Private Beach House - Private Pool - Pets Welcome + Free Attraction Tickets!

This private beach house was completely remodeled in early 2022!!! It has all new flooring, paint, furniture, décor, appliances and an updated kitchen and bathrooms. This private beach house has a private salt water pool (heated as needed) and no steps to climb. Only one block from the beach and five short walking blocks from Main Street. On Main Street you can enjoy The Pavilion, arcade, restaurants, shops and popular shag clubs (some places are only open seasonally). During the summer months, there is also a small amusement park set up with rides, food & games.

Pet Friendly (dogs only)with a $200.00 Non-Refundable Pet Fee. We do not have any breed or weight restrictions nor do we have any restrictions on how many dogs you can bring. This is a non-smoking property!

Enjoy all the comforts of home while at the beach. This private, 1 story, beach house has a private pool with spacious pool deck, a fully equipped kitchen for preparing meals, full size washer & dryer, cable TV in all bedrooms and the living room, free Wi-FI and free parking.

Bedroom #1 has two full size beds. Bedroom #2 has two full size beds. Bedroom #3 has two full size beds. Bedroom #4 has 2 twins size beds (bunk beds). One of the sofas in living room has a sleeper sofa as well.

Good value

Honestly, really quick walk to the beach… but you need to bring all your beach things. The property looks nice on the surface, but - the couch leather is peeling, floor is pretty filthy no matter what, water pressure in the master bathroom is slow.

Fair Home

Place was a walk to the beach. It’s was a nice house just little hiccups. Kids loved the pool. House was clean upon arrival but linen on beds smelled dirty so we had to wash them. We have stayed at several homes and all are well equipped but this one was limited on kitchenware and no accessories for the beach. We usually travel with them and the one time we didn’t because we never had needed it we actually did need it.

Beautiful home and pool

The heated salt water pool was the star of the show and accomodations were clean and comfortable. Plenty of beds for all the guests.

Sand dollar house

It was perfect for a group of long time friends getting together for a weekend at the beach! Pool was awesome and beach is less than a 5 min walk away.

Everything was as described

The place was just as described. A remote or two had weak batteries, I think is the only thing we had any issue with. The only thing I would recommend would be a few more towel hooks in bathrooms and some clothing hooks or shelving in the little bedroom with bunk beds. We were a party of 9 and had plenty of room. The listing states up to 16 guests, I would say with 2 fairly small bathrooms that would be cramped, but we made it work well and thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We thoroughly enjoyed staying in the Sand Dollar beach house. The pool was great for young kids as well. Perfect location a block away from the beach. Loved being in North Myrtle where it was quiet. The only thing wrong with the house was the leak in the back door when it poured it seeped in. Nothing that they can’t easily fix.

Great location, loved the pool

My large family stayed here and we had plenty of room. The private pool was wonderful. Enough parking for 5 cars. Only complains, the air vents were dripping condensation and one of the pull out beds had what appeared to be rodent droppings.

Perfect vacation with extended family

Pool and short walk to beach were the best part, plenty of space even with a full house. Must have your own pool floats/toys and towels. Plenty of dishes and cookware for every meal.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It’s hard to find a rental that allows pets, let alone more than one large dog, and they often have breed restrictions. This location was perfect for us and our pitties. We had one issue with the fence, but someone was there to address it within 15 minutes of when I reported it. Very clean, well stocked, and spacious.The backyard has no grass, just decorative rock, so next time we will bring one of those grass mats for the dogs to do their business.

Good Family and Dog trip with Car Ride to Emergency Vet

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was convenient walking distance to beach. We have 2-7 mo puppies. The pool was nice but we had to have our dogs on leash at pool. There are rocks all around pool with lots of left over dog waste, animal waste, and leaves and tree debris. It would be nice if the rocks were removed and have some grass for dogs. There is no grass in front of house. The house was fairly clean but floors were dirty. Kitchen had new cabinets and appliances and stocked with dishes. No closets for hanging clothes except one bedroom. Bathrooms don’t have enough towel racks. We did not use the bedroom with bunk beds. It smelled musty to us and no rail on top bunk. When it rained, the door in back leaks at bottom. On our 6th day there,we had to take our male dog to emergency vet and he stayed overnight. The vet thought he had inhaled or ingested THC. He couldn’t stand and had tremors. We had to walk the dogs on the sidewalk on street. So the vet thought he had found some leftover in house or along street. If your going to advertise pet friendly then make sure that nothing is left that can hurt pets.

Relaxing vacation close to activities and the beach

We have stayed here before renovations so we were excited to see the progress. The beach is a block away so we enjoyed walking on the beach. The pool needed to be cleaned! We had to call a few times - chemicals were added but never vacuumed. We didn’t let that ruin our fun - we played mini golf, had some amazing dinners and shopped.

Sand Dollar

We stayed at the sand dollar 10 years ago and decided to return this year with our family, like before we were not disappointed! The house has been completely updated since our last stay and it was just as beautiful as the photos. The kids loved the pool and the fenced in back yard was perfect for them and our pup. This property was super clean and everything worked perfectly. The beds were SO comfortable. We plan to make this house our yearly tradition. There was plenty of room for our whole family! Nice front porch with spacious parking! 10 out of 10 for this property!
