Villa Castiglione 1863

Usually we don’t reply to any reviews but in our various sites is the one that satisfies us less despite being 4 stars and many compliments from the writer. We want to say that we have solved some "problems" by creating another bathroom as you can see in the photos. So the villa is equipped with 2 bathrooms inside the house and 2 near the pool: but in the description we had written that there was a bathroom in the house and two others near the pool. The kitchen is described as "uncomfortable". Subjective judgment that isn’t reflected in any other review and is a criticism that we haven’t heard from any of our guests in these 3 years. On the contrary, they greatly appreciate ceramic tiles and antique wall units. We come to the fact that they didn’t find themselves alone when they arrived. Besides the lands, the villa includes thousands of walkable metrinquadrati, obviously if it were only for those who rent the prices they would be totally different and much higher. But we can assure you that the presence of Antonio is fundamental for any information, advice, as well as being discreet and kind and is located in a room that doesn’t border the house or even in the same entrance. Those who book and stay with us have an independent entrance. The villa is not rented to other families, you won’t find other people who rent the pool or the house and you’ll be alone in the areas described and in the photos uploaded on the site. About the "party": unfortunately it was a birthday celebration of a cousin in the pool, which is rare that happened once in 3 years. We had asked the guests beforehand if it was possible to grant this request with good pleasure on their part. So writing that you can find a party until the mornings is very humiliating and untrue because we don’t do other activities outside the casavacanza. Regarding the noise of the road: leaving home or apartment as they call it, there are many nature trails around the villa to do walking through the lands with the wonderful view that you can see from the panoramic photos; obviously leaving the villa you go on a road where we will find the cars (it seems strange?) but we are still in the open countryside. We thank the guests who mentioned our aperitif-welcome, the cake bought for their son's birthday, the free tour inside the Castle of Donnafugata and many other things that without the presence of Antonio and my mother would make the Villa a place anonymous as many who surrender their home to any real estate.
