***Summer Weekly Rentals Saturday to Saturday in June - August***

Enjoy the open floor plan, 3 bedrooms (master and 2 bedrooms) 2 bathrooms, comfortable living room furniture and fireplace. The newly renovated main bathroom now has a deep tub to take away the stress of the city. One block to the private association beach. After a fun day at the beach, you can play in the front yard, relax in the screened porch or soak in the hot tub. Outdoor hot tub can be enjoyed all year long. Washer/dryer and dishwasher.

Whether you are coming to enjoy the fresh air, shooting stars or walks on the beach, the Cozy Cottage has a lot to offer. Come to reduce your stress and recharge.

We had a lovely time at The Cozy Cottage. It was clean and all the amenities were available. We especially loved how close we were to the beautiful beach.

This was our second time staying here and we are so glad we came back! The house is great, well furnished, and has access to a wonderful beach! We love this area of Michigan and look forward to our next trip!

House near beach

This was our 3rd visit to Cozy Cottage. Our check in was delayed about 2 hours which disrupted our schedule. We couldn’t use the hot tub for the entire visit as it was so dirty it had to be emptied. The owner gave me some money back but the kids wanted use of the hot tub more than the refund, very disappointing! The mattresses and couch could use refreshing, pretty squishy. The lighting is a challenge in the dining and living areas. Lots of spider webs and a few cricket spiders which freaked the kids out! The AC had been looked at the week before and they came back again because it was warm; the thermostat resets in the morning and if it doesn’t sense movement, the issue remains that it takes it almost overnight to cool back down to where we felt comfortable. We won’t be returning, the rental cost in my opinion is too high for the conditions. Lovely property and good beach accessories!

Lovely stay at the Cozy Cottage

The Cozy Cottage was a perfect home for our family’s week long stay over the 4th of July. The home had a great layout for a family of 5 or more with 4 beds in one of the bedrooms for kiddos. We enjoyed the front porch, hot tub and large yard. It also has great access to Orchard Beach which is a nice size and a short walk from the house. Plenty of chairs, umbrellas, wagon and beach toys to make the stay enjoyable. We’d love to book again!

Cozy, Cute, and Clean

Perfect for our four friends girls’ trip! SUPER comfortable living space! Everything was as described plus more. Easy walk to private beach (you do need a pass to get in -don’t try to go before your check-in). Yes, the steps are a lot, but totally worth it! Comfortable beds, great family-friendly games, books, & DVDs. We had a very relaxing getaway with lots of laughs. Will definitely book again! Our favorite.

Cute spot close to the beach!

The house was really nice and clean, and offered all the amenities we needed for a family reunion in Notre Dame. Close to some cute little spots, but still relaxing and secluded. Really enjoyed being so close to Lake Michigan! Janette was very kind and responsive throughout our stay.

Superb!

Fantastic cottage with only steps from the beach & private access to beach. Accommodations were lovely with soft colors & comfy bedding for The bedrooms. Our girls enjoyed having a trundle bed so all 4 could share a room!! Super to have a shed with a wagon & sand toys plus floats!! Will definitely return for more fun!!

Cozy, nicely outfitted house just a short walk to gorgeous, private beach.

We cannot overstate how much we loved our stay here! This house is clearly beloved and is well-stocked with all of the cooking and beach supplies you might need for a weekend away. Quiet, laid-back neighborhood, friendly neighbors waved hello to us every time they passed. The beach was clean, quiet, and BEAUTIFUL. We will absolutely be back!

End of Summer getaway

Good Times in Lakeside MI

The 4 of us thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Cozy Cottage. The house was wonderful and spacious. The kitchen was well equipped and the storage shed was loaded with great beach toys. We enjoyed cooking, kayaking, biking, beaching and golfing. We will return next summer. Thank you to our hosts for a terrific stay!

Everything was wonderful!

We had a great stay at the Cozy Cottage. The home is stocked with everything you could possibly need! We had plenty of space (Me, my husband, and 3 & 5 year old boys) to relax and enjoy Lakeside. The beach was a quick walk down the road and then about 25 steps down. The kitchen was equipped with everything needed, plus a garage full of fun toys and chairs, etc for the beach. I already want to come back next summer!

Family Vacation

My wife and two kids, 4 and 6, spent a wonderful week at this lovely cottage. The house overall was very nice with plenty of space for us all. The only minor improvement would be a more thorough cleaning of the house.

Amazing house and beach!!

Janette was an amazing host! Her house is beautiful - a perfect beach oasis. It was open and airy, impeccably clean, had so many amenities (hot tub, tons of beach equipment, full kitchen supplies, comfy beds, plentiful towels, cute patio and porch, etc). We loved it! We plan on making this an annual adventure. Can’t wait for those union pier sunsets next year. Thanks, Janette!

I am very picky and always afraid of getting a place that isn't as advertised. This house and Janette far exceeded expectations. Everything was VERY clean! It is one of the first rentals I didn't feel the need to clean again when I arrived. Comfortable beds. Easy walk to beach. Everything you need for a awesome week at the beach. Will definitely stay again.

The Cozy Getaway

The Perfect Harbor Country Cottage

This was our third stay at The Cozy Cottage in Lakeside. We love this home - beautifully, beach-ily decorated, comfortable and welcoming! It was spotlessly clean when we arrived with chocolates, wine and flowers to greet us. The house is fully stocked with everything you might need except your swimsuit! :) We love how many beach toys are in the shed and the easy 5 minute (if that) walk to a beautiful beach. Owners are very responsive with any issues that come up. The cottage really shows their pride in ownership. We highly recommend this cottage for a visit to Lake Michigan and are looking forward to stay number 4 again soon!!
