Unique to the area is this special cabin surrounded by woods with a sandy beach for those who like days on the shore, making fireside memories, stargazing, walks, and fun surrounded by nature's best. Many activity options in the huge, grassy yard (basketball, old-fashioned play equipment, fire pits)!

How nice is the cabin? Fully remodeled with newer high-quality furniture, beds, appliances, 2 washer/dryers. 3 BRs = 1 Queen, 1 Queen + pullout, 2 twins, plus a den with a pullout. 2 bath. This house is decorated and stocked, based on extensive travel experience, for those who like comfort, luxury, and cleanliness.

What is nearby? The cabin is located down a woodsy lane on a large Lake Michigan sandy beach. Steps from Kohler-Andrae State Park and minutes from Kohler's American Club & Spa, PGA-renowned Whistling Straights golfing, Sheboygan's Blue Harbor WaterPark, and other special small-town nooks, crannies, and watering holes. (Several less-expensive public golf-courses are close by as well.)

What can you do at Nelly's cabin? Spend a day on the beach, makes s’mores by the fire, play cards or yard games, read books, gaze at the stars and the wildlife, walk the shore, take a hike in the State Park. With fire pits and chairs on the beach and in the large yard, and a full size wood burning fireplace inside, you can play or rest with friends, or chill with a book and a glass of wine as you enjoy your time inside or outside on the property's several sitting areas. We provide plenty of outdoor chairs and blankets for your campfires, and some games/outdoor toys. (Public Pickleball and Tennis courts are a just a few minutes away in the town of Oostburg or Sheboygan.)

Nature lover? Nature is the norm as your senses are engaged by colorful leaves, starry skies, crashing waves, chirping birds, prancing deer, squirrels, frogs, turtles, and other wildlife in the woodsy scenery. For those who like to hike or go for a leisurely walk, there are several trails and walking dunes in Kohler Andre State Park a few hundred yards up the beach.

When should I rent? Whether you are planning your visit in the summer, fall, winter, or spring, there is nothing quite like being tucked the woods on a Great Lake with different views and experiences being offered each season. (Many of our visitors choose to re-rent, and summers and fall/winter holidays can fill up months in advance.)
