The perfect cottage in Union Pier. Incredible location. Cross the street and walk 1 short block to the best beach in the area. Brand new washer dryer and beautiful new stone kitchen countertops as well as a stunning brand new dining/kitchen buffet. Our home is peaceful and comfortable with plenty of room for everyone. Large wrap around fenced-in yard with lush gardens, hammock, fire pit, and new Weber gas grill. Large comfortable screened in porch . Our sun filled kitchen is the heart of the home, with ample space for cooking and hanging out before dinner. We've got everything you need for your carefree beach vacation - including beach chairs, umbrellas, beach towels, beach toys, and even a wagon for carrying it all down to the best beach.

First Floor:
-Mud room with washer and dryer
-Enclosed back porch, with lounging area, overlooking back gardens
-Full Bath with tub/shower combo
-Kitchen with new stainless steel appliances, including dishwasher, disposal, faucet and refrigerator, new quartz countertops, and a farmhouse sink
-Large dining area off kitchen. Brand new breakfront piece with all dining room needs in organized drawers. Extra long dining table that seats 10 people easily.
-Family room with big cozy couch around a gas fire place, with a flat screen TV
-Master bedroom with plenty of closet space.
-Enclosed large front porch overlooking front gardens (*with twin trundle bed)

Second Floor:
-Full bath
-Open sleeping area with two trundle beds and a flatscreen cable TV
-Large second bedroom with one queen bed
*Trundle bed on the front porch as well, (if anyone would prefer to sleep downstairs rather than in the upstairs areas.)
Private driveway with plenty of space for parking.

We LOVED staying at Three Gems Cottage. We came with our four children and parents and enjoyed the beach and area. The cottage was well stocked and very clean! The owners went above and beyond to make us comfortable and have a good time. We definitely recommend it!

Our family really enjoyed our week at the cottage! The house was clean and spacious. There were plenty of towels, blankets, beach chairs, etc. We appreciated the excellent washer/dryer, gas grill, fire pit, standing AC units upstairs, comfortable couch and detachable showerhead in the downstairs bath. The four kids loved their sleeping area with the two twin trundle beds! My husband and I slept comfortably on the front porch beds, surprisingly enough! Heading down to the gorgeous beach each day was a dream.

Stay here! Wonderful cottage with large backyard, beautiful flowers and nice front yard with beautiful flowers and trellis. The inside is such comfortable hangout space, kitchen is well stocked, beds are comfortable and bathroom washer and dryer on first floor and another bathroom on second floor make the space so easy to use and enjoyable. When we arrived, there was a party next door but the cottage is so sound-proof that we could not hear anything including a heavy rainstorm. Literally one block from a beautiful beach. So coveniently located that we could easily walk to downtown Union Pier and to the Whistle Stop for pastries. In addition, very family friendly with towels, beach chairs, umbrella and toys. We look forward to returning!

A lovely cottage in a great location

We loved our stay at the cottage. The gardens are beautiful and the kitchen had every utensil a cook would need. The location and proximity to the beach can’t be beat!

Family Beach Vacation

Beautiful, clean and comfortable accommodations for our family including our little one (18 mod). Perfect distance to the beach. Lake is accessible on a whim but also able to retreat to the cottage for some A/C and quiet time. The garden and surrounding town add to the relaxing ambience without sacrificing some creature comforts. We hope to return.

Great beach getaway

Great house! Fully equipped with everything you need - from fully stocked kitchen to beach chairs. And only a five minute walk to the beach. Highly recommend!

Simply amazing.

We had another wonderful stay! This year we made a point to use the backyard fire pit which came loaded with tons of firewood. Such a great family tradition spot!!

Perfect home for a perfect vacation

Absolutely lovely house within minutes of one of, if not, the best beach in the area. Wonderfully appointed home that has everything you need for a perfect beach trip. Room for the whole family, of all ages. Fantastic hosts, don’t pass this one up!

Absolutely Wonderful!

Amazing location and property. The place had ample beds for kids, and the trundle setup on the top floor is excellent. Between beach chairs, wagon, and sand toys - we truly didn’t want for much during our stay! Highly recommend and can’t wait to return!

Perfect spot. Perfect location.

Perfect beach cottage. Super close to the beach and "downtown" Union Pier and very well equipped for an easy stay - everything you need in a kitchen to feed the lot plus beach chairs, towels, and umbrellas, etc for hanging out. Best part is there are sooo many windows allowing you to open up the house and take advantage of the cool SW Michigan nights after a hot day at the beach.

Location is perfect! We loved the large dining area for meals and games. The fire pit was perfect for evening s’mores! The house is comfortable and inviting. Lots of towels, beach chairs, and the perfect wagon to help cart it all to the beach.

Our best stay in Union Pier

We take a ladies trip every year to Union Pier and have stayed in multiple houses. This one is our favorite.It’s a very cozy cottage, but it slept all 10 of us comfortably. The beach chairs were new and the wagon provided was super helpful. The location is a very short walk to the beach. Excellent location. We had everything we needed in the kitchen and all of the dishes and silver were top end. Lots of extras and super comfortable beds and pillows!

Everything at this house is amazing. They had everything you could need for great family trip. The beach is a very short walk away. The hosts were great and easy to contact. We will definitely stay here again next chance he get.

Fantastic Beach Home!

We were are family of 5 adults. Plenty of room, super cute, better than the photos.Fully stocked kitchen, everything you would need. Loved the backyard with the fire pit. The location was amazing ,close to the beach, local store and coffee shop. Susan & Victor are incredible hosts!

Just Perfect

Lovely accommodations with attention to the smallest detail for comfort, from the fairies hiding on front porch ceiling shelf to the new butterfly garden to the fluffy towels wrapped just so in coordinating baskets. Can’t wait to return!

Great family house for playing at the beach!

We enjoyed four nights with my husband and four children ages 8, 6, 4, and 2 and my mother and father in law. We slept comfortably and loved the spacious and well supplied kitchen and large dining table. We easily walked to the beach multiple times a day to play in the sand and water. The front and back porches were great additional spaces for spreading out. Everything was very clean and well organized!

Close to the beach, very comfortable cottage

We had a great family get away at the Three Gems! The cottage is located on a quiet street just a few minutes walk to the beach and also a short walk to the Black Currant bakery. The cottage has a nice layout with many different spaces which made it more fun to spend some time in the cottage to have dinner, play games and listen to the birds on the patio. The beds were comfortable. The bed linen, pillows and decorations are new and nicely selected. Susan and Victor were easy to reach. A wonderful stay overall!

We love the short drive from Chicago and always look forward to getting away from it all to Three Gems Cottage. The beaches in Union Pier are stunning. This is an incredibly relaxing and refreshing retreat. We cherish our time here and we know you will as well.

This property has been a dream come true for us. Our cottage is quiet, clean, cozy, (yet spacious) warm and welcoming. We can cross the street and walk one short block to Lake Michigan's shoreline. We love taking leisurely walks through the neighborhood, and the town of Union Pier is a nice easy walking distance from Three Gems Cottage.

Home sweet home and so close to the beach. Relaxing evenings abound.. whether sitting by the fire pit in the back yard, gathering with friends and family at the huge dining room table...barbecuing, or just relaxing in the spacious screened back porch, we cherish every moment here.
