Quiet and private residential Gig Harbor apartment with unobstructed water
views of Mt. Rainier, Vashon Island, and Pt. Defiance. This 800sf Mid-century accented apartment has one bedroom with a king-sized adjustable bed and a connecting bathroom, full-sized kitchen, washer/dryer, dining table, table & outdoor seating, BBQ, and much more.

Lands End is perfect for couples, solo explorers, or business travelers. Ideal for short or long-term stays. A calm relief while your home is being remodeled or built.

Spectacular views: Wake up to the morning sun and an incredible panorama of Puget Sound. The yard gives you front-row seats to sailboat races, seals, whales, and eagles. Enjoy relaxing evenings on the lawn as you enjoy dinner and a glass of wine on the bluff and watch the activity of ships, tug boats, and the Vashon Island Ferry crossings.

The apartment has a wall of east-facing windows in the living room and kitchen, giving you tons of natural light. Guests control the heat or A/C to suit their comfort preferences.

Living Room: Has WI-FI, TV, and cable, and comfortable seating for 4 - 5.

Bedroom: The bedroom has a king-size adjustable bed, nightstands, a dresser, and a walk-in closet. Additionally, a super-comfortable inflatable queen-size bed (standard bed height) can be set up in the living room.

Kitchen: A galley kitchen with lots of counter space, a full-size refrigerator, stove, microwave, and a wide variety of appliances (kettle, coffee maker, toaster, blender, crock-pot, etc.). It also has most common kitchen items (pots, pans, bakeware, utensils, dishware). The dining table seats 6.

Bathroom: Full size with tub/shower and stocked with towels, toiletries, and a hair dryer.

Laundry Room: The apartment has a complimentary washer and dryer, an iron & ironing board, and washing supplies.

Outside: Your outside grill and a great dining area are in the backyard.

Other: Restaurants, a movie theater, shopping, groceries, and excursions are only a 5-minute drive away to Uptown or Old Town Gig Harbor. The drive to Sea-Tac is about 40 minutes, and to Seattle, it is about 60 minutes. Downtown Tacoma has museums, restaurants, theatres, and other attractions and is only 15-20 minutes away.

Perfect for short or long-term stays. Business travelers are welcome.

This rental went far beyond my expectations. If I had to put a quantifier on it, the rental surpassed by a wide margin any other stay that Iā€™ve rented on VRBO and every other app used.The host was very welcoming and made it a point to check in every now and then to make sure I had everything I needed. Cleanliness - 5 star. Amenities (laundry, fridge, kitchen dishes/pots/pans/etc) - 5 star. Friendliness - 5 star. Experience - 5 star. You get your own portion of driveway as well (if you rent a car). Being on the lake, the view also was quite breathtaking. I stayed for 11 days and thankfully there were a couple of clear days at the end of my stay to get a clear shot / view of Mt Rainier from the backyard.The reason for my stay was for medical purposes at The Hangar Clinic. One time I needed some assistance down the stairs due to hardship and the host was cordial enough to help out immediately no questions asked.If Iā€™m ever in the area again, I will certainly look up if this unit is available at that time. There is honestly nothing bad I can mention about this unit or the host either. Perfect spot. Perfect size. Perfect loaded apartment. Ideal host. Complete A package.

Quiet, beautiful, spacious one bedroom apartment with an incredible view! This was a perfect location in Gig Harbor for family members to stay because we had more guests than bedrooms. The property owner was very responsive and easy to communicate with. The apartment was spotless with a full kitchen, laundry, and a lovely living area overlooking Puget Sound. Absolute perfection!

We had a wonderful five nights at Lands End that was perfect in every way. The property is exactly as described - maybe even better! What a view and all the comforts of home. The kitchen has everything you need to cook meals; the home is well equipped with EVERYTHING you need, from sheets, towels, spices, toilet paper, full laundry and cleaning supplies, and more. Kara is a perfect host and we cannot wait to go back to her lovely home. Thank you, Kara.

We loved this home!

My husband and I just finished an 11 night stay and Land's End was perfect for us. The host, Kara, was kind, helpful and very communicative. Lands End is very bright and airy with large windows overlooking the water with views of Mount Ranier and a yard to enjoy sunny afternoons. Very well maintained and well equipped. The kitchen had everything we needed to eat at home. I never once found myself wishing for something that I couldn't find. You can't go wrong with thos lovely home!

Spectacular view and a great host.

The view is spectacular and the neighborhood is quiet. Location close to downtown is great too. The host was easy to work with and did an excellent job. This unit is well equipped and the pictures accurately depict the space. The range might qualify as an antique, but it worked great, adding to the charm of the unit. It's hard to find anything to say that's critical about the place, but here goes. The steps down to the unit are easy to manage, but not wheelchair friendly so a person with a disability might want to reconsider.

We canā€™t possibly communicate the superlatives Kara deserves to describe our wonderful experience during our month long stay. From checkin to our last day Kara remained proactive in her communication to make sure we had everything we needed to throughly enjoy our stay. Her home is warm & inviting ~ pristine & spotless. The very comfortable king size bed, large bathroom with ample storage & very large master bedroom closet allowed us to feel right at home. The kitchen area had everything required to prepare our meals. Breathtaking views with serene & quiet surroundings ~ totally enhanced our overall delightful experience. Kara gives new meaning to the perfect VRBO host ~ we are eternally grateful for the time we spent in her lovely home.

Mt. Rainier view

What a great place! The views out the window or just lounging in the backyard were spectacular. Very comfortable place in close proximity to everything. Gig Harbor has such a relaxed vibe, if you havenā€™t been there you should try it. Kara and Steve were amazing hosts. We met as strangers and departed as friends.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Beautiful property with views of the water and Mt Rainier. Full sized kitchen makes it easy to dine in, although there are many good restaurants close by. Comfy bed. Owners very responsive to any questions

Quiet and Comfortable

I was in the area on an extended business trip. This property was quiet and peaceful. It was the perfect place to reset at the end of the day. It is quiet and comfortable. Everything is well maintained and clean. The property and views are amazing. I spent as much time as possible outside watching the boats in the sound and wildlife. I will be checking for availability next time I am in the area.
