Destin Beach Delight is a luxury two bedroom, two bath condominium located at the famous Pelican Beach Resort in Destin, the heart of the emerald coast. Pelican Beach boasts the most complete amenities of any beach resort in the area. Located directly on the white sand beaches of Destin, the resort offers an expansive beach area where beach service and water activities are available seasonally. The resort also contains a huge lagoon pool, indoor-outdoor heated pool, kiddie pool, zero-entry Gulf Front pool, Tiki Bar and communal BBQ Pits. Vacationers can sit back and relax in the sauna, steam room, or hot tub. Fitness buffs can walk or run on the beach, work out in the well-equipped health club, or play a few sets on the resort's modern tennis courts. Pelican Beach also contains a family friendly restaurant which offers a pizzeria, deli-bakery, gourmet groceries, snacks, and beer or wine (open seasonally).

The designer decorated, modern condo sleeps six comfortably and carries the resort's highest rating. The master bedroom with king bed and private bath, provides access to the furnished balcony offering a spectacular view of the beach, bay, Destin skyline, and Gulf of Mexico. The second bedroom is furnished with twin beds and provides access to the second full size bathroom complete with washer and dryer. The fully equipped kitchen with breakfast bar leads to the comfortable yet tastefully decorated dining and living room areas... both with dynamic views to the balcony and emerald green waters below.

Destin and the surrounding area offer a wonderful selection of leisure activities. Choose from 20 scenic golf courses, or fabulous shopping at the recently completed Destin Commons or upscale Sandestin Outlet Mall. Great place!

Michael was fantastic. Check in was easy. Property is gorgeous! Right on the beach and great pools. Close to anything you want. Will definitely rent here again! It was our first time in Destin and we will be back.

Great stay!

We loved the location and condo. Our 2 kids loved the pools, beach, views and so did we. The location is great and close to many attractions and restaurants. We are already hoping to come back!

Never been to Destin. Got lucky with this listing I found randomly on VRBO. Great location. Beautiful beach. Spent 3 wks and loved every minute. Would definitely return.

We absolutely loved our stay

We had a absolute great time on our visit, the condo 1616 was very clean, updated.. also there is 4 extra beach chairs and a few body boards they leave for guest to use.. the view from our room was perfect! Thank you so much Michael for being a great host!! We will def be back and recommend!!

Great place for all ages!

Beautiful view of ocean and of sunsets. Easy access to many tourist attractions and stores. Great to be able to cook and grill (propane grills provided) and not eat out so much. Very clean. Thanks for a great stay!

Everything you need for the perfect beach vacation!

This condo is perfect for a beach vacation! 2 bedroom, 2 bath and balcony view of the ocean! Easy access to the beach, 2 heated pools and a tiki bar for great food and drinks! The condo is clean and even has a washer and dryer. This unit has it all!

A Great stay at Pelican Beach Resort!

We were very pleased with the accomodations. The one thing that was aggravating was when we went to get in a hot tub the hot tub rules were not being followed no one enforced them so kids were splashing around that makes it hard to enjoy. Other than that it was a wonderful stay.

Mike was a great communicator. The place was in a great location and was exactly as described in the post. The place was clean with beautiful view. The grounds of the complex was well taken care of and had great beach access. The pools and hot tubs were clean and well maintainwd as well. We enjoyed our stay and would stay here again next time we are in town.

Great location with beautiful view

Condo was comfortable and had a great view of the beach. Kitchen was stocked with everything needed. The host, Micheal, was very responsive to email communication. A few minor things needed repair, but nothing that interfered with our wonderful stay. We would definitely book here again.

The view is spectacular- not only can you see the ocean, the city lights are amazing. The condo is clean, spacious and well equipped. My only complaint were the pillows on the beds. They all need replacing as they were flat and hard.

Very nice unit that worked well for our family of 5. Excellent beach access. The building itself is getting a face lift but the unit was up to date and well cared for. Pools, hot tubs, and grills available for use.

Perfect Beach Getaway

Pelican Beach Resort was perfect for us, always having the option of beach or pool made everyone happy. The condo was perfect for three adults and two children. We were able to make meals in the full kitchen and have game nights when the weather wasn’t cooperating. Waking up every morning with an amazing view from the balcony and walking the beach as we watched the sunrise was just what we needed. Michael left recommendations for restaurants and shopping and having a washer and dryer was perfect. Definitely planning to come back!

Spring Break 2024

Second time staying at this property and in this unit. Great place, book beach chairs early and know that they only allow 3 chairs to a group… so plan accordingly. HarborWalk village is interesting- $20 parking as a heads up. Would stay again next time we are in Destin. Pelican Beach Resort needs some updating for the whole building, 2 elevators out of order. They weren’t great about enforcing the no smoking policies and the people around us were smoking/vaping weed…. yuck. Not the owners issue but the facility management should enforce.

View and Location

Pros: Location, amenities were nice, condo was a little above average and had everything we needed. View from balcony is the SE. TV was updated to a smart TV & wall color updated (pics don’t show these updates). A few floating rings were left in the cabinet. No issues with the condo nor at the pools, front desk, parking, snack bar, tikki bar, or fitness center. Cons: the condo is a bit outdated; the door and door frames appear to have been replaced at one point in time. but the doors were never painted. There is wall paint all over several areas of the woodwork. white woodwork was quite dirty, but I know how hard it is to keep white woodwork clean, especially after a few months. To be fair, I can imagine that it’s hard to keep up with it with so many people using your condo and some not respecting it. The paid beach chairs take up all ocean front spots; you sit behind two rows of paid beach chairs.Would possibly stay here again. Since there were no major issues.

Pictures don’t do justice! Recently renovated condo

The views from each side are mesmerizing! Easy check in (even earlier). Reception was very helpful. Michael (the owner) was pleasant to communicate with and very accommodating. Usually responded within several hours. The condo has been nicely updated since the photos: modern decor, neutral wall paint. Clean and nicely stocked rental and kitchen (minus pantry essentials so get your own salt/sugar/oil etc). Ice maker and all appliances work. The condo is on the 16 floor with 5 elevators available (short wait time). Loved the common facilities: heated pools (3), tiki bar, affordable made to order breakfast/lunch options at the cafe. The beach is the most beautiful beach I’ve been to! Didn’t have to rent the commercial chairs. The condo had two beach chairs. Sitting behind the rental chairs was still fine, can see the water from there. Tip: don’t waste your towels like at a hotel (you won’t get extras), shower pressure was a little low (high floor). No beach towels - bring your own. Overall very happy and will come back in future!

Great for a Family

We loved the location- next to lots of shopping, restaurants and grocery stores. The beach is beautiful and the pools are clean and not too crowded in the fall. Staff is friendly and helpful.
