Perfect for two people, this spotless, newly renovated and well-appointed apartment will provide a relaxing retreat to enjoy your vacation. Nestled by the shore of Union Bay, this second-floor apartment (stairway access) is quiet and private, yet close to everything you may want to enjoy--shopping, antiquing, great restaurants/bars, hiking, biking, kayaking, sight-seeing, beaches, whale watching, golfing, Schoodic Peninsula, Lamoine State Park Beach to name a few!! Sea Glass Way has a living room, kitchen/dining room, 1 bedroom with a queen bed, 1 full bath with washer/dryer. Ample, well-lit area for parking, front deck with bar table and chairs, outdoor picnic area with gas grill. Kitchen has all cooking utensils needed including Keurig, Mr. Coffee. Secure keyless entrance door lock. There are two sets of stairs (one inside and one outside) to access the apartment. The views of Union Bay, from the deck, are spectacular!

We loved our stay here! The location is perfect. Close to town, yet far enough to enjoy the peace and quiet. Truly the best of both worlds. We will miss having our coffee on the front porch every morning. Super clean. Wonderful hosts. We can’t say enough great things!

We enjoyed your immaculate and well-decorated apartment. We saw deer in the yard every day and starry skies at night, quiet and peaceful. We drove into Bar Harbor and Acadia NP every day. Thank you for the recommendation to eat at the Union River Lobster Pot, delicious seafood!

Sea Glass Place was a very clean and comfortable rental with all the amenities for a vacation on the coast. The location provided beautiful and serene views of the bay in a quiet neighborhood great for walking or relaxing outside on the deck. It was a 25 minute drive to Bar Harbor and an hour to Bangor or Portland. I highly recommend for your next couples getaway.

Amazing stay!

Maine Trip

We enjoyed our stay at the Sea Glass Apartment. It was clean, comfy, and very well furnished for our needs. The owners provided lots of useful information about the area. The location was spectacular with stunning views of the nearby bay.

Great place to stay!!

This little apartment was perfect! Super clean and well stocked with EVERYTHING you could want. Hosts super responsive as well. A quiet place to stay, with a view of the bay and the smell of the ocean! We especially loved sitting out on the deck!

Beautiful and Quiet Get a Way

This apartment was beyond what we imagined. Very clean and comfortable with everything you would need for your vacation stay. The view was beautiful and the deer we saw everyday was an added bonus. We would recommend this property to anyone visiting Maine.

Acadia visit

This place was a perfect home base for our visit to Acadia. Apartment was clean, fully stocked to accommodate all our cooking and has storage to keep our bikes inside. Very quiet and peaceful.

The view of the water was very nice. It was just about a 40 min drive from Acadia. It is a large apartment that is well furnished. It's very quiet.

Dear Lisa and Ron, Yes, our rental is advertised as quiet, private, and off the beaten path. Also, we are within a few minutes of Acadia National Park, shopping centers, and restaurants. We love our rural setting, and our guests give high reviews just for this! So, sorry you had nothing but rainy weather while here. Maybe that's what made our rental seem "dark" to you!

Like most of our guests, we love what the state of Maine has to offer. We enjoy walking, hiking, biking at Acadia National Park and many other local trails. We also enjoy visiting the local beaches and eating fresh seafood! During our Maine winters, we love to travel the world and appreciate a nice, clean, comfortable vacation rental. This is the same experience we want to offer our guests at Sea Glass Way on Union Bay!

We are five minutes from shopping centers, EV charging, and gas/convenient stores. We live in a safe, rural neighborhood with wonderful, caring neighbors.

You will enjoy views of Union Bay, Western Bay, and Mount Desert Island from our property. We have daily visits from many types of wildlife including deer, turkey, and an occasional friendly rabbit! Sitting on the front deck and watching the seals, eagles, and osprey search for their next meal in the Union Bay, is so relaxing and entertaining!
