, passar detta bekväma och prisvärda boende halvvägs utmärkt. Göttingen en intresserant gammal universitets stad med många namnkunniga forskare som verkat här. Stadsmuseet var dock stängt denna regniga lördag. Däremot blev morgonkaffet på det välkända konditoriet Cron+Lantz en fin återblick.

Sehr schöne Unterkunft. Der einzige Nachteil war die nicht funktionierende Klimaanlage, da man das Fenster aufgrund des Strassenlärms nicht öffnen konnte. Unbedingt Zimmer nach hinten nehmen

Wir waren für eine Nacht hier und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Auch das Frühstück, wenn auch ein bisschen teurer, war sehr lecker. Es gab frisch gepressten Orangensaft, Roastbeef, neben all den anderen Speisen. Wer gerne Obst mit Joghurt/ Quark usw. isst, kommt mit frischem Obst, Himbeer- und Mangopürree und all den vielen Topings auf seine Kosten. Man konnte sich auch Sachen zusätzlich an den Tisch bestellen, haben wir aber aufgrund der großen Auswahl gar nicht gemacht.

Mit Einschränkungen gut.

Positiv: Geschmackvolle Einrichtung, sehr schönes Bad, Küche mit Kühlschrank. Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit Balkon. Sehr geräumig. Schönes Ambiente, tolle Farbgestaltung. Negativ: keine Klimaanlage, weiche Matratzen, Frühstück viel zu teuer, daher nicht gebucht. Parken kostet 15 Euro. Sehr hoher Geräuschpegel im Innenhof und auf dem Flur bis spät nachts inkl. Essengerüchen. In der Lobby feiern abends fremde Menschen, d. H. keine Hotelgäste. Auf dem Sofa in der Lobby übernachtet ein Obdachloser. Hier fehlen Kontrollen.
