Starburst - One lot off beach, private beach for only 34 homes, private pool

Here are our current specials:
• One free beach setup (2 beach chairs, beach umbrella) for all reservations March through November.

Starburst Beach House is located in the private gated community of Waters Edge, which adjoins Rosemary Beach on the west side. Waters Edge has its own private beach and, with only 34 homes in the entire neighborhood, the people density on the beach is low. As a result, Waters Edge is very popular with vacationers seeking the "perfect place" along 30-A.

Starburst Beach House is only row off the beach, and is conveniently located right next to the path to the beach. You can step out of the house and onto the path, walk the length of one lot (about 100 feet) and you are at the steps down to the beach. There are only two homes in the entire community with shorter walks to the beach. So it's easy and convenient to go back and forth between the house and the beach.

This beautiful home has its own small private pool, which can be heated for a small fee.

With five large bedrooms (3 kings, a queen and a bunk room), four and one-half bathrooms and 10-foot ceilings, this beautiful beach home is perfect for 12 guests to sleep and unwind comfortably.

Here's the layout:

1st floor:
• Entry foyer
• King bedroom
• Queen bedroom
• Jack & Jill bathroom shared by the King and Queen bedrooms
• Bunk room (sleeps 4)
• Private bathroom for the bunk room

2nd floor:
• Main living area
• Kitchen
• Dining area
• Powder room (half bath)
• King primary suite with it's own large bathroom (including a large walk-in double shower)
• Gulf-side dining balcony
• Street-side balcony off king bedroom

3rd floor:
• King primary suite with it’s own large bathroom (including a walk-in shower and a separate large soaking tub
• Separate sitting room with wet bar and small refrigerator
• Gulf-side balcony

Electronics:
• Whole-house mesh WiFi system for fast, reliable internet and streaming
• Large flat screen TVs in the main living area and the four main bedrooms. Free YouTube TV, Netflix and Amazon Prime Video on Demand (pay content is available by reimbursing owner)
• Quality mini-audio system connected to TV in main living area (with bluetooth for playing your own music via your smart phone or tablet)

On the beach side of the house, you can enjoy the outdoors in the pool and sunbathing area, which is completely enclosed by a stucco privacy fence. The fenced-in area includes a large two-burner natural gas grill (no propane bottles to deal with) and a gate opening directly onto the path to the beach walkover.

Starburst sleeps 12 guests comfortably: three kings, a queen, and a bunk room with four full-length twin beds. Parking for three cars (one covered) on the parking pad at Starburst, with a 4th parking spot available on Geoff Wilder Lane close to the house.

Saturday to Saturday rentals only. Non-smoking. No pets.

The location of the house was absolutely perfect. Hunter was very easy to reach. Only complaint was that the beds are not that comfortable but otherwise we had a wonderful stay.

Great stay in Rosemary

Traveled for a week to Starburst and it was an amazing time! Went with 6 kids under 8 and the house felt comfortable. Location couldn’t be beat and communication with owner was proactive and great. Will definitely be back!

such a great stay at this beach house! Close walk to the beach , nice gated community in the heart of Rosemary and just steps away from Alys. The house was clean had all the kitchen essentials, comfy beds and the host was excellent! We will definitely be back.

Incredible stay at Starburst

Truly cannot say enough about how amazing our stay at Starburst was. The location is perfect. Steps to the most beautiful beach, and a short walk to restaurants, shops and the charming Rosemary Beach. The house itself is beautifully decorated and the kitchen is stocked with any kind of pan or utensil you may want. The pool was really handy on cooler windy days, definitely opt to pay the extra to have it heated if you’re not there during the warmer months!

Perfect Week !

Wonderful home in a great location within a gated community. Rosemary Beach Square a block east and Ally's Beach a quick jaunt to the west. Short walk to the beautiful beach. Pool was perfect for a quick dip after the beach and the kids loved it. Hunter is a great host.

Ideal location and perfect for large family

This rental was PERFECT in many ways! The location was ideal to the beach, resturants, and shops. The pool was great with small children who couldn't tolerate the beach all day, but still wanted to play in the water. The owner stocked the house very well. I was so impressed that I even left a view items to restock them! Communication and suggestions were excellent! A GEM of a place!!

Amazing Home in a Perfect Spot!

We only have great things to say about Hunter's home, Starburst.The location can't be beat! It is steps away from the private beach, perfectly situated in a fantastic neighborhood right in the heart of Rosemary Beach. After spending the day on the beach, it was lovely to just shower and walk across the street to grab dinner or drinks. We've spent many a spring break along 30A and this home is, by far, one of our favorites!The home is beautiful and well-appointed. It's a small thing, but Starburst has hooks everywhere: by the door to the pool, in the bathrooms, by the front door, etc. Having a place to hang bath towels, beach towels, baseball hats, etc. is incredibly helpful.The TVs had Rokus with access to Netflix and YouTubeTV, so the boys were easily able to watch the NCAA tournament games.If you are looking for a place to stay in Rosemary Beach or along 30a, we highly recommend Starburst! We would happily stay there again!

Beautiful Rosemary Beach Home

This home is in the best location in the area. It is perfectly situated right next to all the restaurants and shops of Rosemary Beach and conveniently directly across the street from Peddlers Village. It is also right on the beach access path and just a few short steps to the sand and water. The house is spacious and well maintained. I loved the security of a gated entrance and enjoyed the lack of crowds on the private beach compared to the packed beach at Seacrest. We loved it and hope to come back soon!

Great Location

The location was great. Located in a gated community, and the second house from the beach. There was plenty of room for everyone. It was nicely furnished and had a homey feel. The kitchen was well stocked with new appliances, and plenty of cooking utensils. The host was very nice and answered all our questions immediately. Rosemary Beach is such a cool area to visit. We have been here before and will be back again. Thank you Hunter for sharing your beautiful home with us.

Excellent Vacation!

Perfect house, beach, location, etc. This was our first trip to this location, and now we will be regulars. I visited with my spouse, two children and two in laws. We only needed 3 bedrooms, but there were 5. We could have comfortably fit 6 more people. The beach was perfect. Beach chair service was excellent. The location couldn’t be better. We didn’t drive our cars once the entire week. Everything was within a 5 or 10 minute walk. Gated community, wrist band access, great security. The Owner, Hunter, had everything perfectly organized and set up. He was available 24/7, but I didn’t need to contact him once because his emails, and in house instructions were very well organized. Excellent set up, location, service, etc. Highly recommend!

Beautiful, conveniently located property

Our week at Starburst was wonderful. With 6 adults and 6 kids under 10, we walked into a very clean, well laid out, well labeled and well stocked home. The location was key as we didn't have to get in a car after arriving for days as we were able to walk to restaurants, stores, live music, etc. The security of the neighborhood and access to the beach were great. The communication with the owner was incredibly efficient leading up to the trip. While, we didn't need the owner during the trip, I'm confident that if we did, that communication would have been just as good. We are making plans to visit again.

Perfect Family Spring Break

We had a wonderful experience for our first trip to 30A. Starburst was the perfect house: great location, so close to the beach and easily accessible to shops and restaurants. I really appreciated the daily beach set up that came with the house. The beach is less crowded than other parts because it serves this cute, small neighborhood. House was well appointed with all the things we needed and easily slept 8 adults and 3 children. The grill worked perfectly and the small pool was a favorite with the kids. All in all a great trip and I hope we can return one day.

Family Vacation

Salt & Pepper is the only food product that was there when we checked in. I have never rented a vacation home that did not have a few spices at least. Start up products were at a bare minimum. Very nice property. They should charge a couple dollars more to upgrade basic supplies for families checking in.

It doesn't get any better!

Starburst worked out fabulously for my family of 8. The house was clean, well stocked and labeled with instructions where needed. We easily fit 3 cars in the drive. The layout of the house flows smoothly. The location was great - just a few steps to the beach and walking distance to shops and restaurants. It was easy to communicate with the owner. He gave delailed information and answered all my questions promptly. We hope to return to this lovely home in the future.

Fabulous House, great location

I was really impressed with this house and the overall location. We’ve rented at Rosemary several times, but this house gave us the best location with private beach access, along with great access to Rosemary Square and Peddlers Pavilion. Best of all the house was equipped with many of the basic things that are often missing and overlooked at other places such as salt/pepper/spices, ample pots/pans, utensils, trash bags. It may seem trivial, but when you go on vacation and have to buy pans, utensils, or a simple potholder for a house for a week it’s irritating. The house had all the necessities for us. We had plenty of room for 9 of us and the rooms were all a good size and clean and all were connected with a bathroom. Communication with the property manager was quick and responsive. Our pool heater was not working when we arrive on Saturday and he had someone there Monday morning (Sunday was Easter). The only negative is that the pool is on the small size so we were in it very little as the kids felt it was to small to play in it. We enjoyed our stay at the house very much and would definitely stay there again in the future. Highly recommend!!

Good location but old and outdated. Noisy due to closely built houses.

OUTSIDE: Pool could be cleaner - Pool was dirty compared to other neighbors. Debris on bricks filled pool every day and clogged drain. Pool furniture/ patio furniture extremely uncomfortable- needs replacement. Gas Grill was not stable, wobbly. Construction crew replacing back neighbors siding and painting. Pounding and yelling 4 days in a row. Construction crew parked their truck and building trailer on driveway right next to pool. We couldn’t use the pool during the day. They peered over the pool wall every time they passed. Neighbors in Vie de Sol next door brought 4 dogs barking at all hours morning, noon and night. Had to reach out to owner via VRBO and ask if she could help. Property was supposed to be pet free and renters violated policy. Houses are very close so you hear everything. INSIDE: Regulating house temperature was a challenge- we were either freezing or sweating the whole time due to thermostat covering multiple floors/areas- needs to be fixed. Refrigerator was freezing food in back and having to check the doors were always aligned was annoying some times - old. I wouldn’t consider this a luxury, ocean view vacation house as the VRBO keyword search says. There is no ocean view as photos suggest. Photos are old. The house is 20 years + old, Bathrooms were small (no dual sinks), small kitchen, small common areas. House has been maintained, but not updated. 3.9 house, 4.9 on hosts/housekeeper promptness to concerns, 4.25 location

Starburst holiday

Renting the house was very easy to do. The owner sent us information before and during our stay which helped so much. It was our first time to rent thru Vrbo. the house was well appointed worked so well for our family of all age groups. We would definitely rent it again.

Quiet neighborhood/private beach

We had a Peaceful stay in a delightful location. The house was very close to the beach walkway. Across the street from the neighborhood, there was a small grocery store that served burgers, a pizza place, an Italian place, a seafood place, and an ice cream place . This was all within walking distance or biking distance. This is the perfect neighborhood for having a peaceful vacation. If you’re wanting a rowdy experience, I would stay somewhere else. There is also a great beach bar called crabby Steve’s located next door in High Point. It’s open for lunch and closes at Sunset. Everything was as pictured, but the pool is a plunge pool, so it’s pretty small. All the pools are like that in the neighborhood. You can still enjoy them though & they are perfect for kids. The kitchen was set up very well with trash bags and hand soap was in every bathroom. I’d pick up extra toilet paper and bring shampoo etc. The kitchen was well-stocked. They don’t have a crockpot, so bring one if you use one. With so many good restaurants nearby, you’ll probably want to eat out or pick food up!
