Renovated family-friendly home with sunset views! 2 blocks to beach

The perfect family beach escape!

Our 2nd floor condo (on the ocean side of West Avenue) sleeps 8 comfortably in 3 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. The open-plan kitchen offers new appliances and modern amenities. Guests have access to our private shed and beach equipment.

Bedrooms:
- The primary bedroom has a king bed with a connected full bathroom.
- The second bedroom also has a king bed.
- The third bedroom has 2 full sized beds and sleeps 4.
- There is also a queen pullout in the living room.
(Guests must bring their own sheets. Pillows and comforters are provided.)

The covered front porch has gorgeous unobstructed views of the bay wetlands and spectacular sunsets. A great place for morning coffee or evening cocktails!

The rear deck has a propane grill and furniture for eating or lounging.

This home also offers an outdoor, enclosed shower and a ground-level mud/laundry room (with a toilet for those quick runs back from the beach.) There is driveway parking for 1 car and plenty of street parking on West Avenue.

Our location is ideal on the ocean side of West Avenue between 38th and 39th street in Ocean City, NJ. It's a very short walk (only 2 short blocks!) to the beautiful and guarded beach on 39th street. Also, only 1 block to Uncle Bill's pancake house and Aunt Betty's ice cream at 40th street and just 4 blocks to the shopping, restaurants, playgrounds, tennis courts, basketball courts, etc. at 34th Street. Some stores within walking distance include Acme Supermarket, Wawa, CVS, Randazzo's Restaurant, Ice Cream, Hoys 5&10, The Garden Center, Bike Rentals, and much more.

(Sorry no groups under age 25, no senior week rentals, and no parents signing for/renting on behalf of a group under age 25.)

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this charming second-floor home. The three bedrooms and two bathrooms were spacious and comfortable, and the updated kitchen made it easy to prepare meals when we wanted a break from dining out. The living room was beautifully arranged and felt so inviting—a perfect place to unwind after a day at the beach.Both the front and back decks added so much to the experience; whether enjoying morning coffee or evening conversation, they provided the ideal setting to relax and soak in the atmosphere. The location is fantastic—just a short four-minute walk to the beach—so if you enjoy walking and being close to the ocean, this truly is the perfect spot.My sister and I spent four days here and couldn’t have been happier with our choice. The vibe of the house is warm, comfortable, and relaxing. The host was incredibly attentive and kind, which made the entire experience even more enjoyable. We would absolutely love to return and highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a coastal getaway.

The house was wonderful and a great fit for families with young children. The house was beautifully decorated, the kitchen stocked with all essentials for cooking, a child friendly bedroom (with some games and toys), and everything was clean and welcoming. The house is very conveniently located, and my family was able to take advantage of a lovely beach and several restaurants within walking distance (walking distance for a 4 year old). Cheri is a wonderful host. Her book of info for things to do, places to shop and eat, and options for rainy days was a real help to us. She was also very friendly and maintained great communication with us with a few questions that I had during our stay. The listing description is accurate and our experience was really great. We would stay there again and recommend to others!

OCNJ Cozy Beach House!

The house was pretty, cozy, very clean, equipped with all of the necessities and a few extra touches we appreciated! The owner was quick to respond and a very welcoming host. Would definitely stay in her beach home again!!

Cute place!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this cute condo! My kids also loved the space and enjoyed some of the games/puzzles that were kept in the condo. Would definitely recommend this place to others!

A Home Away From Home

My wife and I spent several nights here with our 1 year old daughter. The house was clean and welcoming upon arrival. We knew it would be overkill for us to have the house to ourselves, but it was worth it. The house is great for families because there are loads of board games, puzzles, etc. for your enjoyment. The kitchen was well-stocked with the necessities if you wanted to do any cooking. Besides for the location, we chose this house also because it was a 2nd floor space which would allow our daughter to sleep peacefully without the possibility of noisy neighbors above. The property was conveniently located near the beach on the quiet end of town away from the Boardwalk. We did visit the Boardwalk almost every evening as it was still only a short drive away. There is also a playground nearby that we visited a couple times. The house is very close to the grocery store, pharmacy, and several restaurants as well. There’s a nice porch for morning/evening relaxation facing the bay. The host, Cheri, kindly let us check in early since the cleaners had already been through and she also allowed us to check out several hours later since there was not a booking immediately after ours. This allowed us to not feel rushed and let our daughter get a morning nap in before our long drive home. Cheri was very responsive to any questions. Thanks for having us!

Perfection!

We just can't say enough about this house! The location was perfect!! Close to beach, just 2 short blocks, beautiful sunset deck overlooking the bay, and wonderful communication with owner! The house was clean and had everything!! You just need to bring towels and sheets, and food of course. ;-) The space was perfect for us 6. The kids would pick up the Jitney at the corner of 39th and West that took them to boardwalk. Will be definitely booking this next summer 2025. Lisa

Wonderful time

Rental was clean and welcoming. Cheri was so responsive and reached out to let us know that it was ready early. The living room and kitchen is nice and open and we loved sitting on the porch in the evening. Beach was a close walk.

Lovely stay in OCNJ!

My family greatly enjoyed our stay at Cheri’s property in OCNJ. It is exactly as the listing describes, and is generally well located relative to the beach, grocery store, playground, and importantly Uncle Bill’s pancake house! Cheri was communicative and generously allowed us to check in early and check out late on our arrival and departure dates. We would love to return!

Weekend getaway

Wonderful stay in early fall

We had a wonderful experience! Decor is so nice, very clean, and it was convenient that the house had so many amenities (e.g., lots of tupperware, appliances, new kitchen, FireStick). We were also impressed that the beds were comfy! Cheri was also very easy to get in touch with when we had a question upon arrival. We hope to return again!

Wonderful home!

Great house in a great location. The home is recently remodeled and it was very nicely done. The kitchen appliances were really nice and there were plenty of cooking utensils etc. The beds were comfortable and bedrooms were a nice size (and not overstuffed with too many beds.) The porch easily seats 6 adults for dinner. Communication with the host was very easy. All in all it was very comfortable for 6 adults who want to enjoy the beach but also want to have some down time to sit and read or have a nice family dinner. We’d love to come back next summer!

Best Beach and Sunset Stay

Cheri is fantastic at communication! I’ve rented at OCNJ for 15 years and I adored her home. Location allowed for easy 39th street beach access which was fabulous with considerably less population then 34th or 36th street beaches. The highlight of her home is the beautiful sunsets of the unobstructed wetlands. Overall great little home with a perfect kitchen, adorable dining/living room, terrific front/back porch including upgraded grill. Our family of 6 (one teen and three young adult children) were very comfortable.
