Hikers, mountain lovers and cyclists and will appreciate the location: 21 miles from Asheville Airport, close to Pisgah National Forest and DuPont State Forest, only 5 miles to downtown Brevard.
This cabin will delight you by a bathtub in the master bedroom, covered porch, fish pond and a little waterfall which you can look through dinning table. This cabin sleeps regularly 10, with 1 king, 1queen bed and 2 youth beds, 1 full, 1 futon (you can also add 1-2 more air mattress in the common area) .

The space
Entire upstair (2394 sf） is available for guests, the basement is for the landlord.
**3 bedroom, two full baths. NOW with one KING BEDROOM, one QUEEN bedroom and two-twin bedroom! Two air mattress are available. Sleeps up to 9 people.**
Standard rate is for 6 people. Each additional will add $40/person/day.
Fully equipped home, with everything you need for a relaxing get-away. Gas grill for BBQ.

Fully furnished 3-bedroom & 1 futon & 2 bath house with central AC, and Wi-Fi, TV , wireless security
Office equipped with printer on request, good for long-term rent!!!

The neighborhood

This charmingly decorated vacation house with a sunny porch is a 5 miles toward the heart of downtown Brevard.The house offers a private and quiet setting to enjoy the outdoors. A Private front yard vine trellis and swing (unfortunately is not in use) and back yard porch welcome guests to a special place to relax and decompress. Wifi and TV keep you in touch with the outside world. This is the perfect spot to stay and explore Brevard, Asheville, and 'The Land of Waterfalls', to explore the great things that western North Carolina has to offer!

Getting around

Located just 16 miles away north of Dupont State Park, 30 miles south of Biltmore estate , this is the perfect location for hiking, biking, horseback riding, waterfalls and so much more! We are about 10 minutes from Brevard--voted one of the best small towns in America! Brevard is loaded with art galleries, pottery and weaving, excellent restaurants and shopping. Hendersonville has even more and is about 15 miles to the east. Asheville is southeast 10 miles and its airport is just 20 miles away.

Amazing Experience

Comfortable and spacious

This property met our needs of five adults and two teens. The location was mountainous with close access to hiking, water falls, snow tubing and restaurants. Host was available for questions and advice, The decor and kitchen could be updated. Host has already planned to paint the inside. We were pleased with our winter getaway accommodations.

Great Mountain Retreat

In this crazy 2020 pandemic year, we were looking for a property to serve as a base for hiking and seeing the changing fall season. We initially looked in the Asheville area but settled on this property just outside Brevard. We were very happy with our choice. The property was spacious and as advertised. It was clean and well appointed and served our purposes well. We ate most meals in the home and thus having a fully equipped spacious kitchen was essential. While not fancy, the bedrooms and bathrooms were clean and very functional. Pre-trip communications with the owner were excellent and he had good local suggestions. We very much enjoyed the quaint town of Brevard and ate in a few good restaurants. I had not been to Asheville in approximately 15 years and was disappointed in our one visit there due to an overwhelming homeless issue on the City streets. Another minor disappointment was the lack of visible wildlife during our stay. This was on property and on the hikes. I guess they are shy and prefer to stay deeper in the forest. We did go out of our way to search for the famous white squirrels and caught a few glimpses. In all, despite 2 rainy days we had an excellent trip and highly recommend the property. Strongly recommend the Daniel Ridge Loop Hike and the High Falls and Triple Falls hikes. The AllTrails app is an excellent guide and our host's suggestions mirrored some of the better rated hikes.

Mountain Retreat

Beautiful wooded property and lovely spacious home. Six of us stayed for a long weekend with all the comforts of home! Close to Brevard and Hendersonville, NC with lots of nature hikes, waterfalls, antiques and quaint shops to visit. Thank you for sharing your home with us!

Brevard visit

Very well stocked house close to Brevard and several hiking venues. We mainly used the enclosed sunroom near the small waterfall. Very secluded and relaxing.

Relaxing Setting

We wanted a quick getaway to clear our heads and this was perfect. The house as all the amenities needed plus a master jacuzzi. Supplies are thoughtful and plentiful. The location is in Pisgah Forest so it’s quiet and secluded but tubing, fishing and hiking are only 15 minutes away. Just what we needed!

Spacious, comfortable home surrounded by trees and vegetation. Excellent value for money.

My family and I greatly enjoyed staying at the Wrenn’s Nest. It was spacious, had comfy beds, and was well equipped. My niece proclaimed that her mattress was the most comfortable she had ever slept on (king bed in master bedroom). I enjoyed being surrounded by green trees and vegetation. While neighbors were not far, we didn’t see or hear them. My sister saw the pictured fawn. It was convenient to Brevard, Sliding Rock, other falls, and hiking. Overall excellent value for money. My one wish was that the landlord would have posted on the website that the following were available: towels, beach towels, bedding, and fully equipped kitchen. Plenty of additional toiletries and kitchen goods have been left either by the landlord or previous guests. Had I known I would not have brought as much of my own soap and other sundries. The cleaners also unfortunately quit without notice. It was difficult to tell at first, because the place was generally clean, but a little trash in the trash cans, unmade beds, and a little dirt gradually revealed the cleaner’s absence. When I notified the landlords they responded immediately and refunded my cleaning fee without me asking.

Such a hidden treasure!

This home was absolutely wonderful. I came on vacation with my husband and three grown sons. We wanted to hike mountains and waterfalls for the week, and that is what we did. We loved the surrounding areas and really enjoyed our time here. We were able to find some wonderful local restaurants every night to eat out at as well. To be honest the home didn't look nearly as big online as it actually was. We were surprised and delighted when we walked in. Everything is kept beautifully and it was incredibly clean. We had everything we needed in the kitchen to be able to cook and prepare foods whenever we felt like it. The water pressure in the bathrooms was fantastic. This may seem like a little thing, but I really like a strong shower. I thought the bathtub in the bedroom was a little bit odd, but let me tell you, after a day of heavy hiking that jacuzzi tub was quite welcomed. One of my absolute favorite things was my bed. The master bedroom mattress was one of the most comfortable mattresses I have ever slept on in my entire life. Again this was especially appreciated after a long day of hiking. Every morning we went out and sat in the front yard under that lovely canopy. It was a great way to spend the morning seeing lots of birds and enjoying our breakfast. I was in contact with Frieda and Michael quite a few times. We talked and they were absolutely the most wonderful people. Michael gave very specific directions on getting into town and finding the house. Frieda and I chatted about things to do in the area, and I honestly felt like she was a friend. I highly recommend this hidden treasure especially if you want to hike in both Dupont and Pisgah Forest.

You couldn't ask for a nicer place to stay. The home is very large and is so much nicer then the images posted on the sight. The owners are very helpful with different sights of interest, dining and how to get around. They even give you perfect instructions on how to find the home. If you are going to the mountains, this is the place you want to stay. You are up in the mountains with amazing views. The house also sits up on hill so you have plenty of privacy. I cannot say enough good things about this rental.

Secluded Home in Nice Neighborhood Near Brevard

Our experience here was nothing but positive! The home is easy to find and is in a nice and secluded neighborhood in the Brevard/Pisgah Forest area. The homeowners were also pleasant to work with and were always prompt in their communication. I would definitely recommend this home if you're looking for a peaceful getaway!
