What a fantastic vacation retreat!! For those of you who donā€™t know Sea Pines our beach home at #1 Spotted Sandpiper is the perfect location. Only five homes from the best beach on Hilton Head (with no streets to cross), we are only three streets from the Sea Pines Beach Club. The Beach Club offers drinks & snacks as well as lunch & dinner while you gaze at the ocean. Incredible! Relax in our pool and hot tub after returning from the two minute walk to the beach on the beach walk. Thereā€™s nothing much nicer!!

Families enjoy the spaciousness and separation that our home offers on its three levels. The foyer, family room, laundry, and half bath are on the first level. A few steps up is the lovely living room with fireplace overlooking the pool and hot tub with the dining room and kitchen sharing this level. The kitchen is well equipped for those that choose to cook. There is , also, a built in barbeque on the patio so you can enjoy eating by the pool. When you choose to eat out there are many wonderful restaurants close by. While some family members enjoy the living room others can be watching television, (there are four flat screens) listening to the stereo or playing games in the family room. The TV in the family room is HD and DVR equipped. Of course the home is equipped with WI-FI. The third level features the four bedrooms and three full baths. This great home has two master bedroom suites with queen beds, both feature private baths with beautiful glass showers. One also has a Jacuzzi. Of the remaining two bedrooms, one has a queen bed the other has twin beds. Both share a bathroom right across the hall.

There is so much to do close our home!! Bike riding, golfing (there are three courses in Sea Pines), tennis, dolphin watching, shopping, Harbourtown, South Beach, horseback riding, the forest preserve, fishing, great restaurants ā€“ so much to do !! All of this only minutes from our home!! There are three security cameras - one in the driveway, one in the carport, & one on the patio/pool.
Everyone loves our very comfortable non-smoking home with its great location!!

Hilton Head family retreat

The surrounding area is beautiful and full of things to do. The house was very nice and clean and the addition of rented bikes and beach chairs made for a wonderful vacation.

Awesome place and location!

My family had an awesome time in Sea Pines! The beach is amazing and we all loved riding bikes on the beach and around the island on the bike paths. The owners were extremely responsive when we reached out during out week. Loved the layout of the house and it really is a great location.

Fantastic location! Short walk to the beach!

This was our first time visiting HHI and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The layout of the home provided room for privacy and room for our group to ā€œspread outā€. The owners were very attentive and kind. Would recommend this place to others.

Wonderful vacation home

Perfect Christmas Vacation

My family rented this house for our Christmas gathering. It was perfect! There was plenty of room for all of us to be together, but also room to get away if someone needed space. The location was great-close to the beach and the Sea Pines Beach Club. The owner, Sue, was great to work with. Highly recommend this property.

this is a great property. just a quick walk down to the beach. great pool and hot tub. lots of room including 2 big bedrooms with attached bathrooms and two other bedrooms with a hall bath. fully equipped kitchen. owners were great - very responsive and helpful.

We love this place. Great location. Great communication with Sue. The layout is good for privacy and comfort.short walk to beach. Private pool is nice but will appear dirty due to landscaping around pool. Small trash cans filled up fast and owner should provide a bigger dumpster type trash can. There was also a lot of nicnaks...tempting for young children. Also, be advised of Cameras on pool and hot tub without notification.

Great Week on HHI

We had a great week on HHI and this home made it very comfortable. The pictures are accurate and the home is even a bit more spacious than it seems. The property was clean upon arrival and the beds were comfortable. The kitchen was very well equipped. The kids loved the pool and we enjoyed the semi-private wooded path to the beach. The host communicated proactively and was quick to address any issues we had. We would definitely consider staying here again. Thank you!!

Nice Home, Close to Beach, Great Owners

We enjoyed our stay and the home was as advertised and photos were accurate, so there were no surprises. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub with the kids and grandparents. Walk to the beach was quick and easy and close access to the Sea Pines Beach Club was a bonus. The owners were fantastic and very communicative about anything we needed.

Spring break

We had an excellent time at the house. The kitchen had every appliance we could imagine we would want and was very clean and tidy. Our large family appreciated that everyone had enough space. The hot tub was nice for a couple cooler evening we had. We loved being close to the beach and a reasonable bike ride away from HH hot spots. Communication and access to the house were simple.

Location is Everything

If location is most important to you, this place is great! The home is as pictured, with somewhat dated decor. The kitchen has been redone and has all the appropriate tools and cookware. Working with Sue was a pleasure from the start and throughout the week. She was very responsive. Because the house is in a wooded area, it's nearly impossible to keep the pool clean; if you don't mind swimming among leaves and debris from the grading. It was serviced mid-week but got dirty the same day. Not a big deal for our family but worth noting. Overall a good home with great hosts and a killer location.

A comfortable haven right by the ocean

The property was far nicer in person than the pictures led me to believe. It is very comfortable and is a perfect place for families. The two master suites are spacious. The kitchen and dining area is modern enough and functional. There is a lovely small pool that provides great relief from the heat and was great for the small kids in our group. Most importantly, location. It was an easy two minute walk from the beach. All in all it was a lovely stay, made even more so by the owner Sue who was always available by phone or text and was delightful to deal with. I highly recommend, especially for the fair price.

Wonderful vacation

Sue was wonderful and the property was perfect for our family vacation. Walk to beach was easy and pool was fabulous! Of no fault to anyone the mosquitoes were plenty! We were able to purchase some spray and citronella candles for the pool area and managed well. Would definitely visit again.

Excellent home in a great location!

We truly enjoyed our stay at this property. This was our first time to visit Hilton Head Island and we will definitely return. The home was in excellent condition, very clean, and all the amenities we needed for a weeklong vacation with family. Sue was wonderful to work with and was always very prompt to respond to any questions or concerns. The home was very spacious and had enough room for our family to stay comfortably for the week. We especially loved the private pool and the close proximity to the beach. We will definitely return and hope to stay here again in the future!

Our Vacation

We had a great week, with amazing weather. Our family has been coming to HHI for 30+ years. It always feels like home when we come back. We had some minor mishaps but with that aside, we would recommend staying at this beautiful home. It was very clean, and the owners were great to communicate with.

Fantastic week at an unbeatable location

The layout of the house was great and more than big enough for our family of five. The home had everything we needed including a pool and hot tub. We were only a short walk to the beach in a beautiful and quiet area of Seapines.

Perfect location for beach and biking

We enjoyed our stay at 1 Spotted Sandpiper and spent our days swimming and biking and going to the beach. We found the home charming and well stocked and the owner very easy to communicate with. This is a wonderful location - we especially walking to the beach on the path rather than having to cross streets. The beach the path led to was not crowded. Convenient to groceries and restaurants for take out.
