Located just steps away from the world famous Poipu Beach and Brennecke’s Beach on Kauai’s sunny South Shore, Lei Hali’a is ready to help you create lasting vacation memories from this island paradise. From the spacious and comfortable outdoor living space provided, you may experience dolphins, sea birds, seasonal whales and sea turtles or enjoy a home cooked meal and some unforgettable sunsets and tropical evenings.

Lei Hali’a offers 2 bedrooms, 2 full baths and 2 half baths. Built with privacy in mind, there is a master bedroom located on each floor of the home. Beautifully decorated in an elegant island style, this home is equipped with all of the amenities you will need for a fabulous vacation. The kitchen is stocked with all the cooking utensils and appliances needed to prepare some island grinds. Too hot outside? Both bedrooms have A/C as well as the downstairs living room for your comfort. There is even a laundry room and spacious walk-in closet in case you over packed!

You’ll also find plenty of fun near the home with shopping centers, fine dining and live entertainment nearby or just stay in, relax and enjoy all that Lei Hali’a has to offer. 2 King beds. Sleeper sofa downstairs (queen).

If you have a group larger than 5, you may want to rent Lei Halia's sister, Leipiha ke Aloha, which can sleep 5 and is located on the same plot of land. Perfect for a mini family reunion or multi-generational getaway!

This property includes beach chairs, beach towels, a cooler and umbrella. Please feel free to call us if any of these items are missing during your stay.

Great, well-located house rental for 2 couples

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Lei Hali'a was a great rental for my wife and I at the last minute. We were lucky it was available. The manager was very accommodating and helpful. It would also be an excellent rental if we were traveling with another couple. Everything we needed was in the house and was of high quality: dishes, utensils, cooking supplies, beach chairs, towels, everything. This house is very modern, and the beds were the most comfortable we've experienced in a rental. The location is also really great with an excellent view of the ocean. We could hear the waves, but we were just far enough from the water so that the waves were not loud. The upstairs deck is a great place to have morning coffee and look out at the ocean. The house is close to Poipu Beach public beach which does get crowded with people walking and driving by. It's not really a problem because the house is set back far enough. The only downside of the house is that people in the downstairs bedroom will hear people walking upstairs. In other words, the upstairs people will need to be mindful if people are sleeping below. Also, it takes some maneuvering to park a car in the garage so the smaller your car rental, the better. All in all, this is a great place, and we would rent it again.

Very large and comfortable house. AC worked well in the living room and two bedrooms. I wish there was also AC in the upstairs living area. There was a bit of foot traffic in front of the house, but otherwise the location is hard to beat!

Perfect location, clear view of the beach, short walk. Great lanai, and well equipped, clean, no issues with the stay. Umbrellas, grill, chairs provided. The house was spacious with separate sitting areas upstairs and downstairs. Also appreciated the tankless water heater, since we all wound up taking showers when back from the beach and heading out. Ice machine in fridge, separate wine fridge. Grill new and clean. Highly recommend, and better equipped than most VRBOs.

Very clean. Amazing location. The Green Sea Turtles every evening on Poipu Beach were awe-inspiring. Great communication with Garden Island Rentals. Very prompt attention to a few minor issues. Well-equipped house and kitchen (loved the coffee pot and coffee grinder). Beach chairs, beach umbrellas, and boogie boards were a plus.

Steps from the Beach

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This home and location is perfect! The hosts are fantastic as well responding quickly and very communicative. Pros:1. This house is huge! There is a lot of space in the house but also has a patio and a yard plus a huge public grassy area for your kids to play or use as a great photo opp.2. Well equipped! Has everything you need. Blenders, cookware, rice cooker, bbq, coffee maker, cooler, beach equipment and boogie boards, and toiletries.3. Location! Maybe 50-75 steps to the sand and maybe another 25 steps to the water! You have brenneckes 50 steps away, Poipu beach maybe 200 steps away from brenneckes. You’ll see sea turtles almost every day! Also ship wreck beach has an easy hike where you have to see the sunrise!Cons (not many but figured I would be thorough):1. Parking - yes, there is a 1 car garage and a carport for 1 car. The driveway and angle to park in these spots is a bit difficult. I rented a crossover SUV and it was fine but I can imagine a full size SUV might be a little harder to park. Not a big deal but worth mentioning.2. Towels - I think this goes for all beach house rentals due to the humidity but recommend to bring your own bath towels or just purchase some if you want fresh smelling and fluffy towels.Overall, great property and would 100% recommend renting for your next vacation!

The location is perfect and overall we really enjoyed our stay. The only issue we had was noise. Our neighbors partied every night until the wee hours. We understand people are on vacation but excessive noise, music and shouting is taking it too far. I would also suggest that the rental company consider providing a small starter pack for renters. When you arrive late and don’t even have a bottle of water or a couple coffee pods for the morning- it’s not fun. Just a few items until guests can get to a grocery would be great- at least water. Overall, great house in a great location.

Amazing Holiday Home

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: A group of 9 family members stayed in Poipu for the holidays and this house (home to 4 adults) was our central hub. What a fabulous location, layout, and assistance! The house was immaculate and well suited to our intergenerational family dynamic, and the location next to the beach was so fun and handy. We could have easily had a few kids stay here if needed, but thankfully only had the crew over for dinners on the big lanai. The house was probably the best equipped kitchen of any rental we've ever had in more than 10 years of these types of gatherings, and the management group was on top of everything - from our arrival and questions, so special requests. I would HIGHLY recommend this group and this property to families looking for an amazing Poipu experience.

Kauai Heaven

Amazing location with ocean views from every room (except the bathrooms). The house is beautiful and well appointed. Drinks and dinner on the lanai many evenings, great ocean swimming and boogie boarding just steps away. It doesn’t get much better than this. We will definitely stay in this house again.

The Best Family Vacation

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is our second stay at the Lei Hali'a rental home.We were the second guest to stay here 5 years ago after it was built. We also rented the Leipiha ke Aloha home next door for other members of our family this year. This home has been updated with new furnishings and colors and is incredibly comfortable and beautiful. There is nothing in Kauai that has all the amenities this home has.Poipu is on the sunny side of the island.This home is in front of the best beach on Kauai for body surfing and bogey boarding and daily swims with the sea turtles. Once you load up at Costco by the airport, you can find all your other needs at the close by farmers market, local grocery stores, and restaurants, all within 3-4 miles of this location. Suggestions:Recommend the BBQ be replaced.The fire only covers the back cooking surface.This is the same Weber we used 5 years ago and it is timeor a new one. There is one drawback we noticed this stay.Directly across the street is a family compound of 4 homes.We had 20+ parents and children staying there. Playtime in the afternoon was sometimes noisy,so being outside on the lanai was a hit and miss for quiet time. I am certain this will change once school is back in session.

There is a path in front of the house that goes to the beach in one direction, and to Shipwreck beach and the Grand Hyatt resort in the other direction. Two very comfortable king bedroom suites. We would definitely stay here again. Do know that the BBQ is in the garage, and not on lanai.

I almost don’t want to say how good this place is; once the secret is out it will be fully booked YEARS in advance! Perfect in every way: spotless, inviting, close to amazing sights, tennis only $60 a week nearby, location, location, location. BOOK IT NOW
