Great place!

Definitely a five-star! Our family of seven especially enjoyed the use of the bikes, the private pool, and of course the 6-minute walk to a beautiful beach, complete with the large blue umbrella and chairs already set out daily for us. Also the en-suites for four of the bedrooms (6 adults) were greatly appreciated. Would stay again if we ever get back to Rosemary Beach.

Beautiful home. Great management company to work with, check in process was easy. It was a short walk to the beach. Home needed better pots and pans, but other than that it was very nice. Really enjoyed our stay.

Fall Break in Rosemary

FIVE STARS!! Positioned between Rosemary and Inlet beach, just at the end of 30A before merging with Hwy 98. Excellent location for a short bike ride or walk to shopping and stores in Rosemary. Short walk down a shaded boardwalk and side street to the beach. The house was lovely, spacious, clean and well maintained. There were 4 adults, 4 teenagers and one child in our group. Would gladly stay at this property in the future. Appreciated the gated community and security of the location. FIVE STARS!!

Great stay!

Fantastic property. Family of 8 adults, one infant, and one young child. Safe for the kids (door alarm on the door going out to the pool, generally child proof indoors). Easy to navigate for older grandparents. Easy walk to the beach. Easy walk into Rosemary Beach town center for food / shopping / activities. 4 beach chairs available to carry down with you. We also bought a beach umbrella & left it on the property for future use. Bikes are great! Beds comfortable, plenty of space for everyone, clean. TV worked well. Plenty of cozy blankets to sit outside on the wrap around porches in the evenings & read. Opted to have the pool heated, which was great for the rainy days because it was warm enough to swim. Loved that we had more space in Inlet / Pinecrest than you get in Rosemary.

Worst property management company

No response from the property Management company in a timely manor. THEY NEVER RESOLVED THE ISSUES. We never got beach chairs. House was not very clean - the white fans were especially dirty with black dust all over them. Worst property management ever! The actual house is great and in a great location and has everything inside it that you would need.

We apologize about the beach chairs but due to the approaching storm, we let you know that the beach vendor was unable to set them up. The white ceiling fans have cloth covers that are going to be replaced shortly. The fan wasn’t dusty, the cloth was stained. We sent a property manager to you who spoke with you about your situation but the cleanliness of the home was never mentioned or we would have taken care of that for you. Thank you for your feedback, we hope you were able to enjoy your stay.

Inlet Beach Review

The house is beautiful, and the layout is nice, especially for multiple families. Unfortunately, it was not well cleaned. I spilled a little water on the kitchen floor the first day, and the towel was BLACK after I wiped it up. Same for kiddos feet at the end of the day. Bathroom mirror messy- mystery splash/stains on it. Kitchen and living room furniture had some staining. Proximity to beach isn’t terrible, but it is further than it seemed in the listing. Finally, a bit disappointed by the leasing company’s flexibility. Our stay was during the Covid-19 pandemic. Real Joy offered ZERO compromise or flexibility with canceling/rescheduling. Beach and community pool closed the last two days of our stay.

Nice stay

The house had a great layout & furnished perfectly for our family get together. One set of blinds was broken in the master bedroom that I couldn’t get an appropriate response from the management company on. I’m a bit confused as to why a broken blind (with a note on it stating it’s being repaired) wasn’t replaced before renters came in. It was on the front of the house & prevented any privacy at night with lights on in the room. Other than that, the house had a well stocked kitchen for cooking & entertaining with my family. We found the location to be perfect for walking to the beach & restaurants. It was a actually a fairly quiet location for spring break dates.

Great house… great location

A much needed get-away with family especially our 2 grand daughters who just turned two. The house and location to the beach was amazing! The beach was a hop, skip, and a jump away! Best time in a long time!

Property Close to Very Busy Intersection

This is the email sent to the rental company on day 2 of our 4-day stay. We never received a response. We did not include in this note the fact that this house is less than 50 feet away from the intersection of 30A and Hwy 98. This is a very noisy location ... Good Afternoon: I am writing to formally express my concerns about the condition of the home we are leasing through Real Joy Vacations. I have attached to this email evidence of repairs needed at the home. Please note the damaged paneling in the den as you enter the main living area, the television in the den that does not work, and a shower in one of the bedrooms on the 2nd floor that does not work. We texted as requested and a representative of Real Joy came about an hour ago. She could not get the television to work and she saw the problem with the shower which should have also been easily detected by anyone cleaning the home prior to our rental. While it would have been nice for my guest to be able to use the shower in her bathroom, we opted to not continue the disruption of having a repair person in the home during our stay and we hope that you will be more considerate of the next guests that rent this home. The rep indicated that Real Joy would not repair the television during our entire stay and we asked that no additional people come to the house to repair the shower when she was not able to - due to caution around exposure to COVID. These are clearly long-standing issues at the house that required repair PRIOR to our stay. I am frustrated that we cannot use the television in the main family area of the house and that one of our guests cannot use their shower. Additionally, the curtain rods for the back porch are extremely rusty and have stained the curtains themselves. I'm sure you know these are unacceptable conditions for what could be a truly lovely property. Thank you,

Jann, we appreciate you taking the time to provide us with some feedback regarding your vacation rental experience while staying in Casa del Mar, a 5-bedroom/5.5-bathroom Spanish-style home in the gated Pinecrest community of Inlet Beach. This rental is located on 30A, one of the busiest, most popular roads in the area. All intersections are busy with visitors and locals alike. When made aware of the following issues that you were concerned with, a team member showed up in person to the house to address these issues. Guests are advised ahead of time via the arrival notes that the damaged paneling is present in the home. The owner is aware of the issue as well as the rust on the curtain rods and curtains and is planning on having these issues fixed once this property is vacant. This property has been booked constantly. The television is in working condition and the arrival notes provide information on how to operate it. While we do understand your frustration regarding a shower not working properly, this home provided four other functioning showers for guests to use. We offered for someone to come and fix the shower that was not working properly, but this offer was refused due to you not wanting anyone else in the property at the time of your visit. We would have been more than happy to remedy any of these issues that you have commented on had we been given permission to enter the property during your stay. Great getaway

Great location. Short walk to the beach. House is well equipped to cook and grill at home. Bikes were nice to ride to nearby towns. Would be nice to have a binder with useful info, check out instructions, restaurant menus and such that I have seen in other VRBO type of properties.

Nice but not perfect

Nice size master and common gathering spaces. Upstairs bedrooms tight especially bunk room. Not for the claustrophobic. Floors dirty, crawling baby not recommended, plan to wear shoes or have dirty feet/socks. Unexpected jackhammering everyday starting early and spanning the day ruined any option to enjoy the pool or outdoor seating areas which was very disappointing given we paid for the extra amenities. Should have been disclosed or price adjustment accordingly.

Beautiful home- comfortable living area space for everyone- beds were comfortable and loved having individual bathrooms— had 2 minor issues and they were fixed immediately with follow-up texts! Excellent customer service! Easy walk to the beach and downtown Rosemary! Would highly recommend!!
