Relaxing Family Cape Retreat in New Seabury

Welcome to our family Cape house. Our home is located in a private setting within New Seabury. A 15 minute walk to the beach and an 8 minute walk to Fells Pond, a tranquil sand bottom pond that's perfect for kids.

The whole family can fit! There are 2 Full bedrooms on the 2nd floor, a Queen master suite with walk in closet and master bathroom on the 1st floor and a bunk room with sleeping for 6 in the finished basement. There is a full bathroom on the 2nd floor and a half bath off of the kitchen on the 1st floor. The master bath has a huge luxury shower that features a rain shower head and body jets. The main floor has a large living room with a comfy sectional and a 65-inch smart TV over the gas fireplace. The living room opens to the dining space, where there is a dining table for 6. There are also 3 dining stools at the kitchen peninsula. The kitchen has a gas stove, dish washer and all the essential kitchen appliances and tools. Outside there is a very large and very private deck with outdoor seating and a grill. Home also has central air, 2 sky lights, washer/dryer, wireless internet and parking for 3 vehicles.

Our family rented this property for 5 years and loved it so much that we purchased it! We have already made several updates to the property but have even more planned, including paint and finishings. Hope you love it as much as we do!

This was an incredible property and exactly what we needed for our family vacation. We had family come from four different states to spend a week together. This house had room for all of us, an incredible deck where we gathered to play games, eat and drink and we even hired a professional photographer to do family photos out there!The house is exactly as the photos portrayed. Very clean and very cozy. It took us about five minutes to drive to the beach, which was never crowded or tough to park at.The kitchen was big enough that I could cook for 11 people and the dining room and bar area held enough space for everyone to sit and have breakfast together. Close enough to everything you could possibly want to do on a New England vacation.Communication with the owner was incredible… they text us to check in one of the first days we were there and I was able to text them several times throughout our stay with questions and they had a prompt response and were very agreeable and friendly.I definitely recommend this property to anyone and should we come back to this part of the country again we will definitely stay here!

This home features a large, clean, modern kitchen, with an open floor plan leading to the dining room and spacious, comfortable living room. Just off the dining room is a huge deck with a gas grill & plenty of seating. There are plenty of bedrooms & bathrooms to accommodate a large family. It is close to the beautiful South Cape Beach and the New Seabury & Popponesset Areas are spectacular! This home is top shelf!!!!!

Fells Pond House

This property is very up to date, clean and well maintained. the outside deck area is great for sitting and taking in nature. The house had all of the items (pots, pans etc) that you need for a weeklong stay. The setting is very serene and quiet, yet very close to all of the local attractions (beach, marketplace, etc) I would highly recommend this property to anyone.

Family vacation

House was well suited to our needs. Clean throughout. Kitchen was well stocked with anything needed for cooking and eating. The deck was a great space to socialize outside without being cramped. Location was convenient for all our needs and the neighborhood was nice and quiet.

Great New Seabury Rental

The house was just as beautiful as the listing photos. Great location, quick drive to the beach. Easy access to Popponesset Market, which is adorably quaint and brought back so many great childhood memories. Hosts were quick to respond to any questions and/or concerns. I would recommend this home.

Family vacation

Rented the home for a family reunion / vacation. Great location to New Seabury amenities and Poppy’s place. Homeowner was very easy to connect with, and very friendly, helpful and responsive. Kitchen very well stocked to cook family meals and the outdoor patio was a great spot to eat outside.

Lovely Cape Cod Luxury Vacation Retreat

Highly recommend this modern, spacious home for a classic Cape Cod family vacation. Located in a quiet area, surrounded by trees, yet within a quick trip to Falmouth- or day trips to the Islands ect. The brand new wrap around deck was a lovely place to work, eat, rest, and hang out, with Wifi connection easily extending to the large deck table and comfortable chairs. The home has a swimming lake within walking distance and many ocean beaches to chose from a few minutes drive away. We loved South Cape Beach State Park especially. The water was so clear and warm. This home is perfect for any season. There is a market and restaurant complex within a short walk, with cafes, ice cream, live music. Appreciated the welcoming host and many home amenities. EASY FIVE STARS!

Lovely experience in New Seabury

We found the home quite comfortable. Spacious bedrooms, well decorated throughout the home, great kitchen area and a beautiful deck. The deck was perfect for the appreciation of the outdoors. We would certainly be interested in staying at this home again.

Enjoyable stay at this conveniently located lovely home

Our family consisted of grandparents, adult children, young children and an infant. The house was immaculate and had everything from a well equipped kitchen to bath towels. The location of this home was perfect. We walked to the Marketplace and Fells Pond. We went to the beach, a water park and Treehouse Brewery. We had a couple of questions and the owner Jeff responded promptly. The weather was great! We are already planning a return trip.

Great House

The house was accommodating for our whole family, it was very clean, updated, and well stocked. The area was good, my nephew caught a five pound large mouth bass in the pond across from the ocean. Overall a great place to stay.

Lovely home away from home

Highly recommend this property. House is beautifully furnished with plenty of room for our party of 6. Only a 10-15 minute walk to the Popponesset Marketplace, always a highlight for our kids. Deck is wonderful for outdoor meals. So happy to have found this gem!

Very nice place on the Cape

Cozy place but very clean and well appointed. Well located just minutes away from Rt 28, shopping plazas, and the beach. Would be happy to stay here again.

Comfortable and Relaxing Indeed!

The house is in great shape, spacious, well-furnished, attractively decorated, and very comfortable. The master on the main with its incredible shower was especially enjoyable. The quiet location and wooded surroundings provided great privacy and a relaxing setting. It served the four of us, all senior adults, very well. Thanks for sharing it with us!

Family from UK Visit to Cape Cod

Property was excellent for the this family visit to Cape Cod. There were a few items that caused a little confusion such as having internal doors that needed keys to unlock. The lock on the door to the basement got locked by error and it was necessary to contact the owner to sort out the issue. The owner is extremely responsive to the small issues that we had. The one item that I could describe as missing would be details as to how to get to the pond or beach from the property as described in the listing.

Perfect Vacation House

We had a great stay at Fells Pond. The house had everything we needed and we were able to comfortably cook meals most days and lots of space to spread out. Modern amenities and very clean. We attended a wedding at the Popponesset Inn which was a short drive. Our teenagers walked back and forth to the market place on several occasions and each had a couple of friends stay with us later in the week - the layout of the house was perfect for this, especially with the bunk room on the lower level. Great week, would definitely rent again.

Cape cod getaway

We had a great week at this property with two families (5 adults and 4 kids). We walked to the marketplace for ice cream, mini golf and live music three nights. We went to three different beaches all within 20 minutes of the house. We spent a day in Martha’s Vineyard biking around the island. Overall the house had all the kitchen necessities needed. The air conditioning was perfect on the hot days. The only downside is there was no yard for the little guys to run around in. But overall, a great spot!

Five Stars: Felt At Home The Whole Time

My family and I just came back from a week's vacation on the Cape and we were all glad we chose this home for our stay. The house is roomy. We are a family of 5 and probably could have brought several others to join us. The basement itself was like an island of its own. The kitchen is clean, large and has everything you need. The back deck was a wonderful place to grill and also enjoy a dinner outside or your morning coffee. The hosts could not have been more helpful and pleasant. Probably my favorite part of the house was the shower in the guest room. This trip is going to cost me more because now I have to change my own bathroom to be just like this one! There is a small pond down the street that you can visit for a swim. It's never overly crowded, usually one other person or family. It's not a far drive from the ocean. It felt like we were in a cozy neighborhood and I could see myself living there. In fact, my 14 year old daughter said after the first night of being there, "I'm going to buy this place." Keep saving the pennies, kid. :) This place will not disappoint. It is definitely 5 out of 5.

Wonderful New Seabury House Walking Distance From Shops and Pond!

We had the most wonderful vacation in New Seabury. The house is as perfect as it looks in the photos – super clean and with all of the comforts and conveniences of home. Our family of four vacationed here with my sister’s family of four and there was plenty of space for both families to spread out and relax. The four girls (ranging from 3-11 yrs) enjoyed having their own bunk room and often used it as their own separate place to play throughout the day as well. The deck and overall surroundings of the house are really lovely – so quiet and serene – we found the deck a wonderful place to wake up with a cup of coffee, play a game of cards, work on a crossword or even have dinner. All of the New Seabury grounds are gorgeous – with beautifully maintained flowers and landscaping. Such a nice area for morning or early evening walks. The location of the home is also incredible. It’s walking distance from a clear bottom pond with a little sandy beach – that we often had completely to ourselves. A short 8 minute drive brings you to South Cape Beach, which we found to be one of the nicest we’ve experienced on the Cape: soft, clean sand, not too busy, small waves, gradual entry (great for little ones) and clear water. We also enjoyed walking from the cottage to the nearby Poppy Market – which has a toy store, candy story, ice cream, mini golf and other souvenir shops. One night we watched the fireworks from there and another night we enjoyed dinner al fresco while listening to live music and watching our kids danced on the little stage – so lovely! Jeff is incredibly responsive – even proactively reaching out in advance of our stay to answer any questions, share recommendations, etc. Always nice to have attentive owners! We would definitely stay here again in the future. The only thing we missed was having a backyard for the girls to burn off some energy but we did take advantage of the house being on a quiet dead end street for scootering/biking, chalk drawing and other fun. Overall, we would highly recommend it to anyone!

Perfect rental

This was one of the best rentals we stayed at - the house is extremely comfortable stocked with everything useful you could imagine. It’s tastefully decorated and renovated as well. Location is great and feels very safe. We love walking and was able to take strolls around the block and to the water on a frequent basis. Jeff is an AWESOME property manager and that makes all the difference. We searched for days trying to find the right spot and so glad we picked this place.

New Owners! Our family rented this house for our wedding in 2013 and fell in love with the property. We loved it so much that we rented it for a week each summer since the wedding and decided to purchase it fall of 2017.

We love the private, serene setting. The property is on a quiet cul-de-sac, surrounded by trees. During the day, the large deck is the perfect place to enjoy the outdoors. In evenings, we enjoy hanging out with the family in the living room or doing puzzles on the dining table. And when you need a little escape, Fells Pond or the beach is only a short walk away!
