Welcome to Whiskey Business at The Lookout!

Whiskey Business is a modern cottage located in the new Vineyard district. The open floor plan, comfortable furnishings and convenient location is directly in front of the new Vineyard district pool and hot tub that creates a perfect place to stay for family and friends. The pool is covered in the winter months which makes it perfect for enjoying a swim when the snow is on the ground. The house features two full bedrooms upstairs with vaulted ceilings and large windows and a pullout sleeper sofa downstairs with a full bath. Whiskey Business is kid and pet-friendly with concrete floors on the first floor and carpeting upstairs.

Downstairs is the open kitchen, dining room, living room and full bathroom as well as a laundry closet with a stacked front-load high capacity washer and dryer. The kitchen has all the amenities to make your vacation hassle free including a stove, microwave, door in door refrigerator, coffee maker, and Keurig. The open kitchen features a live edge dining room table that will comfortably seat 6. The living room includes a large 4K Smart TV with cable, Xbox gaming system and Bluetooth soundbar as well as a large window seat bench to curl up with your favorite book.

Whiskey Business comfortably sleeps 4 in the two bedrooms. With the additional queen sleeper sofa, you have the ability to sleep 6. The master bedroom features a queen bed, barn door, large closet with ample storage, cable HDTV, and an ensuite bathroom with a lighted vanity mirror. The second bedroom has a queen bed, cable HDTV, large ensuite bathroom with a lighted vanity mirror and closet.

Walk out the back door and you will find a relaxing space including a covered patio with an Infratech heater and two Adirondack chairs to enjoy the sounds of the pool splash pad. There are plenty of hooks to hang wet towels from the day at the lake or pool. The paver patio has a propane fire table with comfortable outdoor seating for 4 and a BBQ grill for outdoor grilling. Directly off the back patio you will find the pathway to the new Vineyard district pool with a splash pad/water feature (that kids will love) and a large built in hot tub. There is a bathroom and changing room pool house and plenty of pool chairs, umbrellas and loungers to relax in.

Take the short walk to the upper Lookout community pool and central park complete with playground, playfield, pickleball court, large outdoor stone fireplace, and community grill. Catch the Lookout shuttle to access the lake, whether it is the private beach or marina with dog dock for your canine companion to take a swim. This home is perfectly situated for a family getaway, couples vacation or a fun trip with friends.

Complimentary Wi-Fi provided that can handle a full family of devices.

A maximum of 2 dogs, 75 pounds or less, crate sleeper, and house-trained are permitted at Whiskey Business. One large collapsible dog crate for guest use is stored in the bedroom closet.

A destination in itself

We were hoping for a nice relaxing stay in a sunny area. Unfortunately we have small kids and we were all a bit under the weather for this trip. But I loved the location, home, and amenities at the lookout. We will definitely stay again.

The location was great - right next to the pool and also convenient parking right outside our door. The covered patio was perfect for gatherings and we enjoyed the fire pit at night. The house itself was comfortable and a good size for 2 adults and an infant. Only two minor suggestions for improvement: It would be helpful to have shampoo/body wash in all 3 bathrooms (we only found them in the downstairs one). Additionally, the uncovered top of the bedroom windows let in quite a bit of light. Overall, we had a wonderful time and would definitely stay here again. The Lookout is such a great family vacation spot!

It was the perfect weekend getaway!

We fully enjoyed our stay. The weather was great! It was Easter weekend and there were lots of fun planned activities for the kiddos! We brought our pup with us and he chilled in the sun on the patio. The pool & jacuzzi were the best addition to our stay. And, the best little touch was a bottle of Basil Hayden Bourbon mix was waiting for us to start out the weekend!

Beautiful home in the Lookout!

The house was a great size for us and extremely clean. The furnishings were very nice and the location of the home was great, being right by the pool. The downside was not being able to park at the home for a few days, due to a paving project, but that shouldn't be an issue in the future.

Pleasant stay but outdated photos.

Stay was good. Picture does not represent property. Maybe looked like that when first built but cover photo no longer represents property or surroundings. Also, booking directly at Lookout would have saved us almost 400. Only noticed immediately after booking but it was nonrefundable. I got a receipt from the lookout after booking, and it was for far less than what we paid. And then I got a separate receipt from VRBO for the difference as a "booking fee". Kinda silly!

Roommate reunion

Wonderful location! The house and neighborhood are absolutely beautiful and I would go back! Didn't realize it was an active construction site though and the picture advertising the location is out of date. (it is much more developed now) that was the only negative. Crews were nice and work hours were not a bother. I had to call after hours, because the wi-fi went out, and someone was there within 15 minutes.

So much comfort in every single room, so much fab decor everywhere you looked. Being poolside was convenient and also private. The shuttle down to the private beach is close too! Everything you would want in a place to allow your brain some R&R is right here at Whiskey Business.

The area is so beautiful

The whisky business, is located on hills and uneven terrain. The access the the unit steep stairs. Elderly Family members as well as 4 legged ones Will need to use extra caution. As we were packing up and cleaning getting ready to check out. Around 10am multiple staff members were , Hanging around the outside front and back for us to leave. This was an hour before check out. This made me feel very uncomfortable. As I was seeing the garbage was taken out and beds were stripped. Struck me as inconsiderate.

The communication throughout our experience was seamless too! From the way we received information to prepare for our trip, info about the community/condo/ community activities/check in/out, local recos... it was timely, complete, shareable, easy to reference during our trip! The aesthetics of the condo - so well decorated, spotless, and they provided everything we needed - even dog treats! We had a plast walking through the neighborhood, tasting at Vin Du Lac down the street (the smashed potatoes are to die for, btw!)All in all - I am grateful for the thought and attn to detail that made our entire experience great!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Whiskey Business is a gorgeous home. It is really the perfect combination of masculine modern design with comfortable furnishings. The custom made live edge dining, coffee, and end tables are like artwork and the owners invested heavily in high end appliances, electronics, furnishings and overall dƩcor. This home feels larger than it is since it was so thoughtfully designed with two large bedrooms and three gracious bathrooms, all with showers. With all these amazing amenities, the home is still quite family and dog friendly. Whiskey Business is located steps away from the lower Lookout pool with easy access to the mountain bike trail and a 3 minute walk to Vin Du Lac winery/bistro. Our kids lived in the pool during our stay. We would recommend Whiskey Business to any of our friends. We would have given it more than 5 stars if we could. Cheers!

Great Overall

The rental is wonderful. We loved the layout and dog friendly nature of the whole neighborhood. The third bathroom is so great with a group. The decor is adorable and modern. You canā€™t walk to town easily in the heat but itā€™s a very short drive. We enjoyed the pool and how close it was to the rental. We wished there had been better communication about the beach options and discovered it too late in our short trip. Communication for check-in needs some work. We got zero communication other than a confirmation of purchase until the rental was ready at 4 pm. I found that worrisome and had even emailed the day before with zero response. The rental had many great supplies as needed. We brought our own soap and shampoo but all three bathrooms had some providedā€”a pleasant surprise. Towels are ample. Loved having a washer and dryer and some detergent provided. Kurig was great; there were tons of pods probably from a previous guest (?) and we were very grateful. There were two bottles of wine on the table when we arrived. I hope they were included; we drank them (no note or pricing so we think they were a gift). There are some life jackets in one of the closets; nice touch. BBQ was clean and came in handy. Great fridge! Beds are comfy even for those in our family with achy backs. The couch and chairs in the living room are *not* comfortable for anyone needing lumbar support. Other reviewers were bothered by the construction noise; we were not bothered at all. Beautiful views and sunsets. Would return for a good deal.

As we pulled up to the house, we saw the welcoming ā€œWhiskey Businessā€ sign, and knew we were in for a treat.. Once we got inside, we noted that for a ā€œcabin / cottageā€ it was amazingly modern looking with beautiful tiling behind the counters and gorgeous couch and chair setup on the far end of the first floor. The decor lived up to the name of the home, as we could clearly see ā€œWhiskey Businessā€ spread throughout the home. From the bourbon barrel lids on the wall, to the coasters with signature bourbons printed on them to the giant buffalo (trace) photo up the stairs, we could tell a lot of time was put into decorating this in just the right way. Everything was clean and neatly stocked and we were able to find everything we needed really easily. The beds in our room were incredibly comfortable, and, with a bathroom in each of the bedrooms, it allowed my wife and I to get ready at the same time! The adirondacks and whiskey barrel table on the back porch were a blessing each morning as we could sit out there and drink our coffee in the warm chelan breeze! We also made great use of the smokeless fire pit on the patio, where we sipped our old fashionedā€™s as the sun went down. We encountered only one issue - where initially, our door code would not work, but the staff at the office came over immediately to try to resolve the issue and give us a way in. When they saw we may have locked ourselves out permanently for the weekend through the code, they made sure we had a manual key to get in which we were 100% happy with!The worst part of the entire weekend, was when we had to leave it to go back to our house - we had such a happy relaxing perfect weekend in such a beautifully decorated home and we canā€™t WAIT to go back again soon!

It was so close to the pool and the shuttle pickup, great walkways and the property itself was well thought out and clean with nice extra touches especially for dogs. Would definitely stay again! The cider place down the road was great, we got texts everyday about fun activities going on, and the atvs to take you to the water were really fun and really good wait time with happy employees, this place has thought of everything!

The location was perfect (even walkable to a winery). Lots of amenities in the neighborhood (grills, pickleball court, pool, hot tub, fire pits, outdoor fireplaces, etc). Dog and family friendly!
