This luxurious resort condominium with spectacular views is located along the 12th fairway of the Waikoloa Beach Golf Course and is exclusive only to residents and guests. From the shimmering blue ocean and breathtaking fiery sunsets, to the volcanic mountain top of Mauna Kea and the sound of rustling palm trees, you cannot help but to feel you have landed somewhere very special!

This 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom condo is sitting on 30 acres of oceanfront resort property, this well appointed rental has all the luxuries to make you feel right at home. The furnishings, the authentic Hawaiian art, and the brand new 65 -inch Samsung smart TV with bluetooth surround sound system will make your stay that much more enjoyable. The gourmet and spacious kitchen has granite countertops and cherry wood cabinets. There is plenty of seating for dining as the kitchen bar top seats three and the interior dining table can seat up to six. Additionally, the back lanai, with its fabulous ocean and golf course views, offers dining for up to six people as well as a gas BBQ for outdoor grilling.

The master bedroom has a king bed, with glass sliding doors that lead out to a large private lanai with two chaise lounges where you can watch the whales breach. The other two bedrooms each have queen beds. Like the kitchen, all of the bathrooms have granite countertops and cherry wood cabinets. The master bath is extra luxurious and boasts a soaking tub with a separate glass enclosed shower with an optional window into the master bedroom. Ceiling fans throughout the home and the breezy trade winds will keep you cool and comfortable on even the warmest of days.

We loved this condo - it has everything you need and it's light and bright. The rooms are beautifully done and very comfortable. The kitchen was one of the best stocked kitchens I have had on a rental! We enjoyed having beach towels, scuba gear and boogie boards at our disposal. The community club and pool were very nice - the pool location was stunning. We would love to stay here again in the future.

Fantastic resort

Beautiful property and condo- plenty of space, very clean, thoughtful setup and convenient location. If you want to shop, there are several plazas only a mile away. If you donā€™t feel like leaving, the pool is beautiful and there is a restaurant on site. They keypad door entry is super convenient for the day you arrive- no worries if you get there late, youā€™re still good to go! Definitely will stay here again.

Wonderful property! Everything you want in a vacation rental. The views are outstanding! We already miss the beautiful ocean view from the lanai having our morning coffee. Also one of the best locations to watch a sunset. Very spacious and extremely clean condo and bedrooms each have a bathroom available so everyone has privacy. Highly recommend!

Wonderful vacation home

The condo was spacious, clean, comfortable and homey. Both lanais gave us wonderful views of the ocean, whales and fantastic sunsets. The condo had a large washer and dryer plus a closet full of beach supplies: chairs, towels, coolers and more. A short walk to the pool area with even better views of whales included a very nice bar and restaurant. The only downside, which isnā€™t much, was the 2 extra bedrooms did not have great views but the master was extra nice. I would certainly stay here again.

A home away from home

We have stayed in other units at Haliā€™i Kai, but this one is by far our favorite! Our group consisted of a grandmom, two parents and two kids under 10. We had plenty of room for everyone to have their own space, and the living room/dining room was big enough for dinners and movie nights. Everything in the unit was in great condition and it was well stocked. They also provide beach chairs, umbrellas and toys which our kids loved!

Restful Getaway

We loved our recent stay here! The unit was beautifully decorated and comfortable -- a restful getaway after our busy days exploring the island. We loved relaxing on the main lanai while enjoying dinner and the sunset views over the ocean! I especially enjoyed the luxurious master suite with its own private lanai overlooking the fairway and the ocean beyond. Every thoughtful detail made this upstairs condo at Haliā€™I Kai truly a memorable place to stay on the Big Island... from its beauty and comfort to all of the practical essentials that were provided, including the complete set of spices and supplies in the kitchen to the closet full of beach items. We certainly hope to return to this lovely spot again someday!

We had a great trip, we had 5 adults and 1 child. The condo is a 3 bed with 3 full bath giving everyone space and privacy when needed. Beautiful ocean and Mountain Viewā€™s to wake up to. Kitchen and bathrooms were clean and well equipped. Plenty of seating for everyone when having dinner or hanging out in the evening. Upscale furnishings for inside and outside and very comfortable beds in each room. Hardwood flooring through the first floor. I would recommend this condo to anyone and would return here on our next trip. Thank you for the stay.

Home was well stocked with all needs from daily needs (spices, dishes, laundry) to pleasure (coolers, boogie boards, snorkel gear). This home had more than what was in the listing. Amazing pool with friendly clubhouse employees. Only downfall is if you have sensitive back mattress are near the end of their life or need mattress pads. Otherwise highly recommend

Beautiful condo near the ocean!

We had a lovely time in Waikoloa! The grounds were beautiful and the property was very quiet. There are a lot of rules. We were not able to bring our own water bottles into the pool area and the woman there was very rude to many guests about water bottles near the pool and others playing music by the pool. They do provide water near the pool in small cups. There is also a fee each day to use the pool, that I was unaware of when I booked. You definitely need a car to stay here. I really enjoyed waking up each morning and sitting on the lanai. We had a great time overall, the service at the pool was very poor for us.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My husband had a conference next door at the Hilton, but since our adult daughters were joining, we opted to find a rental. Took me a minute to get the lay of the land with all the condos in the area, but Halii Kai could not have been more perfect! The complex itself is very nice, well kept with gated entry. There is a very nice pool with a restaurant/bar on the ocean with spectacular views (no beach access however due to lava). Our unit, 9G was even better than expected and true to the photos. 3BR and 3Ba let my girls have their own space. We ate on the pictured patio every morning for breakfast and watched every sunset and caught a few whale sightings with the binoculars they kindly have for just that purpose! The kitchen was well stocked and even had condiments in the pantry. All the nice touches to make cooking easy. The closet is stocked with every possible beach toy/ accessory needed. For us, we appreciated the chairs/ umbrella (me!) and the cooler and the nice plush beach towels. For younger families, lots of beach toys and snorkel gear stocked for fun! The beds were comfy. The master has its own deck with chaise lounges and a huge bathroom and giant closet which let us hang our clothes and stash our luggage. The property manager was very accessible with our questions (like where was the nearest grocery store!) and the concierge service they provide for free with the rental was a very pleasant and appreciated surprise. Having never been to this island, I knew nothing and they helped me choose quality companies for our excursions and ideas of what to do. We snorkeled at Captain Cook monument and took an amazing ATV waterfall tour up north in the Kohala valley. Both were awesome! I highly highly recommend working with them. We were there in late January and the weather could not have been more perfect 70-80 degrees!! Thank you for a great place.

We chose condo 9G because we needed a 3 bdrm unit for this trip, and it has a great location within an easy walk of the ocean-front pool / clubhouse. This unit was clean, comfortable and fitted our needs perfectly. Lots of beach toys, great laundry, great Weber grill, comfortable beds. There were a few items we were disappointed with, though. When we arrived around 6pm on a very hot day, the temp in the unit was 85 degrees on the 1st floor and the AC was off -- it took a long time to cool down. After a 15 hour flight, standing in long, hot lines at the airport for covid screening, baggage claim, and then the rental car, we would have appreciated walking into a cool condo. It's not as if no one knew we were coming. The kitchen was generally well equipped, but had some disappointing issues. The dishwasher was horribly noisy, and we did not want to run it and stay in the room. The refrigerator was a too small over/under unit and lacked a through-the-door ice/water dispenser. Instead, 2 large Brita-like water filter units sat inside the refrig, and took up a lot of space. The over-the-stove microwave was mounted way too high -- it was fine for anyone over 6 ft tall, but awkward to use for others. Finally, the pull out cupboard unit which would have conveniently held the pots/pans fell apart on our third day, and was not useable thereafter. We fished out the pots/pans we commonly used, and stored them on the countertop instead. This condo deserves better kitchen appliances. A couple of us tried to keep in touch with work, but found the internet access to be rather slow, particularly when the kids were watching TV. There were 3 TVs, and each one was set up differently. We never were able to figure out how to access the Spectrum cable tv service. The only way we could get programming on the kids' bedroom TV was to sign into our own Netflix account. Nice Place!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Very familiar with Hali'i Kai, it's a wonderful property! This large unit offered a good value for us this time traveling with adult children. Everything was clean and in good working order once we figured out we had to restart (unplug for a minute) the wifi router in order for it to work with our devices. The condo was nicely stocked with starter supplies and a few extras in the kitchen and laundry room. The beach towels in the unit were quite worn, however, there was a surprisingly generous stash of beach gear including chairs, umbrella(s), boogie boards, sand toys, and snorkeling equipment. Lovely ocean and golf course views from the balconies which exceeded my expectations for building 9. Most furniture comfortable enough excluding the downstairs bedroom mattress which we judged as so terrible as to be unusable during our stay. Only other small negative would be the carpet stains on the stairs which detracts from the unit appearance. Other than those 2 items, we were satisfied, and would recommend the unit as is with reservations about the downstairs mattress.

Some minor issues along the way but the host did a nice job addressing these.
