We enjoyed a wonderful stay at this rustic Tuscan villa. It had ample room for our large group and our children loved the outdoor space and lagoon like swimming pool. The property managers Best of Mas, were friendly and helpful and gave us some local recommendations for shopping, testy and places to visit and organized transfer for us with their drivers.Thanks for a lovely stay at your villa, we enjoyed our time there very much!

Our stay exceeded our expectations. Our hosts were fantastic. The events they planned for us were wonderful and my family and friends had fun and we didn’t want to leave! The views were spectacular. Whether we sat on the patio enjoying wine and talking or seeing the hill top towns it was the perfect place to stay! Please plan your next visit with your family and friends! Our group of 10 had an amazing few days at this villa! It was extremely spacious both inside and out. Best of Mas was extremely helpful coordinating transfers, vineyards tours, and chefs for various meals. The host was also very responsive when we had issues with the washing machine. I would highly recommend!

We had the most amazing stay! The pictures were exactly how depicted and it was the perfect space for our family of 9. So much space and we all felt like we had our own privacy. It was definitely somewhat remote, but we coordinated car services throughout our trip and the drivers were always on time, if not early, and got us to our locations with no problem. We really did love our trip and wish we had more time to enjoy the villa!

Villa l’Elsa was the perfect setting for our family reunion in the Tuscan hills. The views were breathtaking, the villa itself was spacious and full of charm, and every detail—from the pool to the outdoor dining spaces—made our stay magical. We loved relaxing by the pool, and exploring nearby villages and wineries. The villa struck the perfect balance between privacy and convenience, and the peaceful countryside made it easy to disconnect and truly enjoy time together. We made lifelong memories here—highly recommend for any family gathering or special occasion!

A perfect villa for a large family. The air conditioning in the upstairs and first floor sleeping areas worked very well. There is no AC in the basement sleeping area or the common areas, but they remained relatively cool. The outdoor area has a great pool, patio, and olive grove/garden. The location is very secure and within easy driving of pretty much anywhere you may want to visit in Tuscany.

We had an amazing weekend at the villa. It is spectacular, and there are almost too many things to do within a 20 minute drive. We were two families (11 people) and had tons of space, so you could definitely have more people. The villa has everything you could need for a lovely holiday - the pool is beautiful, and the landscape perfect. Arrival was slightly confusing, since the address is not entirely clear, but Irida was extremely responsive and available and the house quickly made up for the small detour.

We loved the property and the entire set up. We had difficulty with the hot water at first but it was mostly our fault. Our hosts helped us understand. This is a beautiful property. We had five married couples and we had okaenty of room and privacy when needed. Ideal central location to visit wonderful places like San Gimignano, Montepulciano, Siena, and Chianti. I would highly recommend.

We loved our experience here! The house feels remote but has easy access to a number of nearby Tuscan towns and only an hour from Florence. It served as a great jumping off point. We had 11 adults and 2 babies and it accommodated us well. One thing to note is that the kitchen, dining and living room are not air conditioned. It was very hot during our stay and we tried to move air from the other rooms into the common spaces but it was still 78 degrees. That said Francesca and her team were great and we would definitely stay again!

We enjoyed our stay at Villa d'Elsa very much. Beatiful setting to entertain our friends, catching up with them all in one spot whilst on holiday from NZ. There were a few major issues like temperamental dishwasher that got promptly replaced. And a power cut that got dealt with guided by the villa manager. Lack of water on the last day was a regional issue, out of control of tge villa. We would gladly be back another time in the future. Thanks fir a memorable holiday.

We had a wonderful stay with a group of 12 friends celebrating our 10-year university reunion. The house was easy to reach from both Florence and Pisa airports, with plenty of private parking. It was spotless, offered excellent value for money, and the host was incredibly friendly. The kitchen was fully equipped, with all the essentials and thoughtful starter supplies. We also loved the BBQ area, beautiful garden, and quiet surroundings. We spent hours by the pool. Even though it got quite warm during the day as it’s shallow, it was perfect for relaxing and spending some quality time together. Despite visiting during an extreme heatwave, the house stayed comfortable thanks to the air conditioning in every bedroom except the basement room. We all slept very well. Overall, a fantastic place for larger groups, and we would gladly come back!

We loved the property and the entire setup! We had a bit of difficulty with the hot water at first, but it was totally our fault: our hosts, Ambra and Francesca from the Best of Mas team, quickly helped us figure it out. This is an absolutely beautiful property. We had five couples in our group, and there was plenty of room for everyone, with tons of privacy when needed. It’s also in an ideal, central location for visiting wonderful places like San Gimignano, Montepulciano, Siena, and the Chianti region. I would highly recommend them! The Best of Mas team took such great care of us throughout our entire trip; they arranged our airport transfers, had our rental cars waiting for us directly at the villa when we arrived, and organized so many amazing experiences for us, like a private chef night at the villa and wine tours. Highly recommended!

Tuscan beauty

Lovely well-equipped home with space and easy privacy for family groups. Lovely property with local flora and magnificent views. Pool pleasant but shallow - for cooling off but not swimming. Note: house is large and has separate (entrance, parking,property) rental section. Pool only for you however and still good privacy.

Amazing stay

This listing is a great description of the villa. My friends and I had an amazing stay here. The house is perfect and very spacious with everything you'd need in a home away from home. The location cannot be beat; we were able to travel to Florence, Siena, Chianti, San Gimignano, and more small towns very easily from the villa. And, when we wanted to stay home and relax, the amenities were perfect. Communication with our hosts was easy and very pleasant; they even sent a handyman to fix a broken umbrella in a timely manner. This was a perfect stay. We cannot recommend this villa enough. We will certainly be back!

A wonderful stay in the Tuscan countryside

My family and I stayed here for almost a full week in the spring, and had an amazing time. The host was extremely responsive about the check-in process leading up to the stay, during the stay whenever we had any issues, and even after our stay when we needed to recover an item that was left behind. There were some slight hiccups with the house during our stay (garage door opener was out of batteries one time and the shower drain clogged one time), but the host was proactive as can be and quick to offer support. Otherwise, the property was gorgeous, and made for a near perfect trip. Would stay here again in the future!

Perfect Villa for our Family Group of 7

We were a multi-generational family group of 7 and this villa was perfect for us! The villa was well-stocked with everything we needed and had a laundry room for our use. We used the villa as our central location to go on many day trips over our week stay. Francesca and her team were very communicative and great to work with. She also arranged a home-cooked meal for us at the villa and it was fantastic! Definitely listen to their advice of NOT following your navigation to get to the villa until a certain point (part of our group learned that the hard way). We would definitely come back, and recommend staying here.

Beautiful location to relax and unwind

This was our first time renting a villa in Tuscany, and it did not disappoint. Not only was the property and the location fantastic, but so was the property management group Best of Mas. Extremely accommodating to make sure how trip was easy and perfect in every way. The additional services we selected, rental car and chef dinner at the villa exceeded our expectations. Can't say enough about the amazing view, the care and details of the inside and outside spaces, and the location. This place is amazing and we would highly recommend it to anyone planning on vacationing in Tuscany. Perfect for multiple couples or families. Lots of space for everyone. Ciao Italy...until we meet again.

The location is very secure and within easy driving of pretty much anywhere you may want to visit in Tuscany. Do yourself a favor and avoid booking through VRBO. They will charge you hundreds of dollars in fees that can be easily avoided by simply booking directly with the property. VRBO provides no value for these fees, they are an unnecessary middleman.

We had a great time at this gorgeous villa! It has plenty of space for a big family and beautiful views on San Gimignano and the Tuscan hills! The kitchen equipped with everything you might need. There are also a lot of boar games for the kids. Check in/out process was easy and the host was very helpful and friendly
