Welcome to the updated Pirate's Cove in Depoe Bay! This stunning two-story home sits on a large piece of land overlooking the Pacific Ocean! You'll have amazing views from this beautiful rental, no matter what time of year you visit! Enjoy the grounds of the home with a new hot tub installed in 2024 next to the new propane fire pit and patio furniture. The two queen beds downstairs have been updated with new 14' Advanced Gel Memory Foam Mattresses. With five bedrooms and three and a half baths, up to seventeen guests can sleep here comfortably!

Head inside to your home away from home and check out the amenities Pirate's Cove has to offer! A large living room offers plenty of space for you and your friends and family to rest and relax while taking in the sights and sounds wafting in from the water. Large, picturesque windows allow you to take in the view and sea air!

The full-size kitchen offers panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean while also offering everything you'll need to whip up a special homemade meal, or to enjoy some take-out with so many seating options; inside at the large family dining table, the outside patio furniture by the cove or closer to the house with the new fire pit and patio set up next to the brand new hot tub!

This is also a great place to storm watch from many of the bedrooms, the living room, and the kitchen! Flat screen TVs throughout the house snuggled up to the fireplace on those colder Oregon nights, along with an array of teas to warm you up.

Each bathroom offers plenty of space to get ready for the day. The primary bedroom offers a large tub for a relaxing bath and a walk-in shower, while the other two full-sized baths offer showers. The primary bedroom offers a king-size bed, while the other bedrooms have a queen and twin upstairs, three bunk beds, and a pullout couch in the downstairs living room, along with the two other queen beds that have been updated for your comfort! You can mix and match in whatever way best suits you and your party's needs! There is also a washer and dryer located at this rental, allowing you the freedom to pack light and wash clothing as you need it! There is also an elliptical for when that Oregon rain won't let you get your exercise outside.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The views were amazing and the living area was perfect for our group of 8 adults! Loved that we were within walking distance of the shops and restaurants. And the agency staff were quick to respond and very friendly. Would definitely stay here again!

Large friendly house with excellent view

Although a bit outdated, the place is wonderful for a family get together. We could overlook some 90's decor and older carpeting. The location is excellent. The size is fantastic. The ping pong table and games and hot tub were popular with the group! We would stay again. A challenge for the wheelchair person but we did it!

Pirate's Cove Review

A property with an amazing view and plenty of room for guests!Unfortunately, we did not have any hotwater due to a malfunctioning hotwater heater. Maintenance took most of the day to respond to us regarding this only to inform that it could not be repaired during our stay. The owner offered a 25% discount due to this, which for a very basic amenity seemed paltry. These sort of things happen however, and I'm sure it was just an anomaly and bad luck it happened when it did. Given the view, the hottub, the great location in Depoe Bay and the reasonable price, I would stay here again.

Great location, great view

This house was our first stop on our way down the coast. There were just 3 of us but the house is huge! The view from the top floor and the hot tub is great, and it's walking distance to downtown Depoe Bay.You definitely won't regret your stay!

Love this beach house!

This house was great! Based on some past reviews, I wasn't sure what to expect. But it exceeded my expectations. Yes, it's a little rough around some edges, but only in cosmetic ways that don't matter. It was clean, comfy, spacious, with comfortable beds and modern baths. And OMG, the ocean views are truly outstanding! The gas fireplace and huge soaking bathtub were unexpected extra amenities. And it's just a few minutes walk to a good coffee shop, liquor store and mini mart. Definitely hope to return to this place in the future!

Beautiful ocean views! Dining table and living room accommodated our group of 10 adults & 4 kiddos. Housekeeping responded quickly to our texted concerns and issue resolved. Our only regret is not staying longer! These were items we noted:-Upstairs smaller bedroom has no night curtains -Dishwasher missing rollers on bottom rack-Wood stove not available for use-Cooktop stove was very challenging to use

Family-friendly

This house delivered in the views promised in the listing. It made doing the dishes a pleasure with the ocean waves crashing on the rocks in the bay. The open concept main living space accommodated our family with ease. Though there were enough beds for us all, the pullout couch is not a bed we would recommend, itā€™s old and full of pokey springs. There are a few recommendations that would improve the experience:- The toilet seat is cracked in the downstairs bathroom - Main floor bath toilet seat is loose- There is no curtain or screen in upstairs attic bedroom window. The street lights make it bright at night. - The can opener doesnā€™t work well- There is no workout room that was advertised in the listing- There is a funky curtain in the downstairs queen bedroom that doesnā€™t close well- The fridge is small for accommodating the amount of people the space can hold. There is definitely room for a full size fridge. - The dishwashing machine lower rack has no wheels and is difficult to pull out. - There is water leaking under kitchen sink- The oven racks are too small and we almost lost our food when the rack fell off.- There is a moldy shower curtain that needs to be replaced.

Comfortable and Great Views!!

We had a fairly large group of family of all ages. The home was very comfortable and had everything we needed. The furnishings were a bit dated, but comfortable, and carpet had stains, but overall it worked out well for our group. The views from every room were amazing. The windows did not have screens, so it might get a bit buggie in the summer, but our fall/winter stay was great!!

Loved the location. The house needs some love. Lights in back dont work. Lights on bunks dont work. Kitchen needs a large noodle strainer. Sharpen knives in kitchen. The views! They never got old! This house had so much room and bathrooms which is nice for large groups. We brought are own pack-n- play and highchair so if you have little ones you will have to supply your own gear. Two coffee shops within walking distance waa amazing.

disappointing, given the gorgeous location and view

The location in the view of this property are outstanding. However, the outside of the property is unkempt. In fact the front porch was halfway marked off with caution tape because it was rotting through. When you enter the home is immediately apparent that the carpet has never been cleaned. The baseboards in the walls were all filthy. the downstairs bedroom with the multiple bunkbeds looks like it was a colt bedroom or something. We were all too scared to sleep in there. The house has had no money put into it for repairs or upkeep, which is really disappointing because it could be really neat. everything is the cheapest quality and as I mentioned, it was so unclean that no one was wearing to go barefoot in the home. We all felt uncomfortable in the home. I wish they would put a little bit into upkeep and maintenance of this home. Position on the coastline is unique and it's really disappointing that the inside is so terrible .

Sibling gathering

We picked an amazing distracting get away for my siblings and I. Our mother passed away exactly a year ago, and we needed a distraction but also be surrounded by eachother for support in case we needed it. And i must say it did that magical work!! The view was amazing the place was definitely a good size and everything was convenient!! I would definitely recommend and come back to this place ..

Way over priced

Carpets and furniture are filthy dirty. Smells like urine all throughout house. Do not recommend this home. We spent 6k for this and it was majorly disappointing.

Beautiful view

The home had an incredible view from nearly all rooms. It was spacious and served very well. The proximity to the town was perfect, local stores were close for any needs you may have forgotten. The home was close to lovely walking trails to enjoy the ocean. The home itself could definitely use a little TLC, and have some more amenities to make it easier on guests. Iā€™d recommend to bring extra towels for the hot tub, and toiletries such as shampoo, conditioner and lotion. The kitchen has some basics but if youā€™re planning to cook, consider bringing your comfort items. The carpets are really in need of replacing, but overall, it was a great experience. I would book it again for sure.

Beach getaway

Upon arrival, I encountered problems locating the entry keys. I sent a msg to the host but to no response. I ended up calling the main number for the listing and they provided an entire different code for a different lock box that had a pair of emergency keys. We finally got in 30 minutes later. Once I stepped in I noticed lots of bug/mosquitos by all the windows. It would have been nice to have screens to open the windows without letting bugs in. I didnā€™t realize the dryer wasnā€™t working until I seen a not saying donā€™t use. Lots of stains on the walls and ceilings and several cups/glasses had lipstick stains on them.

Awesome view of seals

Very beautiful views and a very short walk to downtown and the towards the sea at the back. Very short and quick drive to the beach nearby. Saw sea lions on the rocks from the house. And the bionoculours in the house helped us see loads and loads of sea lions in the ocean. Had kids and friends and had a get together for new year eve. Had a blast.
