Nearby excursions can take you from adventurous horseback riding or zip-line over a waterfall to a relaxing massages, fine dining or long languid stroll on the beach. Close by from the Technicolor waters and white sands of Anaeho'omalu Bay (A-Bay), spot turtles relaxing on the lava rocks. Don't miss the hidden black sand beach, hike along Fishermen's Trail.

Waikoloa Beach Resort located about 19 miles north of Keahole-Kona Airport. This village surrounded in Lava provides visitors with a variety of activities such as boats, golf, Hotels, restaurants, shopping center, and beach. Waikoloa is centrally located on the island making it easy to travel and explore the north, south and east side of the island. Visit nearby Hapuna Beach for boogie boarding or check out Mauna Kea Resort for swimming, snorkeling and gorgeous views.

Halii Kai

Halii Kai at Waikoloa beach resort is a 29-acre oceanfront resort, along an ocean golf course and the Pacific Ocean with luxurious 2-3 bedroom townhomes in a park-like setting with plenty of grassy areas. This gated complex has different views; ocean, mountain, golf course, and garden. Has an Ocean club overlooking the Pacific ocean where owner and guests can enjoy.

It was everything we could have wished for! Clean, beautiful views, and so well appointed. All the small touches of Hawaii and the treats were thoughtful and yummy. Having access to the beach towels and chairs, snorkel gear and even sunscreen was fabulous. You all thought of everything!! Thank you for helping our honeymoon be truly spectacular.

Awesome 10 days

Short walk to pool. Short drive to many beaches including Hapuna and Mauna Kea. Great location and very clean. Would come back for sure!

Great Kohala Coast Condo

This was our second time staying at Hali'i Kai, first time in this specify unit. The resort in general is great and located extremely close to A Bay which is an awesome beach for families. The unit itself was very well adorned and clean. Communication with the management staff was prompt and courteous. We will be coming back!

Exceeded Expectations

This unit was beautiful. It would be perfect for 2 couples or a small family trip. The view to the ocean and sunsets was better than expected and the community was quiet. The pool area was beautiful and the restaurant there was always great (one of the best pulled pork sandwiches I’ve had). If I had one complaint it would be the lack of shady spots around the pool, which can lead to crispy tourists :-). I would book this property again!

Love this spot

We had a wonderful time at Hali'i Kai 7D. The condo has a decent amount of space and large bedrooms, and the view off the lanai is divine. It's only a short walk (5 minutes or so) to the pool and ocean club. One huge bonus - the kitchen comes equipped with all the cooking essentials you'll need - cooking oil, salt, pepper, garlic, and a number of other spices. That's a huge benefit since purchasing those things can really add up. I also appreciate there's a coffee grinder. The property manager Adriana was incredibly responsive. We'll be back soon, I hope!

Great 2 Bedroom condo in Waikolao Resort Area

The condo was very nice and as described; clean and well stocked. View from the lanai was beautiful with the golf course and the ocean. The beach club for the complex was a relatively short walk and had a great pool, great food and drinks and super staff. Adriana was most helpful in providing check-in information and answering any questions. There are many restaurants a short drive away and also several good beaches also a short drive away. We enjoyed the walks in the surrounding area and some golf. Only major item missing, at least for us, was a BBQ on the lanai. We knew this from the information provided and we planned to use the common area BBQ's but they turned out to be a fair distance away from the condo and thus not very practical to use. Only other minor item would be some nicer furniture for the lanai; what was there was ok and very functional however, since we spent so much time on the lanai, it would be the place for upgrading. Overall if you are not really into BBQing this is a great condo and I would highly recommend it.

I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The unit was too far from the pool and restaurant. No access to ocean.Furniture, bedding and kitchen supplies/equipment not the quality one would expect in this type of place. Everything was the lowest end possible (plastic plates, etc.) Advertisement was misleading and dishonest.Agent communicated timely but refuses to acknowledge the above observations.None of this was evident from the advertisement.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My husband and I stayed in this condo for 10 days in March. We absolutely loved everything about this unit. The condo has everything you need. A fully stocked kitchen with plenty of dishes, glassware, silverware, cooking utensils, a blender, toaster, pots and pans, even an Instant Pot! There are beach chairs, a beach umbrella, some bogey boards and a few beach toys. There is a full size washer and dryer! We loved the lanai with the beautiful ocean view and enjoyed breakfasts and sunsets from there. Although we didn’t experience any problems while there, I knew if there was anything it would be quickly addressed because Adriana (the property manager I dealt with) was extremely helpful as we were going through the rental process and answering all the questions I had prior to our arrival. The bed in the master bedroom was comfortable and you also have a view of the ocean from this bedroom. The pool on the property was also wonderful. I will absolutely consider this condo the next time we come to the Big Island!

Return to the big island

The check in process went smoothly. The condo had everything we needed and was very clean. The view from the Lanai was breath taking. The condo info said it slept six. It would because there are three beds. That can be an issue. Also check out time is 10:00 am. Our flt left at 4:30pm. Most flights leaving the island are late afternoon flts. A later check out time would have been more convenient. All in all it’s a beautiful condo.

Beautiful property! Condo was very clean and well stocked! We were welcomed with Hawaiian music and snacks after a long day of travel. The property manager Adriana is fabulous! The pool area is beautiful and the pool restaurant has the BEST NACHOS! We will return ❤️

Great option for a short vacation

we stayed at this property for about a week, overall had a great experience. Check-in was simple, apartment was clean and had beach towels available for us to use, parking for one car plus guest parking, pool/gym area had a great view. Kona is about 30-40 mins away. There are a couple of restaurants in Waikoloa but a lot more options available in Kona.
