This magnificent two-bedroom villa offers an extraordinary view of the mysterious Libyan Sea. From the moment you step inside, you'll be captivated by the impression that Africa is just a few miles away. The villa also boasts a stunning view of the famous village of Plakias, and there's nothing between you and the infinite blue expanse of the southern part of Crete.



Situated on a hillside, this villa's privileged location is perfect for any visitor seeking breathtaking sea views and relaxation. It's conveniently located just 1.5 km from the renowned sandy beach of Plakias. The interior decor is simple and minimalistic, while the exterior areas offer a high level of comfort. The villa is visually appealing from every angle, whether you're relaxing in the living room or by the pool area, where you'll never tire of watching the blue of the southern sea and the romantic sunset.



This brand new, one-floor villa accommodates up to 5 people. As you enter, you'll find a spacious open-plan area consisting of the living room, the indoor dining area, and a fully equipped kitchen with top-quality fixtures and appliances. The living room area has direct access to the veranda and the pool area. The villa features two bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other with two single beds. There's also a bathroom with a shower and a washing machine. All bedrooms are equipped with individually controlled air conditioning and flat-screen TVs.



When it comes to beautiful beaches, the area is privileged with some of the best in Crete. The nearby famous beach of Preveli, with its palm forest, and Damnoni, are just two of the many unique choices. Majestic gorges and numerous historical and cultural sites can also be found in the vicinity.



The nearby village of Plakias is a picturesque village with a wide range of tourist attractions and is located just a few kilometers from Rethymno. It offers many taverns, restaurants, bars, mini markets, car rental agencies, and outdoor activity providers.



Next to this villa, there are two more identical two-bedroom villas, each with complete privacy, sea views, and the capacity to accommodate up to 5 guests. When all three villas are rented together, special prices apply, accommodating up to 15 guests in total. The villa is licensed by the National Tourism Organization.

Very Good Stay

Enjoyed the whole stay view is amazing, only down points was that the pool light was broken and still after reporting it was not fixed. Second would be the kitchen, all clean but very used.

Stunning Views, wonderful Villa

Fabulous villa, stunning position overlooking Plakias. The villa was set on the hillside, 10 minutes drive from Plakias, and10 minutes from Selia, the mountain village. Superb restaurants in both. The villa was well appointed, well equipped, and spotlessly clean. Stella was a wonderful host, cleaning the villa daily and was very helpful with anything that you needed. The little garden and pool were attended to regularly. We loved this villa and would recommend to other travellers.

Fantastic!

Great location, amazing view, very comfortable. We especially appreciated the air-conditioning! It's only a five-minute drive to Plakias and there is so much to see in the area. I would highly recommend this villa, or rather one of the three, which are next to each other but still quite private. We specifically asked for the one "nearest to Plakias", which has uninterrupted views of the bay. That's known as "Villa Ena" (Villa One), though its actual name is "Villa Rea". Stella and her son Ioannis were on hand whenever required and were very friendly and helpful but never intrusive. We didn't expect to have the bed sheets and towels changed every couple of days! Overall, I would highly recommend these three villas.

Attractive villa,clean,super views- spoiled by poor response to problems and dirty pool.

Positives- property spacious and overlooked magnificent coastal scenery, reached by unpaved track along steep hillside. Car required. Plakias and Sellia in easy reach. Negatives- pool remained murky and green fringed. Robot cleaner stirring up dirt rather than removing it. When the roof leaked and villa suffered water ingress, a clear offer of appropriate alternative accommodation was not received until many hours later. However it is beautiful so go now before they develop the area further and go early in the season for a cleaner pool.

Atemberaubender Ausblick

Der Ausblick war atemberaubend und das Haus für vier Personen völlig ausreichend. Einzig die Kochutensilien könnten zahlreicher sein. Das Reinigungspersonal war sehr freundlich und diskret. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder.

Tolle Aussicht

Die Ruhe, zwei gleichwertige Schlafzimmer und die grandiose Aussicht In der Ausschreibung werden deutsche Fernsehprogramme angekündigt. Es gab nur griechisches Fernsehen. In einem Schlafzimmer war der Fern nicht angeschlossen. Es fehlt der Mückenschutz der Schlafzimmerfenster und beim Wohnzimmer. Die Toilettenspülung ist es defekt. Ein Liegestuhl war defekt. Insgesamt kommt die Anlage " in die Jahre". Es wäre hilfreich, wenn das Reinigungspersonal etwas Englisch sprechen würde. Man könnte dann die Dinge vor Ort klären.

Wunderbarer Ausblick

Die Terrasse mit dem kleinen Pool, Liegen und dem überdachten Esstisch waren wunderbar, wir konnten uns gar nicht vom Ausblick lösen. Die Inneneinrichtung ist zweckmäßig, die Ausstattung der Küche wäre noch steigerungsfähig. Matratzen waren sehr gut. Einmal in der Woche gab es ein Reinigungsservice und Wäschwechsel. Einziger Verbesserungsvorschlag: Strom wird wie bei einem Hotelzimmer mit einer Karte aktiviert, das bedeutet dass beim Verlassen des Hauses Geschirrspüler oder Waschmaschine nicht weiter arbeiten - dies wäre sicher anders lösbar. Die Zufahrtsstraße ist auf dem letzten Stück ein Schotterweg, Entfernung nach Plakias mit dem Auto unter 8 Min. Alles in allem ein wunderschöner Urlaub, wir kommen gerne wieder.

Super schönes und sauberes Haus mit Meeresblick

Wir hatten einen sehr schönen und ruhigen Aufenthalt in der super sauberen Villa. Der Blick war ein Traum und die leichte Briese war sehr angenehm. Es waren genügend Handtücher zum Duschen und für den Pool vorhanden Der Weg zum Haus ist etwas beschwerlich, da Schotterpiste und nicht einfach zu finden. Auch ist die Küche Ausstattung etwas spärlich.

Fantastic place

Wunderbares Haus, tolle Lage. Sehr netter Verwalter und Team. Wir hatten einen tollen Urlaub (14 Tage) und haben es sehr genossen. Auto ist ein MUSS ! Die grosszügige Terasse, der schöne Pool (täglich gereinigt) und die Aussenküche mit BBQ waren unsere Lieblingsplätze :-)

Modern, comfortable villa with fantastic views over the Libyan Sea and Plakias - very helpful staff

Ideal villa for 2-4 people, in a cluster of three. Very private (apart from Yannis and others popping round to clean the pool). Well-maintained and kept clean through daily housekeeping. Fives minutes drive down a steep hill from Plakias, which offers numerous restaurants and shops and supermarkets. Photos on the website don't do the villa or pool justice as both are much larger in reality. Would not recommend arriving in the dark as the last 500-meter-drive up to the villa is bumpy and off-road. Parking is limited so try to rent a small car. The unsprung beds were a little hard for our liking but overall the villa offered everything we needed for a relaxing and scenic holiday. Whilst at times rather windy, on hot days this provided welcome cooling. We had a super stay and would love to come back next year.

Atemberaubende Aussicht!

Wir haben einen wundervollen und sehr erholsamen Urlaub in dieser Villa verbracht. Die Aussicht auf das Meer ist fantastisch und wir konnten uns an diesem Ausblick gar nicht sattsehen. Aus allen Zimmern der Villa geniesst man Meerblick. Das Haus ist gut ausgestattet und wird von Stella und ihrem Team mit Hingabe gepflegt. Der Pool wird täglich gereinigt, Hand- und Badetücher werden ebenfalls regelmässig ausgewechselt. Der Standort der Villa ist perfekt, sehr ruhig und mitten in der Natur gelegen, trotzdem erreicht man mit dem Mietauto in kürzester Zeit Plakias für die täglichen Einkäufe oder die verschiedenen nahegelegenen Stränden. Wir haben Stellas und Yiannis Herzlichkeit sehr geschätzt und haben uns vom ersten Tag an willkommen gefühlt, vielen Dank! Die Kommunikation per Mail mit Oreo Travel hat auch jederzeit bestens funktioniert und wir haben immer schnell Antwort erhalten. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen und können die Ferienvilla bestens empfehlen.

Nous avons séjourné dans cette récente et magnifique villa, début Juin 2016. Une vue à couper le souffle sur la mer de Lybie, un calme exceptionnel malgré la présence de 2 autres villas identiques. Dès notre arrivée, nous nous sommes sentis chez nous. Grands espaces intérieurs et extérieurs, grande propreté, rien ne manque. Piscine très propre et très agréable. Tout est prévu pour rendre le séjour agréable. Bref, l' excellence !!!!!! Merci à Stella et Ioannis. Nous recommandons cette location sans aucune hésitation.
