Pyrgos Plakias Villa Tessera is a magnificent two-bedroom villa offering an extraordinary view of the mysterious Libyan Sea. This elegant rural villa provides a stunning vista of the Libyan Sea, giving visitors the impression that Africa is just a few miles away. Additionally, there's a magnificent view of the famous village of Plakias, and nothing stands between you and the infinite blue sea in the southern part of Crete.



Perched on a hillside, this villa's privileged location is sure to appeal to every visitor seeking breathtaking sea views and relaxation. It's conveniently located just 1.5 km from the renowned sandy beach of Plakias. The interior decor is simple and minimalistic, while the exterior areas offer high comfort. The villa is visually pleasing from all angles, whether you're relaxing in the living room or by the pool area, where you'll never tire of watching the blue of the southern sea and the romantic sunset.



This brand-new, one-floor villa can accommodate up to 5 people. As you enter the villa, you'll find a spacious open-plan area consisting of the living room, indoor dining area, and a fully equipped kitchen with top-quality fixtures and appliances. The living room area has direct access to the veranda and the pool area. The villa features two bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other with two single beds. There are two bathrooms with showers and a washing machine. All bedrooms are equipped with individually controlled air conditioning and flat-screen TVs.



Next to this villa, there are three more identical two-bedroom villas, each offering complete privacy and sea views, with the capacity to accommodate up to 5 guests. When all four villas are rented together, special prices apply, accommodating up to 20 guests in total. The villa is licensed by the National Tourism Organization.



The Area:

The surrounding area is blessed with some of the best beaches in Crete. The nearby famous beach of Preveli, with its palm forest, and Damnoni are just two of the many unique choices. Majestic gorges, historical sites, and cultural attractions can also be found in the vicinity.



The nearby village of Plakias is a picturesque village with a wealth of tourist attractions, located just a few kilometers from Rethymno. It offers many taverns, restaurants, bars, mini markets, car rental agencies, and outdoor activity providers.

Very clean, well presented and very well equipped property. Excellent cleaning. Stunning views. Minor issue over WiFi resolved as quickly as possible by the owner who was attentive and very helpful. Road up to property will need some work in the future.

Beautiful villa with an amazing view!

We had the best time staying at this property. 5 stars all the way!! The only 2 things that I would change are the comfort of the bed (it was very hard), and switching the two twin beds from the master bedroom with the view & bathroom with the larger bed that was in the back bedroom. We just ended up sleeping in the back bedroom with the larger bed. We still enjoyed our time nonetheless. I hate to even mention these two things because they were so minuscule in the grand scheme. So beautiful and lovely!!!

Beautiful Views

Great outdoor area with multiple seating areas. Views to the sea are amazing! Infinity pool was very nice and kept clean throughout our stay. Inside was very clean, kitchen had all we needed to cook simple meals. Trash was removed daily. Very private unit. Location was close to town, but not walking distance. Last .5 miles is on a steep rocky road. Was not a problem for our small car. Only two issues…first was large black ants in the primary bathroom. Notified the management company who apologized for the inconvenience, but no action was taken. Second, the beds are rock hard and feel like there are springs poking you. I would absolutely stay here again, but the mattresses need upgraded or memory foam toppers need to be added.

The villa is set in a beautiful location overlooking the bay. A car is definitely needed as it is a long, steep walk otherwise. The villa was spotless on arrival and housekeeping came twice during our 10 day stay leaving it very clean and tidy with change of sheets and towels on both occasions. It was a perfect escape for a couple or two couples - Not particularly suitable for children due to location. Communication with the host from initial contact was excellent and very easy and they updated on us on specific things whilst we we were there to make our stay more enjoyable. Check in was very simple - a key was left for us, so no need to arrange a meet with the host. Lots of lovely places to visit nearby, stunning beaches and great tavernas. Several mountain villages within 15 minutes drive offering beautiful sunset views and food.

Ein toller Urlaub in Plakias

Gut gefallen hat uns wie immer die Lage mit der tollen Aussicht. Die Terrasse mit dem Schatten der Bäume und natürlich der Pool. Aber auch das freundliche Personal. Die Zufahrt wird immer schlechter und fordert so manchen Autofahrer und Fahrzeug. Die Innenrolos klappern schon bei leichtem Wind. Das stört besonders nachts. Mann muss dann mit geschlossenem Fenster schlafen. Sonst kann man nicht schlafen.

un endroit à couper le souffle

Nous avons passé une semaine dans cette villa. La vue à 180 degrés sur la mer de lybie est juste à couper le souffle. La villa est en hauteur et pas très loin du littoral, il faut compter 10mn en voiture pour rejoindre Plakias, ce qui est juste parfait. Concernant la villa, elle est de très bon standing, la piscine à débordement est nettoyée tous les jours. Au final le rapport qualité / prix est plus que convenable, et le service de réservation est très réactif. Bref, on vous recommande cette villa paradisiaque. Camille et Laurent

Was für ein toller Ort

Wir haben eine Woche in der Villa Pyrgos 4 verbracht. Die Kommunikation mit der Agentur lief von Anfang an reibungslos. Das Haus selbst liegt oberhalb von Plakias und bietet einen sensationellen Blick auf das Meer und die Bucht von Plakias. Das Haus war bei unserer Ankunft gut vorbereitet. Richtig sauber war der Boden jedoch nicht - dafür dann umso besser bei der ersten Zwischenreinigung, bei der sogar die Handtücher gewechselt wurden. Leider fehlten die im Inserat gezeigten Loungesessel und die Holzliegen sind in einem desolaten Zustand. Da sind teilweise die Schrauben nicht mehr fest und sie wackeln ohne Ende. Aber das ist jetzt jammern auf hohem Niveau, denn das konnte der Schönheit des restlichen Objektes nichts anhaben. Man hat seine totale Privatsphäre, keiner kann den terassenbereich einsehen. Es gibt reichlich Geschirr und Gläser und auch sonst ist das Haus sehr stimmig eingerichtet. Es war eine tolle Zeit im Pyrgos 4!

Plakias, ein traumhafter Blick

Die Unterkunft ist sehr schön, hat einen traumhaften Blick auf die Bucht von Plakias ist allerdings nur mit dem Auto zu erreichen. Ansonsten ist alles da, was man zu einem entspannten Urlaub braucht!

Schönes Haus mit traumhaften Blick

Die Lage und der Blick des Hauses ist umwerfend. Das Haus selber ist sauber und mit allem ausreichend ausgestattet. Aufgrund der etwas abgelegenen ( dafür ruhigen) Lage ist ein Auto unbedingt notwendig. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Unglaublich schön

Die Umgebung: Eine wundervolle Aussicht von der Terrasse. Wir haben es erst nicht glauben wollen und dachten die Bilder würden geschickt die Umgebung kaschieren, dem ist jedoch nicht so. Die vier Ferienwohnungen liegen abgeschieden zur übrigen Zivilisation. Für uns war es so perfekt für eine ruhige Auszeit in den Osterferien! Die 4 nebeneinanderliegenden Appartements sind durch einen Sichtschutz oder/und genügend Abstand komplett voneinander getrennt - Die Privatsphäre ist einem also sicher. Ausstattung: Die Ferienwohnung hat einen guten Kühl- und Gefrierschrank, eine moderne Wohnküche, zwei Schlafzimmer und zwei schöne Bäder mit Regenwaldduschen. Sowohl innen als auch außen kann man es sich mit 2 bis 4 Personen gemütlich machen (es gibt sogar Sitzgelegenheiten für bis zu 6 Personen). Die 2 Schlafzimmer haben jeweils einen Fernseher und auf den Betten liegen gute Matratzen! Wir haben nicht ferngesehen, deshalb können wir nichts zur Programmauswahl sagen. Die Wohnküche hat einen großen Tisch für bis zu 6 Personen und ein kleines Sofa auf dem man es sich gut zu zweit gemütlich machen kann. Das moderne und gepflegte Interieur trifft auf die rustikale mediterane Wandstruktur des Hauses und gibt dem Ganzen einen netten, gemütlichen Flair. Sauberkeit: Da das Haus von Natur umgeben ist, sind natürlich auch ab und zu kleine Insekten im Haus. Das Aufkommen war jedoch sehr gering. Außerdem gibt es, wie im Hotel, einen täglichen Reinigungsdienst der sowohl Bettwäsche, Handtücher und Fußböden und sogar den Abwasch, den Pool und die Außenbereiche reinigt. Dadurch ist es immer sehr sauber im und um das Haus ist. Preis/Leistung: Wir waren das erste Mal auf Kreta und dazu in den Osterferien, also nicht in der Hauptsaison. Das Appartement war trotzdem für die von anderen Inseln gewohnten Verhältnisse sehr günstig! "Allein für die Aussicht hätte man doppelte verlangen können!", haben wir uns schon am ersten Tag gesagt, bevor wir vom täglichen 'Zimmerservice' wussten. Eine wirklich sehr schöne Ferienwohnung!

Fantastic place

This was a great place. Absolutely fantastic. The four of us spent a week there. The place looks better than on the pictures. It is quiet, clean, functional, the rooms are nice, the garden has plenty of shade, the views is magnificent, the little pool refreshing, the host is great, beaches and small family restaurants are a short drive away... Yes it is a bit hard to get to, but google maps worked just fine. The hosts did not leave absolutely anything in the house in terms of provisions when we arrived, not even a bottle of water, that was a bummer, but everything else was so perfect that they still get a 5-star review.

Fantastisch!!!

Wir waren für 1 Woche zu dritt in dieser wunderschönen Ferienwohnung. Sie ist sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Laut Besitzer waren wir erst die zweiten Gäste......es ist alles noch sehr neu, was man auch sehen konnte. Anfahrt: durch die Koordinaten und die guten Unterlagen zur Anfahrt haben wir die Wohnung gut gefunden, obwohl sie etwas abseits liegt. Vorsicht: das Navi hat uns zuerst falsch geleitet. Von Norden kommend nicht bei"Pyrgos Exclusiv" links abfahren, sondern noch der Straße weiter Richtung Plakias folgen und erst die nächste Möglichkeit nach links dem Schild "Pyrgos Studios" folgen. Das letzte Stück der Straße zu den Studios ist nicht ausgebaut, sehr staubig und nur sehr langsam befahrbar. Um zu der Wohnung zu kommen ist auf jedenfall ein Auto nötig. Es gibt bei den Studios Parkplatz für 4 Autos. Lage: die Wohnung liegt am Hang, sehr ruhig mit wunderschönem Blick auf das Meer und den Fischerei Hafen von Plakias. Von der Terrasse und dem Pool aus kann man sich stundenlang an diesem traumhaft schönen Blick erfreuen! Ausstattung: es gibt eine kleine Spülmaschine aber eigentlich nicht genug Geschirr um diese zu benutzen. Wir haben immer von Hand abgespült, Spülmittel ist vorhanden aber Geschirrtücher sollte man mitbringen. Ceranfeld und extra Backofen sind vorhanden, auch eine Mikrowelle, Kaffeemaschine, Wasserkocher, Saftpresse. Minimalausstattung mit Geschirr, Besteck, Töpfen, ect. Handtücher gibt es reichlich und sie werden auch bei Bedarf regelmäßig gewechselt. Der Besitzer kam jeden morgen kurz vorbei und hat den "Poolreinigungsroboter" aktiviert. Die Wohnung und die Terrasse werden täglich gereinigt, wenn man dies möchte. Der einzige Nachteil der Terrassen Reinigung ist, dass danach viele Wasserpfützen in den Vertiefungen der Natursteine stehen bleiben. Es gibt noch eine Waschmaschine, allerdings ist sie so eingebaut, dass man nur sehr schwer das Waschpulver einfüllen kann.....also besser das Waschmittel direkt in die Trommel geben. Auf der Terrasse gibt es 4 Liegestühle mit weicher Auflage und zwei Sitzsäcke. Außerdem einen schönen Platz mit Tisch und fünf Stühlen um im Freien essen zu können. Der Pool ist so tief, dass man gerade noch stehen kann.....für Familien mit kleinen Kindern ist es vielleicht zu gefährlich weil der Pool offen ist. Ansonsten ist diese Wohnung für 4 Personen sehr gut geeignet und wirklich ein Traum!!!!
