Waterfront Cape Cod Cottage in private Association Beach community, sleeps 6

This wonderful waterfront home is a in a picture perfect setting! Situated between two ponds, it offers breathtaking water views from all angles, privacy in the backyard and is just a minute walk away from the sandy beach at Buck's Pond. Walk right out the door to swimming, kayaking, paddle boarding, and fishing.

Our Cottage offers 2 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. The Master Suite has a Queen Bed, walk-in closet and full bathroom. The second Bedroom has a Full bed and built-in twin bunk beds. The second shared Full Bathroom is just down the hall and includes a full bathtub. The Family room includes seating, gas fireplace, large TV and family games galore! The Kitchen includes ample countertop space and all the amenities for preparing meals including a dishwasher. The Dining room has a large table with a full view of the pond in the backyard. Private backyard with Pond Access, large deck, built in propane grill, Fire Pit with wood included, multiple seating areas with outdoor table and couches, and of course a hammock to relax by the pond.

Amenities: Kayaks, Paddle Board, Bikes, Tennis Rackets, Fishing Rods, Beach Toys, Beach umbrella and cart. Mini split AC units in the master bedroom and dining room along with a window unit in the second bedroom ensure the home is kept comfortable on the days the cool breeze from the pond is not sufficient!

Linens are included with every booking, including bedding, towels, and beach towels. Linen and cleaning are included in the nightly rate, not as add on fees.

Kitchen is well appointed with all necessary cooking utensils, Keurig coffee maker, and basic condiments. Trash bags and other paper products are also included. Access to washing machine and dryer included.

Easy access to everything the Cape has to offer including the bike trail, restaurants, hiking, Red River Beach, Harwichport, and Chatham! Close proximity to Wequassett Resort, ideal for additional wedding guests.

Perfect location! Easy drive to Orleans, Chatham Harwich Port and even Yarmouth for lots of fun activities for kids - even when it rains! Property is lovely with newly redone deck, bbq and fire pit. Very short walk to fabulous Buck’sPond - very private with wide sandy beach and kayaks. Very fun time!!!

Beautiful Stay

The house was perfect for our family trip (2 adults, toddler, and infant)! We had a blast swimming and paddle boarding at Bucks Pond and were a quick drive away from ocean beaches on all 3 sides of the cape. PJ and Carolyn provided a great guide to the area and their recommendations didn’t disappoint. They were super responsive during our stay as well.

Very comfortable property. Clean and well appointed. Location is great. We enjoyed days at the lake, with the Kayaks and paddle board, while only being a short ride from several ocean beaches. Kitchen and grill were perfect for eating in occasionally. Bedrooms, living room and dining area were all comfortable too. I would definitely recommend it.

A peaceful place

A great location to get to all of our favorite places on the cape. Was quiet and relaxing. Enjoyed spending time on the deck and watching the birds in the morning. Bonus to be able to enjoy kayaking and a great pond right across the street.

Peaceful retreat!

We were so excited to visit Cape Cod for the first time and I have to say, this met every expectation. The private pond was so lovely, everyone enjoyed our beach days, including the surprise ice cream truck that stopped by sometimes.... That may have been our kids favorite part of the entire trip. They town was lovely, outdoor restaurants on the harbor, nice stores and really great restaurants. I just can't say enough about how nice this area and the house was. It was nice to be in peace, quiet and a return to nature that was much needed. The hosts were really lovely also and I suspect we will return again. I almost didn't want to write a review, I don't want the house to book up all the time and not be able to return... but it was too good to not support the owners and the great job they do. Thank you so much PJ and Carolyn! We will remember this trip fondly.

Wonderful cottage!!!

This was a perfect vacation cottage for me, my husband and our adult daughter. Extremely well supplied, clean and comfortable. The location was excellent with short walk to swimming pond. We really enjoyed eating out on the deck. Great place!!!

A True Gem

I just cannot say enough good things about this home. It is welcoming from the first minute you pull down the road, driveway and into the house. The homeowners have thought of everything, there is no disappointment here. The location is absolutely fabulous as well. From sitting on the back deck overlooking the pond and greenery, to walking across the road down a cute little path to a wonderful beach and even larger serene pond where the water is so warm you can walk right in. The beach setting is so peaceful, you’ll never want to leave. The kayaks and paddle boards were the most awesome addition to our time on the beach. It was also nice not to have to bring any beach chairs, towels etc. The neighborhood is peaceful and quiet. My family and I have been vacationing in the Cape for the last 11 years and we now know that we need look no further when we return. The breeze that flows through the home from the front to the back is just so soothing when you go to bed at night. The built-in grill on the deck is absolutely superb. You will never go wrong renting this home. Although I never met the owners in person, communication was easy throughout the rental process and beyond. This home and amenities is definitely a win-win.

Wonderful and Relaxing

Mid Cape Delight

Charming. Everything we needed for a late October escape. Peaceful setting on a pond. Could spot water fowl from dining room table. Loved the church pew for seating in dining room. Comfortable seating in the living room to read or watch TV. Wooded trail across the street led one to Pleasant Lake beach , kayaks and gorgeous sunsets. Back deck included a perfect setting for supper under the lights.

Perfect Cape Getaway!

Patrick’s house is just absolutely perfect for our couples getaway. With gorgeous views of water right from the backyard, and the perfect amount of space, we really enjoyed our stay!

Cozy Cape Cottage

This house rental in the Harwich area is centrally located and has easy access to many activities. There are several ponds for kayaking which we took advantage of close by. The house is in a lovely neighborhood, nicely laid out and decorated. It's perfect for 3 friends or a family with a few kids. the house was well equipped and easy to navigate. The owner PJ was easily accessible and responded in a timely manner. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay on the Cape and in this house and would definitely consider it for a future rental.

Excellent stay

This location is a treat. The house is 2br and was great for our party of 5. The equipment (kayaks, lake toys, bikes) are well cared for and neatly organized. The small lake beaches were a great way to have fun around the house. Everything was easy and the location was very convent to get into downtown, Hyannis, and Chattam. Would hope to stay there again!

Terrific location with beautiful private community beach.

Delightful house with bouquets of flowers to greet us upon arrival. Very comfortable and relaxing. Private back yard to eat dinner or read a good book. Scads of birds chirping and totally peaceful. Would return in a flash.

Central location on the Cape

Nice location to get to bike trails and Chatham. Kitchen so you can cook in rather than eating out every meal. Easy access to the pond beach across the street. Bring your own sheets and towels. Musty smell throughout and lots of bugs.

Nice house in a great location

We had a great time! The house is very pleasant, in a prime Cape Cod location. We loved the back yard, the serene ponds on both sides of the house, and the fire pit. I bet the place is even better in the summer. Only thing I am not a big fan of - guests must bring their own linens or, if they use the ones in the house - wash and dry them before checkout. 1. It is so much nicer to come to a house with made beds, after a day of hiking, with tired kids, dinner to make and unpack... 2. The last morning was inconvenient - we had to run two loads of laundry which meant we were just sitting around for couple of hours before we could leave to start our day.

Beautiful spot

Really lovely place, very clean, had everything we needed. Only complaint is that PJ was a bit slow to answer the few texts I sent, but everything else was just perfect.
