Are you in need of a relaxing ā€œSeaside Retreat ā€œ, search no more! This PET FRIENDLY Oceanfront, 2nd Floor Condo offers 2 bedrooms & 2 baths in a Fantastic East End Location. Whether you're a small family just trying to get away, or maybe a couple with a fur baby and just trying to find the perfect little getaway. This recently updated and beautifully decorated condo, offers beautiful views from the covered balcony. There is assigned parking in front of the building. This condo is within easy walking or biking distance from 2 local restaurants, shops, bars, ice cream shops, and water sports. This home has luxury vinyl plank flooring, granite countertops, 3 flat screen smart TV's cable and Wireless internet is provided, plus there is outdoor showers on the boardwalk between buildings. The king master bedroom has a private bath with a separate shower. The second bedroom offers 2 full beds with a shared hall bath.

Pet Friendly: $250 Non-refundable pet fee is required and is limited to a single dog up to 50 pounds. An additional dog(s) may be allowed provided that they are pre-approved by PROACTIVE Vacations. Additional Fees will apply for more than one dog. Guests must crate pets when they are left in the home unattended.

A security deposit of $250 is required at the time of booking to cover any potential damages or excessive cleaning needs during your stay. This deposit is fully refundable after your departure, provided no damage or additional charges are incurred. Please note that the deposit will be refunded to the original payment method.

Enjoyable Stay

This place was fabulous other than the fact that you have to make up your own bed, of which is not at all comfortable. A better cleaning service to make up the new beds would make it a perfect 5 star.

Amazing Getaway!!

We stayed at this condo for our yearly spring break girlsā€™ trip. It was perfect! We watched dolphins from the balcony and were walking distance to several great restaurants. The ocean was only steps away and we found shells and sharks teeth every time we went out. The owners have special touches throughout the condo including a sweet treat for fur babies! I highly recommend this condo! I promise you will not be disappointed! We canā€™t wait to come back next spring break!

Getaway week

Good overall. However, the lighting in the bathrooms could use some help. Not good for putting on makeup. šŸ˜ž. A mirror in the bedrooms would definitely be a plusšŸ‘ And the exhaust fan in the hall bedroom doesnā€™t work at all. I realize that these are all minor things, just giving my opinion. We had a wonderful week, the condo was exactly what we needed, and you canā€™t beat that beachfront view !!!!

We truly loved the location! The unit was clean and nicely furnished. We had an issue with the TV in the living room. It did not work. We left two messages on Saturday when we arrived about the TV and damage to the walls behind the chairs. Then I called back Monday afternoon and talked to someone. They said they were going to call back and they did not. It would have been nice to have them to just communicate with us whether it was, There is nothing we can do or we can help you fix it. That was disappointing. Waiting on our deposit to be returned.

Stellar view - Shelling bounty

This place is right over the causeway on Holden Beach. We stayed for three nights to have a short, shelling vacation. Nicely appointed, clean. Management company very responsive. My only complaint at the rental (related to the cleaning service) was the kitchen counters felt sandy to the touch, and the cleaner they used had such a strong scent I had to air out the condo for several hours before it was at a tolerable level. We loved the top floor view so close to the water, with the main bedroom oceanfront as well as the living room. In early March the beach wasn't busy at all, but know that there is public beach access right next to the building, so it might be busier than other locations on the beach in the summer. The furniture and beds were comfortable, and there were enough extra blankets and pillows to accommodate everyone. There were plenty of kitchen supplies, including items from past tenants that the listing stated explicitly that we should bring. For longer stays, I would suggest making an inventory on arrival and then heading to the Food Lion just over the causeway to shop for any missing items. And then there was the shelling. I don't know if it always this way, but the 3 days we were there we found tons of shells near this condo. We went to the pier, and to the east end of the island, but had the best success right around the condo (tons of in-tact olives, augers, slippers, sharks eyes, baby ears, several perfect conches and 2 shark's teeth!)

Nice condo

The balcony has 2 bar height chairs and no table so you really can't dine out there or set your beverage down. Also there is no coffee table so you wouldn't be able to set your beverage down there either. Other than that the condo is great . Clean , great location, great view and quiet.

The perfect beach spot!

My husband and I loved this condo. We stayed first week of May and the location, just a block east of the bridge, is perfect for getting on and off the island easily. I couldnā€™t believe how clean everything was, no dust, no sand, nothing stained up. All appliances working perfect and clean. We really enjoyed sitting on the back deck, friendly neighbors, ocean view, just perfect! Definitely coming back!

Lovely condo right on the water

We could not have asked for a better property. The condo was updated and had everything we could need. The location of the apartment was just perfect - right on the water. I loved being on the second floor, so that we didn't have stomping above us. Holden Beach is relatively boring, so if you are looking for things to do, please look elsewhere. I was looking to rest and not do much except walk and read books so it was just fine. There were no restaurants open for the most part and most things were a 30 minute drive at least. My biggest complaint was the clean up of the condo upon leaving. I'm not sure why we have to clean up so much if a cleaning crew is coming in to clean. I don't think i should be responsible for removing the linens, taking out the trash (down to the street), unloading the dishwasher etc...I think this should be considered part of the fee. We will probably not return, but just because of the lack of things to do or see. Our desire to go somewhere else is not based on the property at all. I'd love to move the property to somewhere more lively.
