Attention, the State of Hawaii Transient Accommodation Taxes has been recently increased to 11% for all 2026 reservations. Confirmed reservations will see an invoice adjustment when the new tax law is signed by the Governor.
Spacious two story home on 2 acres land surrounded by palm trees, flower farm and fruit orchard with gorgeous sunset views towards the Kahalawai Mountains. The ground floor offers a large bedroom with 2 double beds, shower bath and dressing room. The upstairs floor has two master suites with king beds and in-suite bathrooms, large living and dining area and a fully equipped kitchen with gas stove.
The home offers everything you need on vacation.
The neighborhood is agricultural and rural in character. Ho'okipa Beach Park is only a few minutes drive away, Paia town about 10 min. with gourmet Restaurants and Boutiques. The next swimming beach is Baldwin Beach Park, about 10 min. drive depending on traffic.
Hale Pola'i is a licensed vacation rental with Maui County.

Our Rental Agreement includes all county regulations and all guests must be registered by name. Valid ID and credit card must be provided for check-in.
There is a 14 night minimum stay during the Holiday Season.

great spot to gather family

My family had a lovely stay; we fully enjoyed the spacious lanai, often starting the day together by sharing the beautiful view before heading out to chosen activities. We appreciated the well appointed kitchen and comfortable sleeping.

Great location, wonderful excursions & when we needed a break we had a fabulous home to relax in and rejuvenate. We all could live on the porch area forever! Perfectly maintained home & grounds and extremely comfortable for everyone. Beyond memorable every day!

Maui vibes in paradise

Just a beautiful home in a perfect location! We spent so much time on the amazing balcony with perfect views, love the sound the wind makes in the palm trees. The owners were super helpful and responsive and though the island has much to offer, I wouldn’t stay anywhere else. So peaceful and spacious and just perfect!

Relaxed Stay at Hale Pola'i

This is our third stay at Hale Pola'i. The house, setting and grounds are wonderful and each stay has been as good as the previous one. Haiku is a special area. We are close to several beaches, but also to the wonderful town of Paia and to Upcountry hiking trails. We are looking forward to our next visit in 2024.

Hale Pola'i Wonderful

This is a repeat of our multiple stays at Hale Pola'i. We return year after year and the home never disappoints. AJ was the perfect host and the house itself is always in excellent condition. Haiku is a nice residential area, but close to Pa'ia and Baldwin beach. We are getting organized to reserve another stay next winter. Highly Recommended!

Best vacation ever!

My family has traveled the world extensively and we have been in Maui several times prior, but this property has it all. The house had perfect accommodations for 4 adults and 2 children. The photos don’t do the reality any justice and we are heartbroken to have to leave.

Roman and his family were wonderful guests! He was a great communicator, and they left the home in wonderful condition. We would recommend them to other hosts and would be happy to have them back again. We tried to give these guests a 5 STAR rating in all categories, but something went wrong with the Vrbo website and it wouldn't allow us to select the stars. Thank you Roman for being our guests! Beautiful Maui Home

The house and property exceeded our expectations. The house was lovely and spacious, and had all the amenities we needed. Every day we enjoyed our morning coffee out on the deck. The yard was gorgeous, we picked fruit from a variety of trees, and enjoyed watching the birds. We would love to return to this beautiful house someday.

An Amazing First time in Maui Experience.

This was our first time in Maui, and I can say the house made it perfect. Perfectly located for east and west side activities. Amazing view of the ocean and sunset. The house is huge and it sits on a beautiful 2 acre lot with palm trees and so many fruit trees including coconuts which you can take. Also the pics dont do it justice. Just an an amazing stay at this place. 5 star rating for me.

Lovely and peaceful

This lovely Haiku home was set in a gorgeous location, well appointed, clean and comfortable. Exactly what we expected from the listing. Margit gave us a gift certificate to Colleen’s as there was an issue with the gate and some unexpected garden work in process, neither of which was bothersome.

Great house

This house is much better than the other propertis I booked in Maui. Garden is beautiful and each space is large and clean but only one AC in master bedroom might be considerable. Other rooms, kitchen, and livingroom don't have AC but ceiling fan can be helpful. This house is well maintained by people. My family was pretty satisfied with this house.

A true dream

I cannot express enough how much I truly enjoyed my stay in Maui with this Vrbo rental! From the moment we arrived, it was clear the owners had gone above and beyond to make everything perfect. The house was immaculate, thoughtfully stocked with everything we could think of, and had such a warm and welcoming vibe that we felt at home immediately.The view from the house is truly to die for—absolutely breathtaking and something I’ll never forget. On top of that, the house had everything you could possibly need, making it feel like the ultimate getaway. To make it even better, there’s a gorgeous turtle beach just four minutes away, which was an incredible bonus!The time flew by so quickly, it was one of those stays where you wish you could hit pause and savor every moment. The attention to detail and care put into the home made our vacation absolutely unforgettable.I wholeheartedly recommend this rental to anyone looking for a memorable stay in Maui. Whether you're seeking relaxation, adventure, or just a cozy getaway, this is the place to book. I'm already looking forward to planning my next trip and staying here again. 3 Out Of 6 Days People Entered Property WITHOUT Permission!!!

Let me start off with the property is impressive and is a 5 star property with the exception of a few things. Dual master bedrooms beds are not impressive nor fit for this property. The mattresses and comforter set needs to be upgraded. Property Manager, landscapers etc. enters via gate code during stay without knowledge which is completely against any state lease. I was sunbathing topless and seen a gentleman inside the property walking the grounds?? This property is gated and not one person asked if they could enter. I paid to much money for this to be happening. We rented home for 6 days and on three different days people entered property without permission. Cleaning fee is insane due to the fact that the house was in same condition aside from bedsheets being washed. I washed everything the night before aside from bedsheets since we had a early plane to catch. Of course they didn’t offer any of my money back for helping the housekeeper. We had five in our family and the house only allows six?? This is interesting because there's more then enough room for two families at location. Two dual masters (4 people), three single beds (3 people) and loft could possible fit another person. All in all this home can easily hold 7 people with beds provided. CA law is 2 per room plus 1? Overall! I'm dissatisfied due to multiple people entering property without permission and cleaning fee when only bedsheets needed to be washed.

We encourage our guests to contact us with questions or concerns, giving us the opportunity to respond immediately, as we pride ourselves on professional customer service. As it was disclosed in the rental agreement… this 2 acre property has a flower farm, which is serviced and harvested one to two times per week. The landscaper is scheduled every 2 weeks, weather depending. This home is licensed to accommodate 6 persons (including children) max occupancy, as we are in compliance by the restrictions of the Maui County licensing laws for private vacation rentals. In the state of Hawaii, nudity is not appropriate. We are courteous of our neighbors in this multi-generational family setting neighborhood. All of our properties are professionally cleaned and sanitized to provide our guests with a high quality service. This is a large home of 3,462 sq. ft., in particular. Everything in the home is cleaned and stripped down to the mattress pads and pillow protectors in order to ensure a safe and comfortable environment. All guests deserve to receive this same quality of service provided to them at check-in.

Another epic stay!

This is our second time staying at this property. We have stayed in great houses all over the world and this is our #1 favorite! We frequent Maui often and will stay here everytime!!! Thanks again for a wonderful stay! We can't wait to return.

Beautiful and serene

Large property with majestic palm trees in the front yard and patio. We enjoyed sitting on the second floor patio just relaxing or having our meals on the outdoor dining tables. Lots of amenities and a very helpful agent for any additional needs.

Just awesome!

This property is better than advertised! More beds and bathrooms than 6 people need! The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you could need and the grounds themselves are just beautiful. On the occasion when grounds keepers do stop by you barely even notice that they are there. Plenty of space for an adventurous 5 year old to run and play and the most lovely patio for a BBQ or morning coffee. We will most certainly be returning to this property on future visits!

Amazing Property

It is rare to experience a home that is actually better than the marketing pictures on the web site. The kitchen is fabulous and there are lots of places to dine and relax in, including the beautiful vistas from the wrap-around deck. Margit was very responsive to our texts. Beautiful!

Beautiful and Comfortable

This home was conveniently located as we love to visit Paia, Ho'okipa, Makawao, Kula, and Kahului to visit family. The home was very clean and well stocked. We cooked at the home for most meals, and having multiple people prepping was easy due to the spaciousness. We enjoyed coffee and breakfasts on the deck everyday, and enjoyed the view of the garden and the ocean in the distance. The home is well laid out, with the bedrooms separated and central common living spaces. The property managers communicate well and are very responsive.

Beautiful...

To say a little piece of our souls stayed on Maui is an understatement. It goes without saying that Maui is beautiful! We did, however, need a place to rest between adventures and this home was the perfect place for resting and relaxing and taking in the gorgeous views. The home was clean and comfortable and nicely decorated. Initially, we were a little concerned that the home does not have central air. However, the evenings cool down quite a bit and the wonderful breeze off the bluest ocean cools the home... Coming from a dry, hot climate, being able to open the windows and letting the breeze sweep throughout the home was nearly magical. We were also concerned that we would be far from activities and such, but other than the slower movement through Paia, the drive to the west side of the island was very easy. Other than The Road to Hana, our longest drive was 1.5 hours to the northwest side of the island, but, again, it was an easy drive. The property manager was very helpful, was available to answer any questions, and was very friendly. Overall, we would happily stay in this home again and recommend it to anyone.

Maui Adventure!

This property was absolutely breath taking. Everything from the check in process, communication with the property manager, the location, the view and etc. was more than we could’ve asked for. The property is a sight in itself and the location made it easy for us to do everything we wanted to do. My fiancé and I went with our set of parents and the house allowed for us to have our own privacy when needed and we were able to come together and enjoy each other’s company. Amazing experience.

Maui stay

We enjoyed our stay in Maui. We saw things at this location that we would have missed if we stayed elsewhere. The north side is totally different. Loved it. The privacy at this house is outstanding.
