Hilton Head Island will undergo beach renourishment from June through October 2025 to help preserve the shoreline. During this time, small sections of beach (no more than 1,000 feet at a time) may be temporarily closed to pedestrian access as the project moves along. Plenty of beach will remain open and accessible for you to enjoy throughout your stay.
