This condo has a "WOW" view factor! Enjoy this beautiful 2 bedroom 2 bathroom gulf/beach front condo on Madeira Beach Florida. The master has a king size bed and flat screen TV and private full bathroom with shower stall. Have access to the balcony that has a beach front view with lounge chairs and table. The sunsets from the unit are just beautiful. The second bedroom has two twin beds and a TV. Just off the second bedroom is a full guest bathroom. Enjoy a fully furnished kitchen with a view of the ocean. The kitchen has an opening to the dining area. There is a laundry closet with full size washer and dryer. The living area has a 42 inch flat screen tv and a leather sofa with two other chairs. Pastel colors and beach decor complete the unit. Wifi and a reserved parking space just adds to the amenities of this unit.
The building offers use of a swimming pool which is heated year round. There are lounge chairs available for use along with several picnic tables. An outside shower is available to wash any sand away before enjoying the pool. An advantage to Kima is the pool and patio area have a view of the ocean and you can enjoy sunsets every night.
John's Pass Village, a fun shopping, dining and water sport rental area is one mile down Gulf Boulevard. You can walk down to John's Pass from the beach side and enjoy dinner or a drink from one of the many restaurants and take Uber back to the condo, its fun! There are so many other things to do in the area or just relax on the beach. We try to honor guest request for a specific unit but can not guarantee.

Great stay!

We had a wonderful time in Madiera Beach! The property was exactly as described and we loved being so close to the water! The corner balcony was a nice plus! Would definitely stay here again!

Awesome view!

Very nice place. The view and sunsets were priceless. Spacious and quiet being on the ocean front. The pool and pool area was very nice also. Restaurants and shopping close by. Nicely kept grounds and beach. Will stay again!

This is THE place to stay in Madeira Beach!

This beautiful condo is beautiful and has amazing views. It is close to John's Pass and several good restaurants. Also, it's only a few miles away from our favorite restaurant, the Columbia! The owner is very responsive by text or thru the VRBO site. I can't recommend this condo enough!!

Very relaxing

My stay was for rest and relaxation and I was very pleased with the place and the time of year I knew we'd have some rain, but it was great. Plenty to do close by at John's Pass. Took a half day fishing trip at Hubbard's Marina and brought home a nice catch for dinner. Very much enjoyed the staycation.

Great having the three sliding doors for awesome views and sunlight. Condo had everything we needed. Loved the seashell decor. Would love it come back next year. No issues with renting property.

Girls Trip

We had a great stay at Kima Condominiums. The room was clean and spacious, the front bedroom bed was very comfortable but the girls said the other beds were not very comfortable but still worth staying. The view was amazing with a wrap around balcony. The property and surroundings was very quiet. We really enjoyed the clean heated pool. We would go back to this location.

Relaxing and much needed beach vacation

This is a great unit with a spectacular balcony right over the beach looking directly into the beautiful gulf. Centrally located to walk or take free public transportation in either direction. Beach directly below the unit isn’t busy at all. The unit is big, comfortable and clean. It had everything we needed in it. We will definitely be renting this exact unit again in the future!

Great location and fantastic beach view!

We had a very nice vacation, condo had everything we needed and loved the beach front! The corner unit was awesome with the walk around outside balcony. The kitchen was more than fully equipped which was appreciated. Within walking distance of restaurants, coffee shops and shopping. The trolley stop was about 20 feet in front of the building and a Speedway is right across the street. The pool was nice sized and very clean. A couple small things could be updated inside, but we would definitely stay here again.

So Close to the Water!!!

You will see many reviews of the interior of this condo. I say Who Cares!! It is clean and SO CLOSE TO THE WATER!!! Just remember you are on vacation and it is a time to relax. I was disappointed with the trolley/buses increasing their pricing, but we all feel that pinch. Overall great location and again so close to the water. Thanks for letting us stay.

Spectacular Views!

I was immediately impressed by the stunning views from the living room and balcony. The bed was comfy and there was even a box fan which was an added bonus. The location of this property is so convenient for shopping, food and fun. Not to mention it’s only steps away from the water. My only complaints are the master bedroom needed more light as only one lamp worked, there was absolutely nothing for the beach (we bought chairs & umbrella and left them behind for future renters to use), and there was quite a bit of dust on furniture and headboard. I’d recommend this property and would revisit in the future.

Escape From Winter

Great spot on the beach. This place has everything you need for a great vacation. Walking distance to most places. Love the wrap around balcony. The condo was clean and comfy. The weather for this time of year (2/27-3/6) is still a little iffy and the pool was a little cool. So, when we do come back it will be 1 or 2 weeks later. We were lucky to have only 1 bad weather day. I sure wish we could book one of these places for 10 days, but most only do Sat to Sat. 1 week is just not enough. Lots of really good restaurants in the area and the beach is just great. Great sunset views. The owner, Charles, was easy to contact and easy to work with.

Stay in Madeira Beach - Kima 406

The condo was in the perfect location. Steps from the beach and in walking distance to restaurants and stores. We loved the wrap around balcony and the view from the balcony. If you are looking for luxury, this is not the place for you but if you are looking for a place sleep which is close to the beach then this place is perfect. The condo needs some maintenance done. The bathtub was leaking onto the floor when you took a shower, the shower head in the other bathroom was dirty and needs to be replaced, the laundry room was dirty. A major complaint is that the filter for the air conditioning unit was filthy. While I was there I developed a bad sinus infection probably from the dirty air circulating in the condo. It would have been nice if there were beach chairs available to use and a cooler. Overall the condo served its purpose.

Good review . We are value priced condos where rent is reasonable & families can use savings to feed their family. Good cleaners are hard to find. A/C filter was changed by maint once we were aware. Other items renter did not let us know or we would have send someone to handle. We have addressed those issues. It was nice renter enjoyed the beach and beach view. After all did they come for the famous Florida beaches or the condo. We do best we can in these difficult times.

Will not come Back

We were extremely disappointed with this place. It was very out dated and unclean. There were solo cups on the balcony, junk in the corner by the couch and could not turn cealing fans on because we were affraid to get hit with the caked on dirt. If this was not bad enough, when the bathroom sink clogged Charles was extremely rude to me. Literally yelled at me for no reason. This owner has multiple condos and it was widely known that they were not kept up and he was not great to work with. I hate writing a review like this but we spent a lot of money and were very disappointed. Stay Away.

We’re not surprised with this renters review. We also gave her a 1-2 stars. She is perhaps one of the worst renters we’ve ever had. Very demanding regardless of time day. She tried to get into her condo 3 hours before instructed -stoping the cleaners several time .Didn’t appear to monitor her children, was excessively messy. She never text about fans. Complaining about a sink stopper at 7:30 in a Sunday morning and then talking over when trying to explain plumbers don’t come out on Sundays. Very rude and even overheard by someone in her unit telling her to calm down because the issue could not be solved immediately. We have lowest prices for beachfront condos because they are a little dated , but clean. It’s all about being at the beach and having affordable property for families to enjoy.

Kima: was exactly what we were looking for for our escape from reality! Condo was well appointed with a beautiful balcony that we enjoyed having coffee and breakfast in the morning (watching the passing dolphins) , and cocktails in the evening while watching the beautiful Madeira beach sunset, Loved sleeping in the very comfortable king bed with the slider open to have the waves lull us to sleep. There were only the 2 of us, so only used the beachfront bedroom, but there was a second bedroom with 2 single beds and a separate bath which would be perfect for a family.. All rooms had flat screen TVs, the living room was well appointed with a leather sofa, recliner, and leather chair with ottoman. Again, never spent any time there as we were enjoying the balcony and gulf views too much. Kitchen was fully stocked with all the essentials we have back at home, while rarely needed, as we ate at several of the restaurants nearby. Also included was a fairly new washer and dryer off the kitchen, a couple of beach chairs, various beach toys, beach towels and a cooler. Also a hair dryer which (wasn’t mentioned in the amenities, need to cut down on that luggage weight). Condo .is close to restaurants within walking distance and a Publix grocery store 5 minutes away. The Speedway across the street bailed us out a couple of times for some last minute items as well. Condo also comes with a private parking spot under the building. Grounds are well maintained, and we ran into and spoke to the maintainence guy every day. We never had any contact with Chuck the owner, other than our original reservation, as there weren’t any issues. Pool area looked nice, but we never hung out there, as the gulf was 85 degrees. Am sure I’m missing several details, all positive, but bottom line, Kima was a perfect getaway and just what we were looking for. Can’t wait to go back!

Black Water Concerns!

This unit has a good floor plan, it is in a nice area, and a very lovely beach! The building is well maintained and has a great swimming pool. Lots of restaurants within walking distance and bus and trolley service is handy. However, it is very dated and many things need replaced. Our biggest concern was black water coming from the bathroom faucets. We contacted the property manager about the black water and he was not at all pleasant to deal with. We used bottled water during our stay! The owner/property manager’s remedy was for us to let him know if the black water issue happened again. He then proceeded to disparage where we live, why we would want to live there and then bad-mouthed our governor! We did not go on vacation to discuss politics with this guy! The sofa is completely definitely worn out and miserable to sit on. All cabinetry is dilapidated…cabinet doors don’t stay closed. The kitchen sink and faucet was leaking. The property manager immediately sent a plumber to fix the issue. It was determined the sink had a hole in it and would need to be replaced after our stay had concluded. The kitchen range is very old and the burners are uneven….one didn’t work at all. Cooking utensils and flatware are horrid! In such bad shape we wouldn’t use them…went to Wal-Mart and bought a cheap set to use while we were there. The bed linens are stained, dingy and old…need to be replaced. Towels are dingy and stained. Even after washing several times with bleach they were still pretty disgusting. The king mattress is lumpy and the headboard is not attached. When you turn over in bed the headboards bang up against the wall! In reading prior reviews about complaints about the unit, the owner’s response is “this rental is the cheapest price around.” We passed Charles in the common areas several times during our stay and he never spoke or acknowledged us.

Guest didnot follow instructions in rental info. This unit normally has 4-5 stars. Don’t think renter even wanted to come to Fla. They never sent a text about problems. Maint could not duplicate his dark water issue & couldn’t fix something that was working fine.. look at the review as they were not happy about anything. Guess giving a good value is not appreciated. Now they want to return in 2022. Can you believe. It’s because our prices are so good.

This is a wonderfully located property with a great pool, grounds, beach access. This was so perfect for our family's spring break escape. The beach is beautiful, the pool was warm and immaculately cleaned (we saw the pool cleaner and spoke to him twice the week we were there), the lobby area and elevator was cleaned daily (several times I would guess considering all the beach traffic and sand!). It is walking distance to so many great restaurants and St. John's Pass. Just an FYI, because I was wondering about this after I booked the condo....you can rent chairs, cabanas. and umbrellas on the beach each day and place them wherever you would like (we paid $15 per day for two nice lounge chairs on the beach right by the water). The beach is clean, very well patrolled day and night, and there is a very shallow (and kid friendly-also play friendly) entry into the water. We are frequent Siesta Key beach area visitors and this beach rivals Siesta Key Beach. There are two grocery stores (Winn Dixie and Publix) very close (driving) from the property. There is also a convenience store directly across the street. Parking for this condo was covered in a reserved spot near the elevator. It was very convenient. There were carts to take from the ground floor/garage to your condo if you have several things to transport. Again, the lobby area was very clean.The property is secure and safe. The lobby is locked and accessible by code and key. The pool area (including a restroom) and the beach area were both behind locked gates with keypad access. The condo was clean and had everything that we needed. Thanks to the renters prior to us for the things left behind:kitchen spices, beach toys, chairs, pool noodles... As per some other renter reviews, updates to the condo are a bit overdue. Some kitchen light cover cracks, older decor (but very comfortable-the beds and couch were very comfy), upgrades to kitchen utensils would be nice (minor, I know), and the vertical blinds tended to come out one by one as you closed the blinds (even slowly). All these things are simply minor details and were not at all a deal breaker, so to speak, on our stay. The washer and dryer were refreshingly full-sized appliances that did so well with beach towels, etc. There was a stocked game drawer. Extra clean linens were available and in the linen closet. The master closet was very large. No lack of drawer space jn either bedroom. We were comfortable and had a great time.

Great area, issues with condo

I have been a VRBO user for years, and this is my first negative review. The condo needs a deep cleaning and maintenance. When we first arrived at the condo, my toddler was crawling on the floor while we unpacked. After he crawled on a rug in the bedroom, his hands, feet, and legs were black with dirt, and he needed a bath. We cleaned the tub and shower before we would use them. At one point my kid wedged a book behind the couch, so we had to pull it out to retrieve it, and found it was very dirty behind furniture. The finish on the cabinets is peeling off. Some rooms look like they were painted in the dark. There is duct tape on the ceiling fan. There are big cracks in the hood they have covering the kitchen ceiling. On day 2 of our stay, the power went out, only in our unit, not the rest of the building or road. I had been running the oven and the clothes dryer. When I called the owner, it was evening, so he did not answer and I left a message. When he called me back the next day, he treated me in a very condescending and sexist manner. He explained that we needed to access the main breaker, which is outside of the unit. Then he told me to put my husband on the phone so he could walk him through it. (The condo was rented in my name, the owner and I had spoken previously to coordinate check-in, and I had given no indication of being unable to open a closet and flip a switch.) I told him he could walk me through it. He asked if it was because my husband wasn’t awake yet, and said my husband could just call him back. I said no, he is awake, but I can do this. As he talked me through it, he lamented, “I don’t normally have to explain this to ladies,” while also saying that the power has never gone out like this. (The oven clock was blinking when we arrived.) He also complained that the power goes out because women come in and run the hair dryer, iron, and vacuum at the same time, and then they don’t understand why the power goes out. Finally I flipped the main breaker, and power came back on. Power went out twice again toward the end of our trip, and I fixed it again by flipping the breaker. Normally I would have texted the owner, but I just didn’t want to talk to him again. We barely used the pool because it was closed for chemical use at some point every day when it was supposed to be open.

Wow - I think the lady’s review speaks for itself. Renter didn’t mention the savings in rent cause we are the lowest cost so struggling families can eat on the difference. We had to pay more for cleaning because of the way it was left. No rental facility has maint staff after normal hours. Their problems could not be duplicated . We prefer she would be happier somewhere else. Oh her husband was a great help when our maint staff had left

Kima Condos is a 30 unit building only 1 mile from famous John's Pass Village. HAS INTERNET/WIFI. The building has an elevator with 2 stairways. The POOL is seasonally heated and has chairs along with lounge chairs and concrete picnic tables. You can rinse off at at foot or full body shower outside. The private patio is only a few yards to the ocean.
Walk to restaurants like Dock Side Dates, the new Cafe de Bangkok, Daiquiri Shak and only one mile to famous Johns Pass Village. The property is so convenient to Winn Dixie Grocery, a mile away and Publix only 2 miles.

The Gulf of Mexico has beautiful white sand and warmer waters than the Atlantic. The Gulf gives you beautiful sunsets, great for photographs. The beach is wide enough to fly a kite, recline in the sun without the big crowds of narrow beaches. You can even enjoy the pool with an ocean view. We like to eat early so we don't miss the sunsets which is the best time to be on the beach. Hearing the waves break from the private balcony is very relaxing and there is also the view of the bay from the front door entrance to enjoy. We will try to honor your request for a specific unit but we can not guarantee it. All Kima Condos face the gulf/beach and are 2BD/2BTH with the same floor plan and amenities. The pool has gated entrance and many lounge and chairs to enjoy the sun. Kima is one of the best condos on Madeira Beach. Has internet/wifi.
