Great little resort tucked inside a larger one

We love Halii Kaii because it so beautiful and quiet compared to the larger Waikoloa Beach Resort that surrounds it. Pool and. Ocean Club Grill are real pluses. This property is in the quieter part of Halii Kai. It was clean and had everything to make our stay enjoyable. We plan a return visit.

Great property and location!

This vacation rental was absolutely amazing! It is in a beautiful gated community with quiet streets and awesome amenities. You do have to pay a 25 per day additional fee upon check in to utilize the on-site property pool, restaurant, and exercise facilities. The actual unit included lots of extras that may not have been included in the description. There were boogie boards, a beach, umbrella, cooler, snorkeling masks, and fins, all which were a great addition to this rental! We loved the location as it was close to the beaches that we frequent.

Perfect condo

This was my second time, but husbandā€™s first time, staying at this property. We loved the location and my 9 year old son loved the pool area! Condo was plenty enough space for the 3 of us. It had all of the amenities and fully stocked! I would definitely recommend this place! Mahalo and we canā€™t wait to visit again.

We had an amazing 11 night stay at Hali'i Kai with our family of 4. The property is quiet and pristine with beautiful landscaping and amenities. We regularly used the pool and beach equipment and enjoyed the Waikaloa area. It was nice to have a separate room and beds for the kids and tvs with cable and streaming options to unwind in the evening. Excellent proximity to shops and dining. Highly recommend this property for your next stay in Hawaii.

Great stay in Waikoloa Kona Coast Hali'i Kai

Lovely property near ocean with everything you need for a great vacation or visit. We especially appreciated having tennis rackets and balls available as we all play tennis along with the golf clubs, boogie boards and beach chairs etc. Super location for exploring the entire Kailua-Kona area, many fine beaches and a short drive to Hilo, volcanoes and many other points of interest while residing in the warm Kona sunshine. Pool area, grounds and Ocean Club are beautiful and everything is tastefully decorated and well maintained. We can happily recommend this property and would be delighted to stay with you again. Great Family Condo

We were there with our two adult (ish) kids- ages 18 & 20. Condo was spacious and they each got their own double bed- and bathroom! Primary bedroom was large with a big ensuite. The lanai was lovely as well- even the wild turkey who came to visit each day! No bbq like some other condos had but the communal one wasnā€™t too far away. Long walk to the pool but worth it for the amount of space we had. Pool isnā€™t big enough for the amount of condos on this property- lots of disappointed people with no chairs to be had by 11 am. Overall a gorgeous place to stay!

Parking was a bit of a miss. had to park about 70 yards from the condo. Did not know there was not an elevator. Kind of tough carrying heavy suitcase and golf clubs up the stairs. The condo was nice. The location was not so nice as neighbors were quite noisy.

Halii Kai 20D Unit at Waikoloa Beach Resort

Many condo units in Halii Kai have propane BBQā€™s on the balconies but this one does not so beware if you plan to do your own cooking on a BBQ. Community BBQā€™s are not that close to the unit and also very poorly lit at night so super inconvenient. The unit owners should step up and provide a BBQ. Long walk to the pool and hottub (Ocean Club) so not ideal location. Parking stall is not directly in front of the unit so that was inconvenient. No access to the garage that is right in front of the unit. No ā€œwelcome basketā€ with small snacks after a long travel day to get there. No Keurig coffee machine. No small bag of ground coffee for the old style coffee maker that is in the unit. Ice maker worked but the dispenser didnā€™t so had to dig it out by hand. Washing machine worked but had to be unplugged and plugged back in several times before it would eventually turn on which was frustrating. Master bedroom mattress was extremely firm. Hardest mattress Iā€™ve ever experienced. Unit was well decorated but showing its age despite this. Boogie boards and beach chairs are worn out with use and need replacing but it was nice that the unit had them. All and all, I would stay in a different unit next time I stay at Halii Kai.

Beautiful, and very well equipped condo. Our family was very comfortable and appreciated beach chairs and boogie boards. Pool at property is fantastic as well as availability of pickleball and basketball. Condo had racquets and basketballs available which was also great for my boys. Nice Family Friendly Place

We booked this unit due to the second bedroom with two beds so each of our kids could have their own bed. The room was spacious and kids enjoyed having a large tv in their room too. The unit was well stocked with boogie boards, beach chairs, beach toys, and board games to keep the family entertained. We enjoyed spending time at the community pool and clubhouse. It's in a good location and easily accessible.
